My wife, dog, and I have been using the Eight Sleep Pod 3 and Autopilot function for 500 nights in a row. The unit has not had any issues and has been very easy to use. We both noticed improved sleep quality and really like being able to measure things like HRV, heart rate, REM, deep sleep, and overall sleep quality.
Several clients have purchased the Eight Sleep system, and they swear by it now, too. It is not cheap, but it does work.

Does it still function if you don’t pay for the monthly subscription?
Do you have any concerns about your dog on it at any point in the night?
What happens if you stop paying for the subscription? the auto temperature feature and sleep tracking stops working? I imagine you can still use it to set static temperatures at set times? Honestly, my only hang up on this thing is the subscription.

Once every few months. It has been a lot less than I anticipated.

😆 True. I hope we don’t have to pay a subscription on a fridge anytime soon. We do pay electricity on it though.
Perhaps TV would have been a better example. I think most of us pay for some subscription(s) for entertainment.
