4:09:15 Hey Splitsie I have an idea for your drill rig - it's a combination of your previous design with the hinge but mounted to pistons... So if you do a line of pistons in the center of the bridge (and the center of the hole) that pushes into the mountain and to this piston line mount a hinge that swings horizontally from -90° to +90° and there mount conveyers with a drill in the end that covers a half circle with the diameter of the laterr hole. Then put 5 drills vertically to reach the height... Drilling will be one rotation of the hinge, then push the piston in, then next rotation of the hinge - piston in, and so on... Then you will move in half moon steps into the mountain... Also that could easily be automated if you want... I hope you understood what I ment and I am curious with what solution you will come up with at the end...
I used XP until 2017 when my cable meters required w10 to do updates. EDIT: I had a Dell Dimension 2350 running XP for 11 months hosting an FTP service, forum, teamspeak and ventrilo and a few other things without crashing. I shut it down to rearrange the room and it never turned back on. A cap had blown, unfortunately I was too young at that point to know how to fix it.
I like to use a moving drill on a piston attached with downward facing advanced rotors. The "track" is junction with an advanced rotor head on top and 3x conveyors repeated in the direction of the tunnel. The traveling part is a conveyor with a downward facing advanced rotor, a piston facing forward on the conveyor. Then on the piston head another two junctions, another downward facing advanced rotor. Then build whatever drill head you want. I'm a fan of the back and forth hinge, it's really easy to automate and by adjusting the limits you can vary the tunnel width.
I gotta say, as a native italian hearing you suggesting eating spaghetti with a spoon physically hurt my feelings 😂 also since you were wondering, the correct way to pronounce bruschetta is with an hard "ch", just like you're spelling something with a K, which is in fact always the case in italian, ch is pronounced hard, is not like english :D
I've been playing IR for about 20 hours now. It doesn't indefinitely require moving things between machines; instead think of it as a puzzle to solve. Instead of endlessly managing what goes where: use the conveyor sorters to ensure only the right things can go where they are needed. It is also possible to set production quota's with storage containers. in example you can endlessly make copper wire with a machine that can't output to anywhere but other machines which would also be using them endlessly. Anywho OP may not like IR and that's ok. No pressure, but i'd be interested in more content.
instead of going back over and redesigning the previous blocks that may ruin people's design, why not have a different skinned variant of each of those blocks so it allows people who want to keep the original designs as is, and though who want the newer the option to choose... also a mirrored block would be a great idea... I would really also like them to release aircraft landing gear and tank tracks too which would be awesome for more designs

Heh, the UI rant. I am still on windows 10. I only moved from windows 7 because I had to. And I have, and will continue to run mods that give me things like the start menu without all the tile BS, a proper control panel, etc. I don't mind change, but when you move stuff around and it take me longer to use said new thing, I want no part of that. PS..... and getting rid of (or at least reducing) the forced updates and the tracking, and their AI BS.
i leave my windows PC running 24/7 and most of the time only gets restarted for updates or once i realize that things seem to be acting funny because i havent restarted it recently. i do have updates set to where they do not auto restart my pc as well, so that i can do it when i want and not when it decides to. think the longest ive left it going was a couple of months without a restart.
For a stream, speed modules on assembler first would make a better viewing... power better when you can cut and paste for an episode... I still love the content either way. 😃
I went with the power modules first as we were nearly at the limits of our power, so I could add them, then add speed and get more out of what power we had. What we really should have done but completely forgot to do was connect the truck and just go hard on speed like you said :P
We both have and unfortunately I didn't enjoy it much at all, shadow has had more fun but still found the grind too much once you get a little bit into the game
