    That noise has been driving me nuts for years. The dealerships could never figure out what’s wrong with it. Thanks so much!!

    I'm replacing this today because the display is out. Looked up a video, and lo and behold my delight at learning this is probably going to fix that rpm correlated static on the radio too!

    OMG finally, there apparently are not enough people with good enough hearing driving Buick Enclaves for me to find this problem searching under the Buick. Only my daughter and I can hear it, everyone else is blissfully unaware. It's disappointing that it will need to be replaced but after 14 years I can be free of it. Thanks!

    Dude, THANK YOU! Mine was very loud and would happen with the radio, blinker, backup alarm, reverse lights and a few other things. I disconnected the rear control and I can still hear a faint whine but it was so loud before, I couldn't hear myself think!

    Thanks for the tips! I was having an extremely annoying high-pitch tone coming from the rear. Instead of replacing the unit first, I pulled it and cleaned all connections with a contact cleaner (I used De-Oxit) and reassembled, the problem is completely resolved. I would try this first before replacing the whole unit!

    Instead of prying that part open with a screwdriver, there are two tabs under the center console you pull up and push towards the back seats.

    Exactly the problem! Thank you for doing this video!! Anything on mirrors not working? Motor makes noise but no movement on either mirror and does not fold in.

    • @c_mac7773
      @c_mac7773 ปีที่แล้ว

      Probably happened at a car wash. With the newer vehicles, you can push them in manually without breaking them but on our vehicles you cannot. Mine were broken at the car wash. They would always ask me to tilt my mirrors in but one day someone just pushed them in and broke them.

    As a temporary fix...Press the "power source" button ON then OFF on the auxiliary rear unit and the annoying "hissssssing" noise goes away...not sure how long it stays that way...🤔

    my questions does everyone have factory head units or after market? I bought my tahoe and who ever owned before me did a crappy job on everything inside of it.

  • @Ron_Presley

    Is this a whining noise that I hear the gets whining faster and louder the more you press the gas pedal? I’m sure the stereo is off though? Sounds like the rear-end or transmission is whining but zero vibration. If I say am going 40 mph and put it in neutral with my foot off the gas I don’t hear the whining anymore. I sure hope it’s this radio instead of my trans or rear-end whining.

    I have an 03 Yukon that does the same thing. Stop when you shut off the rear unit. But then I lose the speakers back there. So do you think I should replace the rear entertainment part?
