I’m going to be the unpopular opinion here but even if this an advertisement this is amazing. Imagine losing your sight. This device helps to give her back her independence. I cannot imagine losing my sight like this. She didn’t let it stop her though. We should actually all give her a round of applause 👏🏻 for staying strong.
I have MS and i was blind for 6 months. If i find something help me a little, i dont care how much cost, when your health knocks on the doot and you need a little help to be independent, any word out van help a child or adult it is a huge help. Not only money motivation.
I went to an orcam demonstration in AZ for my 16 you loss her sight. I asked for help from the city and state and NO ONE helped not even the women who demonstrated it. There no funding i was told she loss her sight through no fault if her own and no funding wow how sad when she needs a device like this why cant my daughter get any help from anyone but of course we canf afford this so we would be ignored, my daughter needs it for school but the cost is expensive and you mean to tell me no one can give me straight answers to give my daughter as to why she isnt able to access this. Thanx to our wonderful gov programs that arent even helpful
You know what… so what if this is an advertisement? You’re going to see them almost everyday. Look at the story behind it.. this woman is a role modal. This device they are selling is revolutionary. Look at the lives it can change. Look at what it HELPS people do. Technology is AMAZING. Much love to this woman and her courage.
You can tell by all the comments below...that these people all have their sight. And their sight is not hampering anything they can or cannot do. Why worry about ..is it an advertisement or not?? It's getting the information out there to thousands of people who might ..and I say MIGHT be able to use this....or don't even KNOW it's out there.
Such a cool device!! I was born with Congenital Cataract in both eyes and at 14yo I had to have laser eye surgery countless times and also lens implants in both of my eyes! My vision is still poor but I’m thankful I still have my sight!
T orcam would really help me to b able to b independent I can only see an inch in front of my left eye. I also use a power wheelchair. Sadly it’s out of my price range
It attaches to glasses so its right by her eyes, that way the camera picks up whatever is directly in front of her. It reads books aloud, recognizes people, can tell her if objects are in front of her while shes walking. Its basically an extra pair of eyes that communicates with her. I think its an amazing device and gives so many people independence. I'm legally blind in one eye, i can see out of that eye but even with glasses my vision is horrible. I was given an eye exam 3 times in a row because they wanted to make sure the results were accurate because its so much worse than it was a year ago. They said I have thin corneas so i have to go see a specialist to see if i have glaucoma which it seems like i do because of my rapid vision loss plus thin corneas. I pray to God i dont go blind but if i do i will definitely get this device.
@@daisysfield5456 see these other purposes for it make a lot of sense! 😊 Just thought it was funny how happy she was about that feature of saying her kids names "it's allowed me to interact with my kids" like you coullld before lol 😆 they didn't really go over many benefits/uses/features of the product, just how much it changed her life
@@aliciadeadlydaisy7543 you’re right I could interact before and I did, but I wasn’t able to read books to them without this device after I got sick. We have been remote learning for a year. If it wasn’t for this device I wouldn’t be able to interact with them the way I would have if I didn’t get sick.
Why does he always shill for this product? It's overly expensive at over £3000 in Britain. This from someone who is trying to save for one. It's pathetic really that he shills for this every few months or so.

The fact that you’re using your voice and standing up for me means a lot to me. It’s been a hard two years, the OrCam has helped me in so many ways.
@@blind_momofboys I’m really glad to here that and I truly do admire your strength.
Low key got tricked into watching a infomercial

Hello Dr. Phil. My name is Juan Mendoza. I am blind I am 22 years old. I been using the Orcam my Eye for the past 1 year.
Really looks like an advertisement 😂
That’s because it is
But it’s an unusual product- no one else makes this ! Great for blind people!
@@charley1359 thank you!
Really weird advertisement
Wow I'm super early, maybe Dr. Phil should like 😏
Wonderful that you have something like the Or Cam! What a lovely family.
We need to look deeper into who is selling these things.

Yeah my first thought was it’s a shame it’s so expensive. Maybe you could start a GoFund Me?
@@hartleyb8356 don’t know how to I’m too shy
There are payment plans. You don’t have to pay it all out right.
What an inspiration

Bro what happened to Jeremy the police imposter?
My friend is one of their developers
It's a shame that this device won't work for those who are mute like my disabled brother
Is he mute and blind?

Why does she need the glasses to speak to her kids if she can talk? 🤔😂
She doesn't, the cam recognizes her children's faces and tells her who is standing in front of her

Yes especially when she was talking
