On the font side, may be worth discussing the difference between regular fonts and single stroke fonts (which can be really important for engraving).

One of my favorite “hacks” for fusion 360 is the ability to take any surface I want and generate an svg file using the shaper origin plug-in

Heritage Type Co. is a great resource for vintage style, highly ornate fonts and other decorative elements. Their Vintage Font Bundle is worth every penny, plus they have a ton of free stuff, too.
