So um yeah, here's a funny story. I was working for my hours at my school taking out our garbage and listening to music at the same time. I threw in the bag as this song came on and at that very moment bees came from the bin and chased me, just as this song was at 1:57. Scared the heck out of me while this majestic music was playing, and the scene itself was quite hilarious.
This music somehow always manages to get me back to feel better. Wether sad for something complex, like a lost friend/relative/love/job, or something as simple as going bad on a test. With this uplifting rhythm/tone, and great choose of tones, peaks, and feelings, i always feel that i can overcome my fears, sadnesses and worries. It feels like a story of how everything is going to be fine, from the worst place inside a black hole to the best place of the universe. I really just wish it was longer than a minute(not repeating itself over and over). It feels like it could tell us much more if had more minutes.. Then again, a simple "hello, i hope you feel better and you are a wonderful person, remember that!" might be a better antidote than a long conversation, heh.
Anyone get the feeling that the squeak at 1:26 represents a seagull or other seabird squawking over the ocean as Ammy and Orca sail out from the shore? I've always suspected the sound is that.
As soon as I catch that Shiny Kyogre, I'll name him "Shachimaru". I listened to this beauty of a track when I decided that. I fell in love with the track even before knowing where it appeared.
I've played through Okami and every Zelda game, the spirit they share and feelings they evoke are absolutely phenomenal. I'm saddened that the original developers of Okami (Clover studios) dissolved, but I'm still pretty excited for Okamiden. If nothing else I can't wait to see the world of Okami expanded upon.

This is so fitting for being out on the ocean... I feel like I'm flying across the waters surface on Orca's back,barelling through the waves like there's no tomorrow!

@Erasetheinside me to, i think wind waker is the best zelda game ever, and i played AND beat ocarina of time, but i never beat wind waker cause when i get to the last level it says "disc could not be read" :(

I like this theme better than the sailing theme in Wind Waker! This feels like you're truly experiencing a grand adventure. It's beautiful. :)
It made me feel sad this theme doesn’t play once you get the ability to walk on water and don’t really need Orca to travel the waters anymore.

There's a bass clarinet heard in the background. A lot of the Okami tracks have western instruments in the mix, so kudos to Okami for diversity!

I got Orca to swim on top of the water dragon and I just chilled there for a couple minutes. I felt so powerful because it couldn't eat me ^_^
