I have to say incredibly amazed the launch worked and the fines of Landing on Fried Rice. Everyone is picking on Splitsie's driving but.... really folks, has everyone forgotten Capac's off mountain driving in Wrong Way Ups first episode lol I still go back and watch him drive off a cliff when I need a laugh.
lol I think people are mistaking fearing my driving for fearing me driving the wrong way :D

I was wondering if maybe the gyros on the truck were actually preventing a faster spin...?
Compromise on the hydrogen:
Use solar or wind to collect and generate H2, manually transport the H2 to your base and then burn it at leisure... You'd still be benefiting from the efficiency bonus but with some transport effort.
I would honestly love it if the devs can add a filter in the control panel to only show current gird devices!
I've faced the same struggle as Splitsie to search for devices on a specific grid!

10:55: The "Profiler" Torch plugin is pretty good at helping isolate what's making a server soupy, you might want to give that a try if you haven't already.

i use a sensor to extend and retract ( sensor trip A. retract now .Trip set B star timer 2-3 sec extend only set to asteroid= all voxel... speed limits low and event at piston 100% sensor off drill off piston retract im not gunna sit there and baby sit the drill for the most part i play solo so automation frees up time for other stuff as long as it works out.

I mean, to really annoy Splitsie, just hide a battery with a soundblock somewhere underground and have a "treasure" hunt!
My Ares at War "Frog" is using a row of empty hydrogen tanks along either side of the vehicle to use as floaties. They seem to provide the best "per block" buoyancy I have found (for small grid at least).
I realize you've already picked an aesthetic for the argus base, but I think you may have missed a chance to continue the theme - why not build the base with a truck stop/rest area vibe? It'd fit with your choice of interstellar vehicle.
Also, will we see a floating version of the catapult to take out that command post? The H2 Generators and engines could be ballast, with extra tanks providing the flotation.
I hadn't thought about making a floating catapult, I'm now very much considering one :D
As to the theme, a truck stop or caravan park could be a fun way to try to do things :P
About the 4hour mark, the thought came to me. Water hauling drone. I don't see to much in logistical issues. A "Dipper" or "Well Bucket"
I wonder how to best do something like that if it has the collectors built into the drone... Could be something shadow might enjoy challenging herself with. I'll try to remember to bring it up :)
