Thank you for Seph, I want to truly thank you for peeling back the layers of MJ’s career and him as a human being and finally coming to an understanding of him as a man and as a artist it’s truly amazing to see your journey. I’ve been here since the beginning of your MJ journey and it’s been nothing less than phenomenal, i understood everything you were saying and felt about your statement I can tell you’re were being vulnerable and 1000% genuine w/ us as your subscribers etc. this is probably the best reaction to MJ you’ve ever done simply cause you’re scanned him as an artist & human being and can finally connect w/ him on the level as more than just a reaction-er you’re completely invested into MJ and it’s so nice to see you make it this far remember these days cause it’ll make this journey much sweeter each Era of Michael Jackson is such a special experience within itself you’ll want to go back and relive these moment/memories so please as you’re reacting to everything truly embrace it all cause this only once in a lifetime you get to see MJ’s evolution until you’ve became a full on Moonwalker like myself and others and scraping for rare/unreleased material or footage on MJ. Love ya Seph thank you for coming around and appreciate this one of a kind/Angel named Michael Joseph Jackson🥹🫂🤍✨

Man... this man was the most famous star, had all the money in the world and still all he wanted was his childhood, he was so damaged, spent his life trying to recreate it and make up for his lost childhood, makes you wonder if it was actually worth the pain and suffering, he did not have a childhood at all, working since 5 is not a childhood, and if you know the extent of how his father treated him.. just shows the importance of showing love and affection anf let them be kids and play, which his father never did, you know people will try to justify it in whatever way they want, but NO child should be treated the way he was, there is a letter Michael wrote to Bill Bray, his longtime security guard, saying that his father only saw him as "a way to make money", his words, thanking him for being a father to him, think about it, his security guard was more of a father than his own father ever was... it's sad man, rest in peace Michael, at least he showed and treated his kids with all the love and respect always.

Very sad. I understand people will go around justifying it by saying that’s just how it was back then.. but being forced to work at 5? And facing beatings just because you’re not perfect? Not justifiable, sorry.
While I believe they all enjoyed performing, children need to have time for enjoying their youth.
I was watching an interview and by then Michael was 16. He said they worked 9 months a year and spent the rest mainly writing or recording, so really all working.
Not many people can relate to Michael and his experiences, that’s why not many people can understand him.
But as he said, “No one should judge what I’ve done with my life, not unless they’ve been in my shoes every horrible day and every sleepless night.”

The sign of being a true MJ fan: feeling the urge to protect him and let everyone know he was never the freak the media loved talking about, but instead just a kind soul surrounded by very cruel people. And you're so right for always making it clear that he was childlike, but not childish. He was naive and sweet, but also very bright - you don't become the king of pop by sheer luck or even relying just on your talent. Showbusiness is brutal, and you need to know how to make audiences go crazy over every little thing you do on stage, in short films, etc
HIStory is probably his most personal era. It really is a "masks off" time of his life. Michael showed his vulnerability and empathy, but also his courage and strength. He truly stood up for himself on this album in a way he had never done before, but without ever forgetting his goal of inspiring change in the world. It really makes you respect him even more, not just as an artist but as a person.
If you go back to the Dangerous Era, mainly the bucharest concert which is amazing, I'd also recommend watching the Oprah interview, because it really shows the true Michael and the transition from Dangerous to HIStory. Oprah would turn out to be yet another snake that didn't truly understand or care about him, but their conversation really shows off how smart, kind, funny and charming MJ was. It provides very important context about the Neverland Ranch and how it was much, much more than just Michael's way of experiencing the joy of the childhood he never had -- it was his way of making sure other children wouldn't experience that same pain due to not having the best living conditions, or having severe health issues.
His speech at the Grammy Legend Award in 1993 is also an easy way of understanding Michael and how he was way ahead of everyone regarding lots of social issues. And as a bonus you get to see him and Janet being really cute together.

People who do their research know all of this and there are a lot of ignorant people who believe the made up stories of tabloids . I'm sure better times are ahead ❤️

As a fan it’s like we’ve built a sacred relationship with him.. whether we’ve met him or not, there is just something there. Something so strong that we can’t help but wish we could make the media just stop. Something so strong that we cry with him and for him.
We see him as a beautiful, sweet, gentle, and wise being. Sadly not everyone seems to have that understanding..
I also quite like his interview with Geraldo Rivera in 2005 I think? It was respectful and Michael had such a way with words! He was very much a brilliant man.
Something about him is so captivating as well, once I started looking into him it’s like a fell into this rabbit hole and I’m stuck, but I don’t mind!
I’ve drowned myself in research, which is something I wish others would do.
Once you look past the tabloids a whole different beautiful picture is painted.

Also the repeated theme is to be yourself and you get what you want. Low-key I put it up there with his best work.

this is an on cam testimony of what happens with ppl who get it...who begin to understand. I am in tears bc u feel what we all feel since decades and how unjust it is how they treated him. Especially if we ourselfs did have a terrible childhood and he helped us escape from it with his music and his existance. And they try to take our joy and his joy and turn it into something it never was. His hugs btw were the best. He hugged tightly and understood exactly.

So sad that he even had to make this song asking people to try to understand him :( you can tell it came from his soul, there is a drawing Michael made which was included on the HIStory booklet in 1995, which shows little Michael sitting in s corner like almost hugging himself with a microphone in his hand and next to it he wrote the lyrics: "before you judge me, try hard to love me, look within your heart then ask have you seeh my childhood - MJ" 💔😞

People are so ignorant too. I see so many of them spreading lies and people believe it.
I saw someone say that he was playing a victim and seeking attention and sympathy through that drawing.. they refuse to open their eyes to the pain he truly suffered, I sometimes wonder how they can be so hateful. 💔

“Childhood” ~ Written by Michael Jackson. Produced by Michael Jackson and David Foster. Additional vocals by New York Children's Choir. Recorded in 1994. Released as a double A-side with the single "Scream". "Childhood" is an autobiographical song written and composed by Michael Jackson. Of all the songs he composed, he condidered this his most personal. "If you really want to know about me", he would say in a 2003 interview, "there's a song I wrote, which is the most honest song I've ever wtitten... it's called 'Childhood.' [People] should listen to it [if they want to understand me]. That's the one they should really listen to." "Our personal history begins in childhood", he said "and the song 'Childhood' is a reflection of my life... it's about the pain, some of the joys, some of the dreaming, some of the mental adventures that I took because of the different life that I had in being a child performer. I was born on stage and 'Childhood', it's my mirror - it's my story" The theme of the track is his difficult childhood experiences. If you know anything about Michael Jackson's childhood, it is that he didn't have one. In this song, he is saying "have you seen my childhood?" - he didn't have one, and is constantly trying to make up for it. The poignant lyrics provide insight into his tragic life. Several lines are heartwrenching. In his pleas for understanding, he reveals self-awareness of how his life was peculiar and eccentric due to his attempts to regain his childhood. Thrust into performing and a public life practically since birth, his life really was devoid of a childhood. He was formed, admired, then ridiculed by the media and greater public. The video is set in a forest; Jackson, in scruffy clothes, sings "Childhood" while sitting on a tree stump. The camera moves up the trees into the night sky and flying airships travel overhead. On board the ships, children w/ childhood experiences are seen playing a variety of games as they travel further away from Jackson, towards the Moon. Other children w/ childhood’s appear in the forest undergrowth before floating up towards the airships, but Jackson remains seated on the tree stump ultimately cause he had no childhood. (MJ poured his heart and soul out onto this song and the short film is a masterpiece truly Long Live MJ The Greatest Music Artist To Ever Live The King Of Music You’re Truly Missed My Idol Forever! I truly believe MJ is the most misunderstood human being to ever live he even said it in the song he hung around children cause only they could make him joyful and he compensated with them to gain back the lost of childhood he never had imagine being a superstar the biggest superstar of all time and never getting to stop to smell the roses around you alot of us take our childhood for granted MJ taught me to appreciate mine cause you could have none at all like his self and it’s so hurtful he was made fun of by his own father etc. and then to be ridiculed by the media/tabloid junk for helping children through his humanitarian works the whole universe deserves to give Michael Joseph Jackson a Big Ol Apology! 🙇🏽‍♂️😭👑💖💫)

People forget that he lived in his crazy lifestyle since he was 5 years ago. Not many people can even remember what they did at 5. Michael had to be an adult sooner than he should have. No matter what went on he tried so hard to keep that child like innocence we should all keep.

    • @N0EL-7007
      @N0EL-7007 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

It seems like such a hard life to live. As a child he was said to be like a 40 year old man in a child’s body, then as an adult he’s portrayed as a 10 year old boy in grown mans body.
Which isn’t surprising, considering he spent his childhood having to live as an adult (the constant working, performing at clubs) it’s no wonder he’d feel like he needed to relive his ideal childhood.
There is nothing wrong with wanting to hold onto that innocence and joy, I agree we all need to hold onto it.

This song does hit different, especially after what happened after 1993 with the allegations and stuff. HIStory is an album where Michael strikes back. More angry, more aggressive. This is one of the few calmer songs, but what a masterpiece this song is. There is also a pretty long video on youtube with Michael recording this song. It's beautiful.
But to fully understand where HIStory is coming from, you have to finish the Dangerous era. There are so many videos I can't wait to see your reactions too, like the 1993 Grammys speech by Michael, where he is presented an award by his sister. It's one of the most beautiful speeches he has and in the Dangerous era he opens up more and speaks more about himself and stuff and then the allegations happen. It's just really sad. I’m really late to respond, but hearing what you said at the end really struck something in me and I felt the need to comment.
I feel the exact same as you. I’m a fairly new fan, but I remember being scared because I started enjoying him so much, which led me to basically putting my life on hold in order to research him. I went in thinking he probably did it and came out absolutely shocked. I just can’t believe how he was treated.
I personally have only interacted with the “haters” once. I usually refuse to feed their ego but it’s so hard because once you learn about him you feel as if you have to protect him.. it’s hard to explain but it’s likely because we understand the injustice he faced.
I just want to say to you and any other fan to not let the negativity get to you. Follow the facts, haters will spread misinformation and call you names because they want to feel validated and bring you down, but you can’t let them. I just remind myself that if they spend so much time trashing a man and his fans they probably don’t have a life. 😅🤷🏼‍♀️
I personally have to say being a Michael Jackson fan is the best thing, but can also be the worst. He brings me so much joy and has made me a better person, but having to deal with what people say can have such a bad effect on you mentally. The best we can do is just continue to spread love to our community, follow the facts, and stay strong.

Being 21, I just started discovering Michael a few days ago. I mean... I've been knowing him for as long as I can remeber, as long as I've been conscious, like everyone else, but I never took the time to really search on his career and discover his story and who MJ really is, I didn't even know about all the allegations that were against him, didn't know about his childhood, i didn't know about Jackson 5, didn't know he had children...
Once, by chance, while scrolling on instagram reels, I came across three consecutive funny videos about him, as if it was a sign, and there I realized that I only knew his name as a brand "Michael Jackson" the sound of his biggest hits and his dance moves that everyone imitates, nothing more. There, I understood that I needed to search about this man.
I went on you tube, and watched the first video, then the second, the third, the fourth, the fifth, and didn't stop for 3 consecutive days, and each one of the videos was longer than the previous, and each one on a specific aspect of his life. They were all pretty long videos that I'd normally never watch in a normal context, but I didn't even feel the length.
So video after video, I found myself extremely and unconsciousely attached to this man, Michael Jackson, I litterally fell in love with the person he was, the artist, he was, and felt a deep pain for every single trouble he faced during his life. Idk why, but as soon as I found out about all the allegations against him, I didn't believe a single word of them, as if I've been knowing him personally for my whole life. And I still can't understand people who think he really did the stuff he was accused of. Without talking about the pressure media exercised on him, and the infinite critics on his physical evolution, and btw I find him extremely handsome in all his looks, and cute, I loved his shyness, his purety, his way of behaving, his politeness, his STUNNING SMILE, Idk I just loved the globality of this man, I realized that I'm in love with Michael Jackson. Now I feel sorry for not having known him earlier, when he was still alive, considering that I was born in 2002, and now I just feel the need and the necessity to protect him from every single person who talks bullshit about him. The only explanation that I can give to people who still think he's "a weird criminal", is they FOR SURE didn't take a second to get to know him, bcoz it's impossible to know Michael and not love him, it's impossible to know MJ and don't feel the urge to protect his child-like soul, and his pure heart.
I'm glad and proud that I never ever judged him in my whole life before doing any research, and never followed any of the bullshit that was spoken about him, but I really wished and hoped from the deepest bottom of my heart that he was still alive, just to show him and give him the love he deserves to receive, and make him understand that he is really the great and beautiful person he didn't know he was inside and out.
I hope your soul is peaceful, and I'm sending you tons of love and respect Michael, know that even after you're gone you gained a new fan, fan of you as a person before anything else.
    Love you Michael Jackson.
    Goodbye 🤍

I had pretty much the same experience. I always liked his music but at the same time I believed he was weird and guilty.. I was actually scared of him as a child.
It wasn’t until I started finding videos on him like stage fails and stuff that I felt sucked in. I knew about the allegation but only to a certain extent, I eventually started digging into those as well and it changed a lot of my views. I never realized how the media was so terrible to this man, but looking back it was nothing short of bullying.
There’s something so special about Michael.. it’s like despite him being in a way such a mystery he’s so easy to connect to you know? I’ve never felt so emotional towards a person I never met, but then when I started researching him it was so hard I cried every time he was mentioned because I felt so emotionally connected! It was like I could feel his pain and wanted nothing more than to help, but then you just have to accept that what’s done is what’s done and sadly we can’t see him.
As sad as him being gone truly is, I’m just relieved that he’s at peace and no longer has to witness the BS and go through the pain just because some people are too ignorant to actually judge him fairly.

Omg Seph I think this might be your most beautiful and emotional reaction to Michael so far! Thank you for understanding him ❤ this song and video is so heartfelt and sad especially the last part.....he is left behind because he isn't a child...as his time is past... so sad :( his most emotional song, in an interview he said this song was the most honest and autobiographical song he ever wrote, and that this was the song people should listen to if they really wanted to know him, the sadness in his eyes in this video kills me 😢 you are so right, people say neverland was weird but if they had gone through what he went through and had the money space and opportunity to create the world of their dreams I bet they would do the same thing, and great point you made, there are many people who have that childlike spirit and playfullness but they're not on the spotlight with millions of people watching their every move, and you're right he wasn't childish, he was very inteligent and a genius in his field which was music and a very good business man which was what he learned since he was a child, but they never gave him any time to be what he actually was, a child. He was just a beautiful soul with the heart of a child and unfortuntaly quite naive when it came to the kind of people that was around him, a little too nice, he always wanted to see the good in everybody, I wish I could protect him, his mother said the one thing she regretted was not having prepared her children for the world because the world is evil 😢😢

I feel for Michael, his childhood was tragic, even his death was tragic.. Michael grew up too fast and had to be an adult and do adult things as a child, he never played, I feel like he felt like innocence and the innocence and beauty of childhood was taken from him so as he grew up he wanted to get that back, in the simple things, and children and animals gave him that, in fact he said that often, that he learned a lot from children, they are open and honest, no judgment, he wanted to be in that pure good energy, with no pressures from the adult world

It's very true what you said Seph and also Michael liked fantasy magic, cartoons and Mickey Mouse, most adults his age are not into that anymore, kids loved the things he loved so who else he would enjoy these things with? That is why he could relate to them, but he invited families to Neverland as well, he did have adult friends as well but most of them betrayed him or used him in some way so he couldn't trust them, children didn't care about his celebrity, his fame or his money they just wanted to play and have fun, poor Michael I wish there wasn't so many backstabbers in his life.. he looks so cute with this hairstyle ❤

The funny thing is, other famous people would just get wasted, go to bars, doing drugs, etc as their happiness.. And its never going to be a headline in the news. Thing is people are judging him for being childlike & twisting it to make it weird but there’s millions of adults who love video games, comic books, superheroes, animation & cartoons, disney, musicals, rollercoasters and theme park rides etc and do that stuff all the time & collect that stuff regularly and it’s seen as normal if a bit nerdy or perhaps girly (Disney), yet Michael does it and it’s a big issue. You can’t win. He got older and decided to indulge and unapologetically do all the things he missed out on, that he knows he enjoys you can’t really argue with that plus he was so famous it wasn’t really feasible to do so outside with the public on a regular basis so he just built his own park instead of having to shut down major attractions constantly with his presence.

It was somewhat his 'respond' to the allegations that destroyed his so deeply and his public image. I believe when the first allegations was made public, some news channel did a survey of the people, and about 70% of all the people they asked believed he did it. Without no proof, without nothing. That crashed him

I feel you man, unfortunately I also believed the things they said about him specifically about the allegations, especially after a certain "documentary" came out, I liked a few of his songs but didn't really know nothing about him, it just sounded convincing but then I watched a video on all the inconsistencies and lies and I decided to do my own research look up all the facts and form my own opinion and I'm glad I did, after everything I watched, court transcripts, documentaries about the cases and him in general, etc, I became more and more interested in knowing things about his life, I admire him a lot, it is horrible what they made this man go through, seems like the guy could never catch a break he suffered since he was a child and they always found something to criticize or mock him for, he suffered terrible injustice, meanwhile he gave 45 years out of his 50 years on this earth just to entertain the world and had a beautiful genuine good heart and all he wanted to do was help people and this is how the world repayed him, some of the rumors were ridiculous but to be accused of such horrible acts to children while being innocent and being portrayed as a monster and people believing it I just can not imagine that, it's the worst thing they could ever do, then when he died they started praising him again, and to think that some people still believe it to this day even though he was found not guilty by a jury on all 14 counts including 4 misdemeanors which they couldn't even get him on and refuse to do the research even though now it's all available they just will believe whatever they want to believe, it just makes me very mad, I hope he is finally at peace now, anyway sorry for the rant lol this was a great video!

Well said! Thank you. I like what Michael's older brother Marlon said at the memorial: "We would never ever understand what he endured. Not being able to walk across the street without a crowd gathering around him. Being judged, ridiculed, how much pain can one take? Maybe now Michael they will leave you alone."

Hope that his biopic coming april 18th 2025 will help another generation (just like you, Seph) of young music lovers to help them know Michael Jackson's personality & musical catalog (all of it).
Michael deserves the respect of young consumers who hear their music on digital platforms.
    ❤️‍🔥❤️❤️‍🔥

You are so nice. Your reactions come from the heart, I love that. Maybe you could react to Michael's film "Ghost". You will totally freak out. Best wishes from Germany. ❤
