One thing I wanna ask. Is it worth playing DMC 1 & 2 now in PS4?
Nero saves the world and gets the girl. Dante another job awaits with Trish and Lady. Vergil used judgment nut and dipped on a girl, decades later steals his son’s arm, and stab’s himself to become two people
Then V stabs Ergil after Dante beats him and becomes Vergil again
Before that Vergil hires Virgil's brother and Vergil's son so that he can defeat Vergil and become Vergil, featuring Vergil - max0r

Not only dmc 4 was the hardest of all the games (platinum trophy to get) but it was also a good emotional dmc game.
dmc 4 was fine , the previous games of dmc however, were not.

@@uwuklaudiauwu8641 dmc4's vergil cutscenes are showing him going to fortuna and presumably having sex with one of the locals, who births nero. he then goes to whatever city dmc3 takes place in, and the events happen there. then 1 and 2, and then the ACTUAL dmc4 campaign, and then 5. basically, 3 is a prequel, and 4's vergil cutscenes are a prequel to the prequel.
@@GyarinChannel always thought it was weird how they made DMC4 Vergil the very beginning of the story especially when you consider the small details like gameplay wise DMC4 Vergil has Beowulf & Force Edge but canon wise he has yet to even get those weapons🤣
@@GamerFreak354 I’m pretty sure that in-canon DMC 4 Vergil only has the Yamato, they just added Beowulf and Force Edge for gameplay reasons cuz nobody wants to play as Vergil with only 1 weapon.
Technically it goes DMC4 Vergil -> DMC3 Vergil -> DMC3 -> DMC1 -> DMC2 Dante & Lucia -> DMC4 Nero/Dante & Lady/Trish -> DMC5 and even more with the comics, books, manga, and anime 🤓

Tmwhen I played as a kid I got stuck in the lost woods on mission 13(ironic)but when I beat it I cherished the rest of the game as I finally made it and the scene where we get Nero back hit a lot different same with defeating sanctus

Oh he gets it. But you have to remember that Trish is a clone Mundus created using their mothers DNA from her heart and Lady hates all men. Although she is learning to trust Dante, have mutual respect for each other. There is nothing wrong with his manhood. He could get most any woman except Trish or Lady. They are off limits. And Dante wouldn't accept just any woman either. He isn't even looking, but when he's ready he will definitely be looking for the kind of love his parents had. And because of who they are he knows his mothers fate could be the fate of any woman that loves a Sparda, which is why you don't see any love interest. And I also think that after Trish & Lady's remarks that is why Dante turned around, crossed his arms and pondered Nero & Kyrie's relationship. And its also why Dante was watching over them, set Nero up with the girls to create a 2nd DMC team to demon hunt. Just my opinion though because at no time has Dante, Trish or Lady had any love interest.

@@otaviocavalo4453 Dante's probably the only male Lady likes or respects. Would they throw down. No. I know that Dante could get lots of women, he just chooses not to. One of the issues in the anime that shead any light on that outcome references to the fact that demons track scent and any woman Dante would sleep with would be vulnerable to attack just as Eva was. I am not a gamer so there are things I don't know. My first experience with DMC was the anime. The reason Dante still stands as the #1 most beloved character is because of who he is, what he represents. Anyone, any race, any age, any persuasion can play DMC and not get offended. He's handsome, kind, respectful, romantic, a gentleman, he doesn't smoke, drink, do drugs, womanize, cheat, lie or steal, he's strong, always wins, let's the girls get away with taking advantage of him, loves his strawberry sundaes, and he never has to load his guns (unlike Nero) which l believe they are an extension of his demon essence, becoming bullets which always return to him covered with the demon blood which he absorbs and becomes stronger. Dante's character, indeed the entire cast, doesn't know the meaning of the word racist, woke, homophobic or sexist. Just the coolest character in gaming history that everyone loves. Even after that parallel universe where DmC Dante was the opposite of our Dante and a 10 year absence between 4 & 5 no other gaming character was able to take his #1 position. When he's on screen he outshines everyone else. Oh as to that theory of his guns never needing bullets, that's what someone told me years ago, so I can't attest to its accuracy. Wow that got lengthy didn't it.

You have to think how strong Sparda was, He had the Rebellion Yamato and his own swarod. Also the power Dante and Vergil unlock in DMC5 he already knew about and had SDT HAD Vergil and Dante's abilities but surpassed

They foreshadowed DMC 5 so well with last ending
It just a shame that they thought DMC4 didn't do well enough and instead gave us the reboot. Making fans wait a decade for DMC:V.

I just wish that the story was as good as it exaggerates itself to be.
It just baffles me how the franchise relies on fanservice in selling its story, and when i played dmc4 It felt like there was some sort of legacy storylines that this game was paying homage too, as if we had a satisfying Nero and dante arc for like 5 games prior and this was just to settle things out, lol.
samething with dmc5, The story was always all over the place, ever since dmc3, and it just baffles me how the writers write their stories in dmc4 and 5 as if they delivered anything that is rich in character arc prior to these games.
And whenever i get into conversation with anyone, im always slammed with ''go read the manga''. that in itself proves my point on how the writers throw little effort in writing quality in their games, and instead throwing whats important into outside media lol, Idk but in my book, thats the highest tier of lazy writing imo. which is sad consodering how this franchise has bad- mediocre games same as its good games.
dude, nobody gives a f about how fancy it is, they like it just the way it is, don't need to search for hidden sense in places that there aren't, that's why this approach works

Plus i didnt say they should change the story, i said just make it better, It annoys because there is no reason to not try to tell a good story but they refuse because they let cheap fanservice to do the work, thats just horrible quality in story whether you like it or not. its even worse when the story of dmc is already hard to follow lmao, its all over the place, the fact that anime fantasy fan service work for you doesnt change anything, dmc3 - dmc4 - dmc5 storyline is the most lackluster story/charcater arc design ive seen in any video game franchise it almost contradicts what they are trying to achieve. again, it works because fanservice works, and the point of it, is that you the player like it, and youre a living example of that. Its even worse when the gameplay in the franchise is already established since dmc3, so the story part of the game isnt excused to be this shallow and leaning towards player pandering to sell itself because the writers cant seem to write anything worth going through that isnt fanservice. Fanservice isnt bad in itself, but its bad when an entire franchise story literally relies on it.
Besides dmc's only gameplay merit is combat so i dont think teh gameplay is 'top notch', combat is, but gameplay is very linear towards one element, which is stylish combat
@@tamadachi1281 All im trying to say, They have source material to work with which is what they kinda established with the first dmc game, but everytime a dmc game releases, its hevaily lackluster in the story part of the game, which is the seconds most important thing after gameplay considering the franchise is a charcater action genre which focuses on charcaters yet in every game all they show of dante is pure fanservice and the plot was most of the time insignificant compared to the first dmc game, its eorse when outta nowhere they showed the most generic B charcater ''Nero'' in dmc4 when they created a childish kingdom hearts story. and with dmc5 bieng the most fanservice game in the franchise, the just gave you the dmc3 plotline again without explaing/showing anything worth 'investing'' in, because 90% of the cutscenes in the franchise is just pure dante fanservice and 10% story telling that barely gives anything rich about dante or nero or vergil other than showing them as your typical 'cOOl'' anime charcaters.

There are different endings?
The ending that shows Dante Trish and Lady watching Nero kiss is actually added from the Special Edition, along with Vergil’s ending.
And these endings are added literally 7 years after the original DMC4 released
