Fun Fact: Princess Diana was a huge fan of MJ. In 1988, when she went to his Wembley Stadium Show, she asked him if he would perform "Dirty Diana" at his London concert. It was her favorite song. 😄
'When Michael was interviewed by Barbara Walters, he explained: "I wrote a song called 'Dirty Diana.' It was not about Lady Diana. It was about a certain kind of girls that hang around concerts or clubs, you know, they call them groupies. I've lived with that all my life. These girls... they do everything with the band, you know, everything you could imagine."'

The world's best musician and dancer Michael Jackson. His style of dancing and singing music never seems childish. He always sang music in deep voice, so his songs are hit and catchy. Moreover he always wrote teachable music. He was the only person in the world who performed dance-music together in front of live audience. May her soul rest in peace 🇧🇩
In my eyes... MJ would have a lot of great songs, but this is on top for me! MJ`s kneeling scene reminds me of Dave Gahan on RUSH live in 1993. Did he copy? btw, in the middle of the song, MJ almost crying, and then the powerful guitar attack... Timeless - good. (EATHSONG (LIVE) was my second favorite.) Seth, it´s banger! @@for-house-stark Absolutely, it’s among my favourites! I’ve been looking forward to Seph’s reaction to it, and it went exactly as I thought it would! Some others that I’m really excited for are Earth Song, Give In To Me, Come Together, Man in The Mirror, Will You Be There, Gone Too Soon, Blood On The Dancefloor, Unbreakable, and You Rock My World among others! I wish he could do lil MJ songs too as he had so many incredible hits when he was young!
Michael was very spontaneous in this, very electrifying I loved your reaction, love these Michael Jackson reactions especially knowing that Michael Jackson's Birthday is right around the corner
Michael had a lot of dark moments growing up and since his family was very religious, he grew up seeing his dad/brothers doing the opposite. People are so eager to sell themselves for fame. He even told a groupie to not go back stage with his brother because she’ll came back disappointed from being used, which is normal thing in the industry. He sensitive to wicked behavior, which is one reason people thought he was gay in his youth because he was shy.
In the bad era sometimes when Micheal spins he drops down and lands on his knees. He does that on his bad tour when he performs the song, man in the mirror. He would also do the same thing when he performs dirty Diana in the bad tour too. When he spins and drops down and lands on his knees, it doesn’t hurt. He just gets used to it
Watching rn, and yes this song is on a whole different level, like you can feel the music. Its like you feel the guitar you feel the emotion Michaels expressing and the VOCALS , Michael had the perfect voice for rock. And this is a clear example right here!!!!!! This is in my top 10 songs by Michael EVER😅 LET ALONE TOP 20 EVER!!!!
Michael actually did hurt himself while dancing, on numerous occasions, but in this specifically. The director Joe Dytka (who did The Way You Make Me Feel) said towards the end of the video there was supposed to this huge storm, which is why at the start there's wind, the storm was supposed to progressively build throughout the performance. But Michael Injured his knees and stuff from slamming on the ground so he was unable or didn't want to film anymore so they just scrapped the storm idea
In the Bad Album, MJ had shed his shy bubblegum image. I believe this song marks the time in his adult life when he actually experienced the hurt and pain of loving and lost. I don't think the lyrics of the song were really written about Diana Ross but I guess feeling rejected by her, the song evolved and became about her. There are some video clips titled 'When Michael Jackson got Jealous ', which showed his facial expressions when onstage with Diana Ross during the 1986 AMA awards. This occurred a few months after her marriage and the hurt in his eyes was plain to see. In past live performances with Diana, there seemed to be quite a spark in MJ and he was always flirtatious with her. The fact that MJ named Diana in his children's custody shows that he still respected and valued her as a close trustworthy friend. There is a 'Diana Ross Special (1971) skit', where a 13 year old MJ acted as Diana's beau. Great reaction as usual 😊 th-cam.com/users/shorts7vbx14lcty4?si=TJttDyQFMK7lZpxk I have read where he and Lady Diana became good phone buddies. They connected because they both felt they were part of a love triangle.
@@SephPlays MJ appeared effeminate so the tabloids portrayed as being gay. His feelings towards Diana Ross was viewed as a publicity stunt to stop the rumours. I think his eyes don't lie.
Love the expressions on your face the first few seconds when he start singing, priceless!! I so wished you were around that time to see him live in concert!!!
Fun fact Michael met princess Diana once and she asked him "Are you going to do dirty Diana tonight?" Michael said "I was going to but when I knew you would be here I took it out of the show out of respect " And princess Diana said "What? It's my favorite song of yours" 😂
Here I am, once again, with my comment about Diana Ross lol So as others have mentioned, Michael did say this song was about groupies, which absolutely makes sense. The constant temptation while touring would be really hard on any relationship, or any person. So I accept that storyline and it works. However, lol... As always, I strongly think this song is actually about Diana Ross. Firstly, the name. He was in love with Diana for years and was heartbroken around the time he was writing this. Imagine writing a song about groupies and/or prostitutes and naming it after the woman who just broke your heart and NOT having it be about her. I mean, c'mon. But more importantly, I presume that this song is about Michael's perception of Diana, feeling used by her, finding her manipulative, etc. In fact, I think the storyline of this song aligns with the storyline of Leave Me Alone (lyrically... the short film is its own thing). In DD I see Michael so frustrated by this woman who he is trying to resist, trying to get away from, who he knows is bad for him, but who he gives into even when he has a "baby at home who's probably worried tonight." That's why I think he cries at different points. That's where I think the passion and rage comes from. It's not just resisting hot sex from a groupie. It's resisting a woman who relentlessly uses men, and who has used him before.
Waooo, your comment about Diana Ross really make you think, I mean I don’t think he is going to said in an interview that the song was about Diana Ross or anyone else in such case. And yes, the narrative about the groupies also makes sense at the same time. But the passion and the anger he expressed in this song is huge.
This is one of my absolute favorites from Michael! It was written and composed by him and obviously reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. In this song you can see that Michael vocals showcase his versality as he adapts his singing style to the rock genre (in "Beat It" too but in this one more). This song talks about groupies (basically yes, they are basically prostitutes lol), more specifically it's about a seductive and manipulative girl called Diana (not the princess, fun fact is this was her favorite song haha) who is persuing Michael's attention. It addresses themes of fame, obsession, and the negative impact of fame on personal relationships. The guitar solo is performed by Steve Stevens. About the video, this is not a real concert (I actually dont remember if its a combination of multiple concerts from the Bad Tour but I don't think so). It was directed by Joe Pytka, the same as "The Way You Make Me Feel". This is a taste of what Michael's concerts will be like. Now all you have to do is react to the official video of "Man In The Mirror" and then you can watch the movie. Love your videos🔥
Thanks for this reaction. Love it. My favorite song. No this wasn't concert it's just music video official. Actually in real life Michael didn't like groupies.
This was about Diana Ross. he got the toe thing from Elvis go look at Jailhouse rock the black and white version Mike got a lot of his moves from watching Elvis MJ was a huge fan of Elvis. Mike was an awesome entertainer i loved to watch him dance. R.I.P. Sweetheart.
In that part where u hear Micheal crying. He’s not really crying he sometimes acts that he’s sad and crying when he’s slowly gets down on the floor on his knees
Whenever I miss my loved ones and pets too much that have passed away, I go to Dimash Ave Maria... This song makes me feel like I'm right there with them. Just four notes. Who was more entertaining: Seph’s reaction or MJ? Lol! Someone already said it: a groupie. Diana must have been some hot, alluring woman! This song had a very different feel from what we know MJ’s style to be. He took it very rock ‘n roll and a little dark…oooh!

This song was princess diana favorite song ... One of the best songs ever .. it actually need a high vocal ability and breath many tried to sing this song and no one could after him .. diana is the type of girls who come after the superstars trying have sex with them Michael suffered from that type of girls through his career.. the audience was real not fake at all in short live performance at Madison square garden before bad tour .. when you watch man in the mirror Moonwalker version its an actual performance from bad tour in the video you will start watching the fainting and crying fans i told you about 😂 btw seph i noticed you watch Many Elvis Presley songs .. here is a fun fact for you .. No it was not a concert. It was produced as a short film and the filming took place in Long Beach in March 1988. The Model who acted as Diana was Lisa Dean known for commercials for Levi‘s 501.
Super great reaction seph ❤❤ i love it , first of all i like this new technique of masking the video keep it it's amazing It's one of the best storytelling song i have ever heard (written by Michael ) For your answer he said that this song about groupies which are certain kind of girls who running after the stars to become famous i guess as he lived that life with his brothers , but the people at that time linked the song with diana ross as the name of the song is ( dirty Diana) because Michael was angry with her as she broke his heart and married another man . He even cancelled his invitation to her marriage at the last time .... I don't know Tell me what u think the better reason ???
@@SephPlays i thought u will think because of the name of the song So tell me according to all the song u reacted to Michael till now which one is your favourite? U can pick more than one BTW ...
Baby be mine is probably the one i have played the most to be fair. But thriller, beat it, dirty diana, billie jean have all been massssiiiveee play backs as well haha, Thriller though is the one i have played the least "i think i have heard it tooooooo many times at this point"
Fantastic song. Glad you enjoyed! The song is officially a general song about a groupie. Fan theory is that he wrote it with Diana Ross in mind an changed it to a groupie song later. He's on record saying he loved Diana Ross and thought he was with her and saying he wanted to marry her and that it took him years "a hell of a long time" to get over her. There are a whole lot of songs of his that could be about her, but this one bearing the name Diana is definitely on the list of probable ones. The guitarist is Steve Stevens who was also Billy Idols guitarist. I believe the sillouetted woman playing "Diana" is Sheryl Crow who was a back up singer on the Bad tour and sang Siedah Garrett's parts in "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" live.
@@esraa-elgezawy2001 I've listened watched and read so much about Michael Jackson. Yes the private phone calls with Glenda Stein is part of where I got that but also interviews from the 70's and 80's.
Oh it actually remind me, on a private tape he talked about one time when one of his ex girlfriends held his hand and he said it was so magical and better than anything, and then he said "but young people today don't care about the simple things" aww, I mean he isn't wrong though
"What kind of woman is this' hahah 😂 Michael said it's about groupies those girls who do way too much backstage and stuff to try to get them, it might be in his book but Michael said once he liked women who had class, not those who were too aggressive or provocative, he hated vulgarity and was shy haha, unlike his brothers
He’s singing about groupies. Which is basically the type of girls who will hang around backstage at artist and bands concerts in order to have sexual relations with them.
@@SephPlaysits the meaning Michael gave, but it definitely can have a double meaning because not all the lyrics match up with that theory. Just like with some of his other songs an artist can give one meaning, and there could be 4 more that follow🤔
Seph, me and another guy (actually a girl) here have decided a thing, dont react to the Victory Tour. The thing is we want you to react to some performances for the first time in the Bad Tour and we think that watching them in the Victory Tour would ruin it. Thank you🔥

@@AlexSR__ i saw it , but i have 2 notes so tell them to seph as the guy doesn't listen to me I don't know why 😂 1) man in the mirror it's the first song in the moonwalker movie so he shouldn't react to before the movie 2) i prefer if he skip the victory tour even thriller songs as there are some similarities in the performances between victory tour and the bad tour and of course bad is better version so i have 2 plans: - he skip all the victory tour and start the bad tour according to the list - he just react to the Jacksons songs of victory tour and leave thriller and of the wall songs to the bad tour ( i want him to react to Billie jean for the 1st time in bad tour and also human nature, u wanna be starting something and so on to shock him ☺️)

Love your video 💕💕 Can't wait for your reaction to "Man In the Mirror" 💗
When you do man in the mirror it's imperative that is the moonwalker version. It's generally agreed it's by far the best version.
There's no subtitles on that version though and the lyrics are very important in that song.
@@RITWINS they're perfectly clear to understand
@@ayaanbretmitchell9830 It's such a big song, he could do both...
@@RITWINS But the moonwalker version hits harder cos of the passion of the fans etc and cos you see MJ.
@@ayaanbretmitchell9830 Yeah I know what you mean.
That toestand while doing that whole body wave is so insanely cool
Michael é o maior artista da história 👑 ✌🏻
you should go back and watch the another part of me music video!
Mj Said in a Barbra Walters interview and a ebony jet interview Diana is a groupie
Super great reaction seph ❤❤ i love it , first of all i like this new technique of masking the video keep it it's amazing
It's one of the best storytelling song i have ever heard (written by Michael )
For your answer he said that this song about groupies which are certain kind of girls who running after the stars to become famous i guess as he lived that life with his brothers , but the people at that time linked the song with diana ross as the name of the song is ( dirty Diana) because Michael was angry with her as she broke his heart and married another man . He even cancelled his invitation to her marriage at the last time .... I don't know
Tell me what u think the better reason ???
Wow would have never guessed this was about her!!
@@SephPlays i thought u will think because of the name of the song
So tell me according to all the song u reacted to Michael till now which one is your favourite?
U listened to Michael's private phone call
@@esraa-elgezawy2001 I've listened watched and read so much about Michael Jackson. Yes the private phone calls with Glenda Stein is part of where I got that but also interviews from the 70's and 80's.
@@roseclarity1493 I knew it from the part " a hell of a long time " .
This wasn’t a real concert it’s just a music video
Oh it actually remind me, on a private tape he talked about one time when one of his ex girlfriends held his hand and he said it was so magical and better than anything, and then he said "but young people today don't care about the simple things" aww, I mean he isn't wrong though
Fun fact... it's Sheryl Crow's legs you see at the end of The Dirty Diana video when he opens the car door
These crazy dirty groupies man! I'm sure he had to deal with a lot of those throughout his life lol
❤❤❤❤🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
"What kind of woman is this' hahah 😂 Michael said it's about groupies those girls who do way too much backstage and stuff to try to get them, it might be in his book but Michael said once he liked women who had class, not those who were too aggressive or provocative, he hated vulgarity and was shy haha, unlike his brothers
❤your reaction
He’s singing about groupies. Which is basically the type of girls who will hang around backstage at artist and bands concerts in order to have sexual relations with them.
AHHHHH!! Ok! Is this the official meaning or just a fan theory?
@@SephPlaysit’s the official meaning, he’s also talked about it in a interview.
@@SephPlaysits the meaning Michael gave, but it definitely can have a double meaning because not all the lyrics match up with that theory. Just like with some of his other songs an artist can give one meaning, and there could be 4 more that follow🤔
@@jay-tc7weI'm interested to see the different meanings or different interpretations you think dirty diana has. Tell me
@@for-house-stark Oo ofc! I have about three!!
This is the greatest Heavy metal ever produced
Diana I think was a fan that was out of control. Yes, not Lady Diana. She did like the song though.
Seph, me and another guy (actually a girl) here have decided a thing, dont react to the Victory Tour. The thing is we want you to react to some performances for the first time in the Bad Tour and we think that watching them in the Victory Tour would ruin it. Thank you🔥
You can react to it in the future but we prefer that you don't watch it yet
Ok! Ill take it off my list 📃😉
@@SephPlays Thank you🔥 Also remember to close your eyes or look away from 1:40 to 1:48 in the Beyonce tribute video
@@AlexSR__ 😂😂😂 i knew u will ask him that lol.
@@esraa-elgezawy2001 Hahaha, I just don't want him to see that thing we know yet lol
where is your reaction to man in the mirror i Mean man in the mirror on the album comes before i just can't stop loving you i'm just asking because i'm curious ❤
I haven't reacted to it yet. But it's on my list :D
okay thank you that is all i wanted to know
She's a groupie :)
Diana is a groupie.
The song is about groupies
please react to smooth criminal, all mj's fans are agree that its the best michael jackson's video
It’s my favorite! The long version of course 🙌🏾
Mishael king of pop👍👍👍👍👍💞💞💞💞💞
Please react to Michael Jackson’s 1988 Moonwalker Film uploaded by mjcontent1
Slash was on the guitar.
No he wasn't
He's taking about a groupie
It's about a groupie
Sweetheart, Diana's a groupie 🤷🏾♀️ -x-
You are very off. Tons of women would be like that. And especially for a star like MJ. Millions 😅😊
Dirty Diana aka a groupie.
Hello Seph:
Is it possible to react to M.J.,
"The Price of Fame"?
Please react to smooth criminal official video next
He's gonna watch it directly from the movie "Moonwalker"
Well he should still react to the official video..
@@shantoyacobourne5368 bro its the same exact video but longer, why should he watch it twice?
Are u gonna react to smooth criminal these days or u gonna react to it in moonwalker movie?
Esraa check the conversation between me and Seph in the Another Part Of Me reaction
@@AlexSR__ so captain EO first , thanks alex
I missed that conversation, i was studying 🩺🥼
@@esraa-elgezawy2001 Nono i mean the other one with 30 replies
@@AlexSR__ i saw it , but i have 2 notes so tell them to seph as the guy doesn't listen to me I don't know why 😂
1) man in the mirror it's the first song in the moonwalker movie so he shouldn't react to before the movie
2) i prefer if he skip the victory tour even thriller songs as there are some similarities in the performances between victory tour and the bad tour and of course bad is better version so i have 2 plans:
- he skip all the victory tour and start the bad tour according to the list
- he just react to the Jacksons songs of victory tour and leave thriller and of the wall songs to the bad tour ( i want him to react to Billie jean for the 1st time in bad tour and also human nature, u wanna be starting something and so on to shock him ☺️)
🥵🔥🔥🔥🔥
Have u never heard of groupie? and he's cryin cos the knee hurt
Groupie isn't an expression you hear in modern music right?
@@SephPlays haha guess just me gettin old.
