The same thing happened with my male salvini when i introduced him to my existing community. He just went straight for my dominant heterospila and later on claimed his dominance putting the male heterospila below him 😅
I would say "on the contrary!" If you want to add deppi now is the best time when...the Alpha male Carpintis is guarding eggs. He will (or should at least ) remain the Alpha in the tank and you have more chance of harmony.
Absolutely stunning
Thanks man
Before I watch!!! Beautiful!!!!!
Thank you so much 🙏
Absolutely what you do is just amazing keep it up!!!
For the love of the hobby 🤜🤛
A stunning fish, and plenty of fry.
Beautifull fish.
Thx Dennis
Wow, good luck! Both species are beautiful.
Thank you Mia
Beautiful Species (new to me) Thanks for sharing and best of luck :)
You're welcome Jesse. Excited to see how they do with the carpintis

Damn lol
I've never seen these before but I was in the hobby for a while. Your tank looks stressful. Every fish is on high alert..
Yes, cichlids are aggressive. Stressful but alot less stressful than if there were fewer 🙏🏼

I appreciate your feedback and see your point.
What type of gravel do you use?
Neutral color mostly, medium
Where do u get those breeding pots?
I get my pots from home depot, craigslist, plant nursery shops and Amazon
@@thecichliddojo4245 thanks!!
Deppi with carpintis is not good in the same tank
Becareful for the deppi
And deppi is lost important for me
What is the reason you think it's "no good"?
@@thecichliddojo4245 the deppi is risk to lose because the carpintis is most strong and dangerous
The deppi is most difficult to try in tank
Ok I'll definitely keep an eye on that. From what I've seen so far the Deppi is much more aggressive than all of the carpintis.
@@thecichliddojo4245 ok
