My mum had a Viva HC from new, XTU 321M. It came to me a few years later and was chopped in against a new Chevette, XBA 879S. Strangely, I don't remember the bonnet release being on the passenger side, nor labelled "Hood". Maybe it was for the Canadian market. Looks look good though, well done.
I wonder if it's because it's a 79 Viva and quite late? It's my first classic Vauxhall, I usually mess with BL products but it's made a nice change, I'm impressed with it.
It’s looking lovely now and such a nice colour, the next owner’s going to get a really sweet little car.
I love watching your effors.
Keep up the good work you couple of car crusaders
Thank you, we'll try! I'm lucky to have a wife that shares my interests and is as mad as me! :)
Very nice, many years ago my family had one of these a 1971 model. As a result I have always liked Vivas.
I really liked it, such a cool little car.
I learned to drive in one of these, it looks great Phil.
I wasn't sure to begin with, but I really like it now. Such a cool little car. We need to figure out catching up soon, it's been way too long!
Those panels will help sound insulation and help keep the car warmer
Certainly look the part and finish it off too!
Nice looking car sure ULEZ area dwellers will be rolling up😊
Never thought of that, is it ULEZ exempt then?
@@peakclassiccars another one advertised says it is
I love this
Thanks! :)

Nearly 5000 views on the eBay listing already.
Mad eh...who know the Viva of all things would be this popular!
Looks great, where did you get the screen seal ?
Thank you! Screen seal was from East Kent Trim Supplies, along with the kick panel trims.
If a car just looks nice it tends to encourage a buyer to spend more money on it psychology and all that
As long it goes to a good home! :)
