    In the, "behind the Episode," they say that Lyanna Mormont was originally just a, "one scene character," but after seeing Bella Ramsey's performance during that one scene, they felt it would be doing the show an, "Injustice," if they didn't continue using her.
    Anything beyond Bella Ramsey's introduction scene was a bonus, and we should definitely be grateful they kept her in as long as they did.
    Besides, she definitely doesn't go out like a punk lol

      People forget it's a TV show not a movie. This episode only had a budget of around 15-20 million dollars and still holds up to battles that cost around 200 million dollars to produce. Amazing episode even though the night king was underused as well as Jon for this one episode he ought to have a bigger role

      @@hnys7976 it was bad not just because of the night king being underused because majority of what's going on on screen is just pure idiocy and incompetence. you're telling me that so many esteemed and experienced commanders went to winterfell and the best strategy they got is that bullshit? And this isnt even touching on ridiculous shit like plot armor, "Muh subversion of expectations" and story decision making

    RIP Theon Greyjoy and Jorah Mormont. Their deaths broke my heart, Theon dying protecting Bran and Jorah dying protecting Daenerys it was so sad how she held him in her arms as he died and Drogon grieved with her as well.
    Arya is such a bad ass for killing the Night King. I'm surprised The NK was handled in this episode.

      you can go all the way to season 1, theon standing under the tree and they talk about war (against lannisters) and theon says if there is a war he will stand with the starks! And he did, right there! that was 8 years ago!

    Arya trained with No One to be an Assassin. She even snuck up on Jon when they reunited and he asked her how she was so quiet. And right before she leapt at the NK, one of the generals felt his hair move slightly when she went by. It was all stealth. Go Arya!

    The amount of plot armor and fan service in this episode was staggering. No main characters died despite us seeing Jamie, Brienne and others being overwhelmed numerous times. And how the hell did Sam who was on the ground at least 3 times this episode not die? No way in a battle like this should only 5 name characters have died D&D should be ashamed for such terrible writing. And Jon who has fought the army of the dead for almost 8 seasons doesn't get the kill but Arya does even though she probably didn't even know they existed till this season? Lame but i guess it will satisfy all the people who love that girl power nonsense.

    Of COURSE Cersei is the, "Main Boss," at the end, that needs to be defeated to win the, "game."

    And Daenerys has TWO.

      Harish RR i mean it should be obvious from the episode by itself. They weren’t gonna have the most climatic scenes in episode 3 and then have 3 whole other 1 hour episodes of calmness. This episode alone was the longest battle recorded ever, they delivered very emotional scenes with very little dialogue, and there WERE important deaths. But is pretty obvious the most climatic scenes are gonna be with Cersei, and maybe Dany going crazy.

    This episode was amazing! I was so tense.
    Memorable moments to me: Melissandre lighting the weapons of the Dothraki. Greyworm screaming "protect the retreat!" (the Unsullied are incredible). The dead of the little bear, was son sad and heroic! and not only her death, but knowing that House Mormont died with her. Jorah protecting Khaleesi until the end, that man! Theon.. his carachter was a rollercoster of emotions, and in the end, broke my heart to see him die! Arya sneaking in the woods and THE DROP! She's the best. So many increadible moments, so many beautiful and excelent shoots.
    Cheers, you guys! Until the next episode ❤
    I let you with this quote of ASOIAF, that I have always loved and describes exactly Arya in this episode (and always):
    "All that Syrio Forel had taught her went racing through her head. Swift as a deer. Quiet as shadow. Fear cuts deeper than swords. Quick as a snake. Calm as still water. Fear cuts deeper than swords. Strong as a bear. Fierce as a wolverine. Fear cuts deeper than swords. The man who fears losing has already lost."

She went in the god's wood and probably hide in a tree, behind a tree whatever. The white walker only came by the main entrance, they didn't surround bran, Arya know the place and she probably jumped over a wall somehow.

      Didn’t Bran have a vision of the wildfire exploding under the Red Keep before Cersei blew it up? It couldn’t have been an image of the past because the Mad King was stopped before he gave the order. The wildfire used during Blackwater was on the sea.
      That’s the only one I can think of.

    • @klausweasley
      @klausweasley 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      He IS kind of like Doctor Strange. He knew Arya had to have that dagger. He pretty much set up everything to kill the Night King, carefully choosing his words and actions. He was playing 4-D chess with him. Night King got cocky.

    • @keef5
      @keef5 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      klausweasley that’s purely speculation. He knew Arya was best suited to have it because he had seen in the past the silent assassin she had become. He could have been watching with his ravens Arya trying to make it out to the godswood and known his only chance was hoping she had time to get there. There’s no reason to think he actually knew any future events.

    • @joke0291
      @joke0291 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@keef5 actually there is reason to think bran can see the future, and it shouldnt obviously be shutdown or dismissed as quick as your making it seem like it should. He might not be able to completely see the future, but see glimpses of it or flashes of it is definitely possible.
      For instance, it was Bran who gave the catspaw dagger to Arya when she first arrived home in Winterfell. Most fans assumed he was handing it over because he knew of her current skill set as an assassin, and perhaps her plans to kill Cersei. (Killing Cersei with the dagger that started the war between the Starks and the Lannisters would be some poetic justice.) But clearly not. Bran handed her that dagger because he knew she would use it to kill the Night King. It begs the question: Did Bran know she would, or did he know it was one of many possibilities and was doing what he could to set her on the right path?
      Obviously, the ability to see future events is depicted through greenseers in the novels. In the novels, greenseers are those with an innate ability to see images of possible future events or see events that were happening very far away. Jojen had a touch of this, he could see things in dreams. But full greenseers also have a warging component, giving them the ability to control animals, and even sometimes, other people. The warging element is essential, especially when it comes to trees. As fans know, weirwood trees would have faces carved in them, supposedly done by Children of the Forest. But in the novels, it's not the Children, but the greenseers who carve those faces, so they can see through the eyes of the trees. This is how they access the memories and history, and how Bran sees things like Rhaegar's marriage to Lyanna. They married under a weirwood. Their union was witnessed by a tree.
      As for the future, Jojen couldn't see more than a face and a location, but that was enough to direct him to find Bran. Bran is far more powerful than Jojen ever was, and most likely can see more. But he cannot see the whole picture either, he's just better at interpreting the signs. Which is why i said, he might not be able to fully predict future events but he might be able to understand how future events can unfold through signs or glimpses. He probably knew it was a possibility and just tilted events to pave that way of his thought of it actually happening.
