Cape Coloured Congress threatening to shut down Cape Town

The Cape Coloured Congress is threatening to shut down the Metro and to disrupt tourism over what it perceives as an inability to deal with gangsterism. In recent weeks, Cape Town has experienced a surge in gang violence. However, Police Oversight and Community Safety MEC Reagan Allen labels the move by the Congress as pure politicking.
