      I had neuropathy in my feet and had a lot of pain walking. Carnivore, IF, and short walks throughout the day cured it. Every hour or so try going on a 5 minute walk. If you can't do 5 minutes go as long as you can and work your way up. I now go on 10 mile hikes and run every day.

    2 days ago I had a total shock! It" been 0ver 5 months since I watched your video on skin tags. I had no hope of any future. My doctors gave no reason for my suffering. Thousands each year on medical costs. My shock is 2 days ago I carried a 50 pound bag of onions down stairs to the basement. Wow that was really heavy. The reality is that I have this year lost 52 pounds. 52 pounds I have been carrying constantly. I can now run and jump. The money I was spending on doctors pays for the rib eyes . @Ali I keep it low carb made of eggs, steak, seafoods etc. At least once a week I 'll have a primarily vegetarian meal of sweet potatoes, mushrooms and the like. A few berries in there. Admittedly nachos still curse me with weakness now and again but then anything done too rigidly is not sustainable long term. One has to be somewhat flexible. Once I got to the point my metabolism easily switched its been a breeze. Since the pandemic , like so many, exercise has been much reduced. I have not gained a pound. One more lie my Doctor told me. Calories in, calories out. If that were so, then I should have gained at least thirty pounds over the last six months. Did not happen. HIIT workouts (when my gym reopens) consist of primarily an elliptical trainer as my knees are a bit wonky, But really any exercise can be done with this method. Push to the very maximum, then rest, repeat as soon as capable for twenty minutes does the trick for me. Only two to three times a week.

    • @jmullins2008
      @jmullins2008 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Ali No, I try to minimize or even eliminate them most days. I find my HIIT workouts even better on keto and carni OMAD. I think it may depend on how long you have been on this form of dietary method. It did take me many months to adapt fully and get that metabolic switching to give me essentially unlimited energy. I often do my HIIT at the end of my twenty four hour fast. Don't know if that helps, but I wish you the best on this journey. Dr. B has got it right.

Just started back on keto after having my sugar drop to 68 the other day after 2 hours of not eating carbs. Had blood work done, total cholesterol at 199, triglycerides at 98, HDL at 41, LDL calculated at 138, non HDL-C calculated at 158. Doc told me to follow low fat diet and come back in 6 months. Politely declined, told him I’ll follow ketogenic and come back In 6 months to check where I’m at.

      Just use water, 5 to 10 grams of creatinine daily, it's flavorless. Weightlifters that think they need to mix creatinine with carbs carbs and main stream recommends doing the same so it gets in the muscles. I would not recommend taking it with sugar. There's a ton of research about creatinine online. It's great for the brain too. I'm carnivore, so I get plenty in my food sources.

  • @alewicke
    @alewicke 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I've been taking Alpha GPC (Alpha Glycerylphosphorylcholine) for many years. It's a releasing factor for HGH. Without a releasing factor, you can have all the HGH in the world and it won't help you. Apparently it works because at 54 my boss was treating me like I'd just gotten out of college. When he heard how old I was, his jaw literally dropped. My husband was 5 years older than me and people would ask if he were my father. It also helped my vision and now, at 64, I still have no sign of presbyopia or any other vision problems. Vision was the reason I started taking it. When driving to pick up my husband after late shifts, highway signs looked like four signs with a black bar across the bottom. Two days after I started taking Alpha GPC, there was one sign with a dark line on the bottom. A few days later, there was one sign and it's been like that ever since. There are other releasing factors but, this is what I've used for the last 15 years or so.

    I do burst/sprint training. All out with a near full recovery rest. This works..... I use an elliptical machine. My research led me to to follow a 15 second burst (Full Out effort not 80% or 90%, but full on, as in I've got nothing left) followed by a 1 min 45 sec recovery ( luxuriously slow). At 67, I’ve lost 8 additional lbs all around my midsection (it appears to be a loss of my visceral fat I've had since a kid) and can now see, as does my wife, 6 pack abs. She has said numerous times that she has never seen my body look like it does now. I perform 8 rounds, approx 12 min, 3 times per week for just under 2 months. Super effective.
    I disagree with the good Doc. 3-5 minutes can not be sustained at 100%. Just can't. but 15 seconds can..... absolutely. Give it a try for 60 days

      Looking to get jacked and swole? Testosterone will do that 1000x better than HGH in supraphysiological amounts of course. In fact HGH when tested alone even in supraphysiological directly injected amounts did very little to increase muscle mass. It increased lean tissue mass which was connective tissue and water but did very little for muscle itself. When HGH does seem to have a synergistic effect with INJECTED INSULIN "yes the hormone that is supposedly the devil according to this channel." To build more muscle mass. Of course these are all in supraphysiological amounts. Trying to increase any of these enough "Naturally" will do little to nothing tangible. If you are looking to get "jacked and swole" this is one of the worst channels for advice I can think of.

    Starting Keto at 70. Interesting. Love the intermittent fasting, too. I find it easy to skip breakfast. My problem is at the other end of the schedule. But there are always solutions. I like the idea that the body can kick in higher quality self-healing. Experimenting with miracles, too. Spiritual action is so fascinating, but several magnitudes more difficult, especially on anything ego deems as "important." Unlike the physical laws, more effort in the mental and spiritual actually works against producing results. Empirical evidence rocks!

My degree is in Marketing, so if I could return the favor of your research and training benefits to me: You should offer us THE TRUTH of your research rather than your "next bright idea." You will take that to the bank if you can overcome that quaint habit...which I could compare to my learning to fast and avoid the various forms of sugar that I did not know about before I heard you list them. Thank you for a good video! Only thing I'm wondering, is that I've read from other sources that when you're aiming to build muscle, it would be a good idea to take a slow-digesting protein such as Casein before bed time. But that would obviously negate the intermittent fasting. So I'm wondering which approach would be optimal for muscle growth. Considering your training and daily diet otherwise stays the same.

    Hi Dr. Berry. I absolutely love your videos. I was wondering if you could do a video on the keto rash. I started the keto diet to loose weight and become healthy, and I got a horrible rash a month in that kept reoccurring. I switched to carnivore hoping that would solve the problem but it did not. I am currently still on the carnivore diet and feeling AMAZING but I still have this reoccurring keto rash. How can I stop/prevent this??

    Extended fasting of up to 7 days has huge benefits with this hormone. This is with drinking water. Sauna is also very helpful for human growth hormones.
    Protocol: 30 minutes in 172-200 Fahrenheit 5 minute break and 30 more minutes. Wait a few hours and repeat. Cold exposure (cold shower) during the 5 minutes is good . Every 7 days. Huberman lab has this protocol. Don’t remember the link. Also remember that it has more increase if fasting for at least 3 hours upon entering. Keep hydrated!

      @@ScottResnickMD That's my point , if you read and listen to the information presented it's given in a general manner. For instance, phrases like, " this may help you ". Each person's physiology is different , so in order to correlate any test results to obtain an accurate treatment . General information may mistreat a patient. Therefore , instead of only presenting study results, it might be more informative to tell people how to find out if they need to worry about the content presented. Since, what you consume , sleeping , and workout are key factors, but the major factor is genetics ,and a good diet may not be enough. Testing is something to mention ............
