Do you think maybe she died after she had Nero? Or maybe she left him at the orphanage because she might've been targeted by demons and didn't want to put him in danger?
It's weird that they just comment like it's a random demon and not their old man. I mean they're basically the jesus twins of fortuna's religion and they don't give a shit
@@JEW_UNIT Yeah but pretty sure the Order adopted him so he doesn’t have to pay for child support considering that the Order didn’t really care truly about the money, they cared for Sparda and wanted to be like him, if only Sanctus wasn’t a cunt, would have been nice.
he must've been her house guest after saving her life from a demon. one knight after the job, he decided to have some time of his own. he came to close a Hellgate, probably a prototype that must've been opened earlier on. after his job is done, he leaves Fortuna and ends up meeting Arkham leading to DMC3.
Here he is The rightful owner of Yamato The best wielder of Yamato The fastest man that can cut even dimensions The only one who Dante loved and care The Legendary Darkslayer, *Vergil*
Legend says that a man challenged him to a pistol duel with revolvers, Virgil said he would use his sword, the man laughed and drew his gun, and then Virgil spins Yamato catching all 3 bullets that were fired lays them on the ground the mans laugh turns into cry’s for mercy Vergil says run for your life. Then Virgil flicks the bullets and the bullets a fling so hard the pierce into the mans skull and Vergil walks into the pale moonlight the man dead. Then judgement nuts into nero’s mum and then walks into the place moonlight again and isn’t seen again until dmc 3
Thanks for mentioning that Vergil was the only one Dante cared about and still loved. True he loved his mom probably the most but she was dead. Vergil was alive, his older brother and someone who Dante always cared about and probably hated fighting against. The sheer happiness of the two brothers when they bury their beef with one another at the end of DMC 5 is just adorable. Dante never smiles the way he does around Vergil. ❤️☺️
Vergil's moving so fast what we're really watching is him in slow motion. He tosses his cloak at 1:04 and then picks up back up before it hits the ground at 2:18
It's always struck me how Vergil's and Dante's fighting styles are so different yet similar. For instance, Vergil fights in a more disciplined fashion, while Dante has a more wild style. But they both fight with this sort of flare like they know their the most dangerous thing in the room, which admittedly they are.
Reminds me slot of the two guys from the anime Samurai Champloo they are literally just how you described Virgil and Dante one using very precise and disciplined sword technical style while the other guy is using a wild unpredictable and Orthodox sword style.
Yes Vergil using a disciplined style of iaijutsu and kenjutsu, Dante use a freestyle swordsmanship and that's define the two characters Dante is cool and free Vergil is focus and cold
+Ee Kwang That's just DMC 3, only they replaced Dante with Virgil. No. There's been plenty of years for Virgil to have his own journeys, his own stories that can be told before this event and DMC 3.
It seems pretty straight forward though, Vergil does seem like the type to knock up a girl just to continue the linage without an emotional attachment too
Haha and a year or 2 later after that games release they make and put in a Dante outfit into the game that has that white hair that he said never in a million years too.
2:39 Vergil impregnate that girl and left Fortuna. That girl died in childbirth or killed by demons and Nero left orphaned. Nero was adopted by credo and Kyrie's parents and they grow up together. When he grow up he reluctantly joins the holy knights out of respect for Credo and Kyrie.. He met his Uncle Dante as they fight and awaken his demonic powers. Credo was killed, kyrie got kidnapped, Nero failed to save her and they got absorbed by The Savior. Uncle came to the rescue and give nero the Yamato in order to kick Sanctus' ass and save Kyrie. Uncle give the Yamato to Nero as a gift and say farewell. Nero becomes a devil hunter and live with kyrie and recruited Nico. His Daddy came to Nero and rip of his arm without question. Nero is fucking piss right now, his personal mission to kill his Daddy. They reunite with Uncle again and with his friends and companions to destroy urizen. once urizen is defeated, Daddy came out and uncle attacks him and daddy refuse to fight and leave. Nero wants to pursue his Daddy and uncle stops him that uncle is responsible to kill his brother. Nero followed them to stop the fight between uncle and daddy with new found powers. Nero knocks out uncle in order to fucking kick his Daddy's ass. Nero won and daddy is lose! Daddy decided that he must seal the demon world and uncle Dante wants to keep on eye of his brother and Nero wants to join too but uncle and daddy refuse instead he must stay in human world to protect from demons. But Nero won't listen so Daddy and Uncle hits Nero in the face for his stubbornness. Nero accept it and he will miss them soo much. Uncle say Goodbye and Daddy Vergil give Nero his book as a keepsake and say goodbye to his baby boy. Nero is sad and go home. While Uncle and Daddy is busy fighting Demons in Hell.
I know everyone has already said this, but that chick in the first cutscene is definitely Nero's mom. I'm glad the implications of this cutscene finally confirmed Nero's relationship to Vergil. Dante = best uncle ever.
***** First of all: subtext. It's important to read into the meaning of a cutscene in games like Devil May Cry, because they don't waste showing irrelevant garbage unless it's to crack a joke or reveal information. Secondly, Nero is heavily hinted at being Vergil's son in the Devil May Cry 4 novel, and he was confirmed to be his son by Capcom employees and later DMC art books. Finally, how else would Nero have the power of Sparda? Sparda died during Dante's childhood and Nero is too young to even be conceived while Sparda was alive. Dante and Vergil are probably in their mid thirties (if Vergil was still alive, which it seems like he is pretty dead at this point, but who knows) and Vergil is in his late teens in this scene. The timeline links up almost perfectly for Vergil to have hooked up with that chick and had Nero. This explains why someone like Nero is apart of the cult, why Nero has the power of Sparda, and why Nero's DT is the same as Vergil's DT and why he was able to repair Yamato. If that doesn't convince you, I don't think even Dante being like "How's my favorite nephew, Nero?" would.
+Lulzy Hunter yes, something that bothers me a lot is that in this cutscene it says "fortuna, 10 years ago..." Nero has to have 10 years when the canon story begins!!
***** Still, it's more likely that Vergil is Nero's son than him being another son of Sparda. I'm not sure what else he would be besides maybe a result of experiments by the order in DMC4, but even that doesn't make sense when you look how they are shocked by his powers. It seems like they really didn't think his origins, but from every indication they've given us, it seems that he has some blood connection to Vergil, and it wouldn't be possible for him to be another son of Sparda.
What I believe that Vergil wants is nothing but revenge. He wants powers, a power greater than any other so he can kill Mundus so Eva finally rests in peace. Also, he wants power so he can really live without having to fear being defeated and leaving something behind like Sparda left his family unprotected. His life thinking that way has made him someone cold, who believes that it's better if he does not have anyone that loves him, so it doesn't matter if he fails and dies seeking vengance. Also, if he even cared about someone, he'd fear not being strong enough to protect that person as happened with Eva. The problem comes with Dante. I guess that Vergil cares about his brother more than what both admit. He stabbed him, ok, but they are the sons of Sparda, it´s not like Dante was going to die from just that. My theory in fact is that Vergil KNEW that stabbing Dante with Rebellion would awaken his devil trigger, so he did it to give Dante the power to protect at least himself. Also, Vergil decided to stay in the demonic realm because he knew that, as wounded as he was, they couldn't have reached the portal together so he sacrificed himself so that Dante could be able to get back home disguising it as he wanted to stay in their father's "home." In the end Vergil went against Mundus at last but... he lost. Such an ironic fate that hating Mundus so much he ended up mind controlled by him. So, to sumarize, I believe that Vergil is no villian, but a mere neutral antagonist. Yes, he is cold, ruthless and a bit cruel, but he is not really Evil. Reminds me of a conversation between Riku and Xion in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days Riku being Vergil and Xion Dante. Xion asked Riku if he hates her and he says "No, I guess I'm just sad." I don't know why but the relationship between Dante and Vergil reminds me of that scene. I believe they don't hate each other, it's more like when they look at the other they see what they have lost and how different has been their way to approach and overcome the sadness they have gone through.
Gabriel Harper After the death of his mother Vergil went on a quest for power so he wouldn't be powerless to protect his loved ones like he was back then. That was his initial motivation but over time he became greedy, selfish and became consumed by his desire and no longer wanted power to protect his loved ones,he wanted power for power's sake. But this does leave a wide door open to redemption and a change of heart for Vergil. If DMC 5 is rumored to be the end of the Sparda Brothers series then I hope it ends with Vergil reuniting with his brother and claiming his fathers legacy as a protector of humanity.
Great comment, OP, I agree with it all! Vergil is a wayward man, but he'll inherit the right legacy one day... hopefully he'll realise that that legacy comes in the form of his brother and son.
Very well said. That's my interpretation of DMC3 as well. Vergil to Dante is like Jeanne to Bayonetta, who tests the other and helps them grow. His intent is to help and protect. He unlocked Dante's DT after their first fight. He smiled and felt content after seeing Dante's improvement in their second fight. He was reluctant in their third fight. I actually think he wanted Dante to voluntarily tour the underworld and fight together with him, that was why he returned the amulet and cooperated with him in the first place. In the end though, he did respect his brother's decision to stay away from it, but Dante didn't respect his brother's decision in the same way and injured him in the process. Vergil sacrificed himself to save his brother, and in effect also saved mankind by separating the amulets. All secretly, and at his own expense. No one ever understood, thanked or rewarded him in-verse. They only knew he was misled and befallen, but never actually tried to emphasize and help with the situation. At the end of DMC5 though, they finally got it and did what he had wanted, but at that point Vergil had already lost his ambitions and moved on. After over two decades of suffering alone in the underworld, he had lost his edge and is no longer the same prideful and hopeful youth he once was. For me, the story of DMC5 makes no sense by the way. It's just well presented so I will take it as-is, without any complaint of any sort.
The idea that Vergil knew Dante would awaken his DT after being stabbed with Rebellion makes sense, when he was stabbed by the yamato, he awakened his demonic power, so he must've made the connection. I don't think he saw Dante bouncing back quite the way he did though, as that would directly interfere with his plan
Vergil is very interesting. He isn't a good guy nor bad. He just seems to be going through a lot in his heart. He's after power, yet it seems like he isn't going to do anything with it if he ever gets it. I already know why he's so intent on gaining power (felt like he couldn't protect their mother so figures getting stronger will compensate for what he couldn't do, which was protect their mom), but what are the plans afterwards? He doesn't seem interested in ruling over anyone, nor protecting anyone anymore, so why? After Vergil reaches that goal for power, what's gonna be the meaning in all of it? I really wish Vergil was real, I'd like to have a good talk with him about this.
"Might controls everything. Without power you can't protect anything, let alone yourself" Yeah he obviously regrets not being strong enough to protect Eva although it is hard to guess what he'll do.
those are my thoughts too. In devil may cry 3 hes really not an evil character the evil one is arkham. In one particular scene arkam is talking about teminigru doing what its meant to and evil ruling the world and Vergil looks agitated and cuts him short saying "thats none of my concern" or something. Another strong scene i like from that game is when he stabs Dante in their first fight. "Might controls everything and without strength you cannot protect anything..." he pauses and Dante slowly looks up at him almost as to say " you're talking about mom" then Vergil snaps out of it and finishes with "...let alone yourself" He needs to make a comeback hes the best character in Devil may cry.
I don't get why people say this is not straightforward. Let's start with DMC4. First of all, you are introduced to another character that is both human and demon and of course he has white hair. This of course doesn't prove a whole bunch, but it's still something to think about, since everyone else seems kinda normal looking in the DMC universe. Secondly, Nero's strange connection with the Yamato sword and Nero's Devil Trigger. Why would the katana react to someone like that and even produce a devil trigger looking slightly like Vergil's and in blue color. Lastly, Dante is making it pretty obvious. Not only was he going easy on Nero, which he too noticed and told him at their second fight, but he also said that the sword should stay at the family. And as you all have guessed, what does he do in the end? He leaves the sword with Nero. Anyone? No? Okay then. Moving on. I remember playing DMC4 when I was 14 years and I was certain that Nero is Vergil's son, or better, that they made it look like that is the case. When I looked it up on the internet, most people weren't convinced because of the age gap. The argument being that Dante looked really young? Like his early 30's? But if Dante (and thus Vergil too) is around 36-38 this actually makes sense. So what do these two cutscenes show us? Firstly that the age gap does make sense since Vergil went there just before the events of DMC3. And of course you can see Nero's devil trigger form in his shadow. Okay, why would a game company do that? For visual pleasure bs reasons? Maybe not!? Also, how convenient is it for a woman to just stay there looking at Vergil while he is moving away from her?. It's like shouting at us ''HEY GUYS, HERE IS NERO'S MOM''.
+MrDX1118 And why should that be given away from the first time that you encounter Nero? Or even with the Special Edition? I completely agree with how Capcom did this. They raised many questions, but they had already left some clues to figure out some stuff. It was beautiful, how it was set up, at least for me. Now to answer specifically your question in the best way that I can. Of course the Vergil that we know wouldn't do such a thing. So, it's either the thing called plot and having no more ideas for this franchise (which I highly doubt) or there is really something behind it that will be shown in the upcoming game. It seems reasonable to me to not answer stuff like that without having a new game. Maybe Vergil produced Nero as a way to come back from a potential death or idk, so when the time comes, he will use Nero's body to come back (far-fetched, but it's something). One other theory could be that he just wanted to extend his father's bloodline. Or something even crazier, that Vergil has a side that we don't know about. Honestly how much have seen from Vergil? Maybe he ended up loving a human, like his father before him. But the latte would upset many fans, so I guess not.
Not only that but we dont know how the brothers age, they could age slower the normal humans. and as i stated many of times. devil triggers change from game to game. the only reason why virgils character right now has the dmc3 devil trigger is because hes literaly just a port over from.
Old comment, but I think since this town worships Sparda, they wrote a Play in honor of Sparda kicking his ass. It had to have gotten word out somehow.
While this is indeed underwhelming, I think if you're a hardcore fan of the original DMC like me, you should support this Special Edition. Mostly because of 2 things: 1. It added a little bit more of canon information in the original series -- a series that was presumed DEAD and had its last installment SEVEN YEARS ago. 2. You guys know how Capcom works, they gave up on DMC because they didn't think it sold enough, and that's all they care about. But when money talks, they listen: they remastered Resident Evil's remake, it sold well, and now they're remastering RE Zero. If DMC4's Special Edition grants them enough profit, an ACTUAL Devil May Cry 5 may happen eventually.
+João Cabral Nah, I won't support this. Capcom and Ninja Theory gave us a reboot no Devil May Cry fan wanted and that tells me Capcom are not taking the fans seriously. I might pick it up on Steam one day if it ever goes down to £1
Yukari MAiG it appears to be the Devil trigger of Nero but why the model of the DT of vergil ingame is another one very different from the one of the cutscene

For those who are still messed up, here's some very short summarized chronological order of Vergil and Dante: Vergil: DMC4:SE, DMC3, DMC1 (as Nelo Angelo) Dante: DMC3, DMC1, DMC Anime, DMC4, DMC2
I just noticed Vergil tucked his head deeper into his cloak when Nero’s mom turned to him. Either he really didn’t want her to look at him or maybe there’s something deeper?
Maniac742 lmao the levels were stupid you’d probably die from falling off the fucking edges when you do your MAD combos which pisses me off to no end cause it ruins it you die from falling 98% of the fucking time like legit wtf hehe
1:13 That long trail of groove running along swords are called fullers or blood vents, not only they make sword light, flexible and stiff, they also act as suction cup that help warriors easily stab and draw their blade out their victim's bodies without any resistance. They also don't allow blood, oil, water or dust to stick to the blade.
Here in DMC4SE, Vergil is already outright the true hero. His air flips at the beginning cutscenes are just awesome and visually pleasing. We should have more of this instead of making a nonsense villain out of him again. Vergil fits far better as a true hero than a lawful evil. He is a noble knight and a pure and innocent good guy like Captain America and Superman are. Despite him having been created from the very beginning of DMC1, we still know very little information about him. He still has a lot of story to tell. He is a travelling bard and an adventurer. He could go anywhere and visit any buildings. Any place he visits could be a fitting backdrop for a good DMC game. And he is not difficult to play but still complex and fast-paced enough for a rewarding game experience. He won't scare new players away or bore old ones to sleep. I see so much potential in here and they are not taking it. Any ways, still looking forward to DMC6 regardless of what it is going to be.
i think he is more anti hero type because he's pursuing power, despite causing chaos with arkham in DMC3,in DMC 5,he stabs himself with yamato and urizen appears killing and collecting human's blood for Qliphoth
‘He’s a hero!’ Do you know how many people he has indirectly killed in his pursuit for power? For starters, unleashing the Temen-ni-gru already gives him a high kill count since that shit was released in a CITY. And then he caused the demon realm to be opened thanks to joining up with Arkham. Hell, his sword, The Yamato was the key to unlocking the gate to the demon world in DMC4, meaning he’s indirectly caused even MORE deaths due to the Savior and the demons And in DMC5, the Qlipoth. We have seen the actual REMAINS of humans due to the Qlipoth, and Urizen is literally a part of Vergil. Vergil is by no means an actual villain like Mundus and Sanctus, but to call him a HERO is a lie. He has killed probably MILLIONS in his pursuit for power, and shows little to no regret for it.
@@raytheidiot700 Vergil is definitely not a hero but he's not exactly a villain either (he was just the antagonist in 3), I don't know but I can be sure now he's an anti-hero if they have 6
I'd like to know more about the relationship Vergil had with this human woman. Was it only a one-night stand? What was it about the hooded figure that peeked her interest? What led to "this and that" despite the elder Son of Sparda usually despising humanity? Like Dante says decades later during the events of Devil May Cry 5, I'd love to hear that story. 🥰
The interesting twist is that Vergil in DMC4SE uses the same face model as Nero’s, and the woman that he eventually went to bed with has the same model as Kyrie
Could just kinda make a Game that is dedicated to Vergil? At least then Vergil can have his own story and more answers to be revealed to us in that way. Also i would love to play as vergil any how lol
I get that looking back they probably felt that only having an intro and ending was what they had for budget-wise, but I wished they had at least a few more cutscenes of Vergil learning more about The Order and Fortuna, ultimately concluding with meeting Nero’s mother. And maybe add a cutscene or two of Dante watching Nero from afar and questioning/theorizing if he was Vergil’s son.
you guys do realize that vergil's ending cutscene when he's walking down that trail and it shows his shadow it was nero's devil trigger right? so it might mean that nero is indeed vergils son also that lady that looked at vergil in the first cutscene was a little fuck with you in thinking mabye that's the chick vergil banged while he was there
seth kishun I have that same theory myself; Vergil had a lover or a one night stand when he was young, which led to Nero. In DMC4 Dante is said to be about mid thirties to late thirties, going by appearance, and Nero would be in his early twenties (an argument could be made for flat twenty), so it is possible.
I agree! It's also pretty much a fact (and don't quote me on this) that one of the creative team members accidentally stated that dante is Nero's uncle. There were some people (who I'm guessing don't understand how puberty works) that thought it wasn't possible for someone around the age of 17 to 20 years old could get someone pregnant.
Maybe that's that's the mother of Nero, nothing special just some random chick who fell in love with a demon who learned how to love like Dante and Vergil's own mama.
what would happen if in Devil May Cry 5, Vergil meets Nero, both fight because Vergil wanted the yamato which Nero has, then Dante arrives and boom, series of stuff happens, which leads the 3 of them finding out that a new family member has been discovered and all 3 must rise against a bigger enemy.
***** No look at the ending again. Dante couldn't kill him in fact he needed trish's power in his guns to finally overpower him. Also he only sent mundus away to demon world mundus said he'll return and then dante said something strange saying when he does to say hello to his son for him.
At least these cutscene's weren't entirely pointless like the DMC3 ones. They clearly are meant to show his connection as Nero's father. The first with the focusing on the female, and the second with his shadow that looks like Nero's DT when he says "Soon they shall know this devil's power. a Power greater then they ever imagined. The power of a true son of sparda." And considering how years later Nero (His son) Destroys the order, it's forshadowing because Nero would inherit his power.
3:28 - "Soon they shall know this devil's power. A power greater than they every imagined. The power of a son of Sparda." - Nero, duh! He became a twinkle in their parents eyes by this cutscene.
Vergil: and that Nero is How I Met Your Mother. Nero: you got her pregnant just by her looking at you? Vergil: I have demonic power what do you expect?
You guys don't get how interesting that ending scene is!! "Well I can't exactly call them misguided. But soon, they shall this devil's power. The power they could ever imagine. The power of the Son of Sparda." He was talking about NERO!
Anthony Villalobos 3 new characters, 1 newcomer with exclusives moves, for $25. I definitely got what I fucking wanted. If you come to DMC for the story, you are misguided.
Gray Fox The fans of the series care about the story. Not every game needs to have a MGS-esque plot to be interesting to people, y'know, Gray Fox? But OK, if you're happy with palette swaps and a couple of new characters with the same environments and missions, go for it, hope you have a blast just memorizing combo lists for the new characters since that's all they have to offer. I think the package isn't expensive as well, but it is a very basic Special Edition considering the original came out 7 years ago, we can't deny that.
***** I'm not expecting a MGS-esque story out of DMC, and my user name and picture didn't imply that in any way, so no, that is not an acceptable counter-argument. "The fans of the series care about the story" I would really like for you to prove that. Can you? Or did you just assume that every DMC fan thinks like you? Yes, the environments and missions are repetitive, it already was in the base game. Half-size game and backtrack all the way through? Fucking lazy shit. But fortunately, it did "somewhat" make up for in gameplay. Too bad that the characters were polar opposites on the skill level meter, Nero being easy and casual, Dante being too complicated and hard. It could use some middle ground, and that's exactly what Vergil brings. Plus Lady, a whole new way to approach combat, and Trish jack-of-all-trades. Also, one new costume and one pallet swap for each character. It's not all color swaps. "just memorizing combo lists for the new characters since that's all they have to offer. " hum.... what? Isn't that the point of the fucking game? What else is there to do? What else do you expect from the characters? Is that a bad thing now? I would like to know your opinion on fighting games then. Basic Special Edition? It's not like they've been working on it for seven years. If anything, you can consider that it probably began development after Resident Evil remaster sold so well (along with other old titles, rest assured). You have to remember that this franchise is also in some dark days. The last main game (DMC4 base) did get some mixed opinions, and the reboot sold shit and was also heavily criticized. They need to evaluate people interest in this franchise before they can think to spend a shit ton of money on it again, for like a DMC5. And a "remaster/re-release/specialedition" of and old game is just the way to do that. I don't know about you, but I fucking despise the reboot and I'm gonna support this game (which imo is an awesome special edition) so that maybe one day the series can finally return to its roots.
I cant ressist myself from comparing Vergil with Aizen,, how they both hunger for power,, and most important thing is how cool they are,, I love Vergil's cold personality,, just like I love Aizen
Mind you that Vergil's Story in DMC 4: SE was BEFORE the events of DMC 3. Vergil is already THIS strong before he confronted Dante in 3, got enslaved by Mundus in DMC 1, and returned in DMC 5 as V and Urizen, before merging back and gaining another Power boost thanks to the Qliphoth Fruit...
After watching this, I came up with a seemingly impeccable theory. Nero is Vergil's son, and while this has existed for like, seven years, I'll make a path that leads to this conclusion. First, is Nero's age. Vergil is in his late teens in this game, presumably 19. I'd like to think Vergil is a year older than Dante, but they're twins, so assuming Nero is nineteen by DMC4, Dante's age links up surprisingly well, being in his late thirties. Next is Vergil's motivation. In DMC3, he wants Sparda's power. Why? So he doesn't lose a family member again. That doesn't add up when Vergil stabs Dante, presumably his only family at that point. He wants to protect his son, or make him stronger with Sparda's power or something. Next, is a scene with Nero himself. It is heavily implied in the novel that Vergil possesses Nero, or something close to that. This is also evidenced by Nero saying awfully Vergil-like quotes("Die!" "Scum") and having Summoned Swords. Vergil probably knew he'd travel to Hell, and become Nelo Angelo. He will endure the exile. Anything, to protect her. Her, in Nero's case, Kyrie, and in Vergil's case, his wife. Also, that chick in The first cutscene is either that chick or maybe Kyrie's mom or something random. This largely underdeveloped, so please share your opinions.
i agree with you since every time nero touch an item the arm absorb it into power that could mean vergil is in nero arm and he is absorbing power until he free himself P.S sorry for my bad english
Looking back, I'm surprised Dante never flaunts on how he is the son of Sparda, he just says it in a casual term like "my old man" or "a son who cleans up his father's dirty work, where have I seen this before?" Now thinking about it Dante has a bit of similarities to Solid Snake, both clean their dads dirty work and they both have Mothers named Eva. Solid Snake: save Eva! Dante: why did you say that name?
Vergil Devil-triggered and completely hollowfied Ichigo... That would be one hell of a battle! It would probably end the same as Asura vs Oni-- a big fucking "TO BE CONTINUED" on your screen and you'll never find out who won
*Nero’s mom stares at Vergil* Vergil: Stand aside! Nero’s mom: Too late. Vergil: what is your true intention? Nero’s mom: I’m pregnant, with your kid. Vergil: Foolishness! Nero’s mom: haaaah... disappointing, another one of those dads again....
2:35 "Oh look that handsome guy... Yes, he will be mine and I will get his devil boy" Edit: It's curious that woman dress the same colors of clothes like Eva.
It took me a look of replays and some help from comments section but I finally realize. Vergil is Nero father. I always went for the Nero is a weakened part of Vergil power that manage to survive, but now it's official, Vergil is Nero dad.
Nero's mum simply looked at Vergil and instantly got pregnant; that's how awesome Vergil is
lmfao
he sheathed his sword hard
Do you think maybe she died after she had Nero? Or maybe she left him at the orphanage because she might've been targeted by demons and didn't want to put him in danger?
Considering his sword style, you would think his pull out game would be pretty strong.

Been doing it since DMC3. And the cycle continues on with DMC5. DMC5 is great. Vergil came out. BAM. IT'S NOW GOD TIER.
DMC is never the same without the blue samurai.
Everybody, Nero is actually confirmed. to be Vergil's son. It was confirmed in (for some ungodly reason) a Devil May Cry art book...
+cheezburgerforcats some devil may cry fans are still in denial. And wouldn't accept it, even If they saw it on the videogame.

That is pretty profound, dude.

If he doesn't cut you into pieces
+Cameron Walls especially with a sword that can cut through dimensions!
"Might controls everything. Without power you can't protect anything, let alone yourself" Yeah he obviously regrets not being strong enough to protect Eva although it is hard to guess what he'll do.
+MrDX1118 but Dante already killed him
those are my thoughts too.
Lol I'm 14 right now and just started the DMC series. I also had a feeling that Nero is the son of Vergil.
All of you need to look at DMC4 Lady. She is human, so by looking at her you can tell the ages.
Maybe Vergil wanted more power to protect those he loves
00:16 anybody noticed Beowulf? I guess he has some fans in Fortuna.
Honestly, no. The hardest boss not only in DMC4 but also every game is...

Old comment, but I think since this town worships Sparda, they wrote a Play in honor of Sparda kicking his ass. It had to have gotten word out somehow.
While this is indeed underwhelming, I think if you're a hardcore fan of the original DMC like me, you should support this Special Edition. Mostly because of 2 things:
+João Cabral I agree ^^

Vergil literally just gave a quickie and ran away. Btw I haven’t played DMC5 yet and is going to. Just got into the series :)
‘He’s a hero!’
Do you know how many people he has indirectly killed in his pursuit for power?
For starters, unleashing the Temen-ni-gru already gives him a high kill count since that shit was released in a CITY. And then he caused the demon realm to be opened thanks to joining up with Arkham.
Hell, his sword, The Yamato was the key to unlocking the gate to the demon world in DMC4, meaning he’s indirectly caused even MORE deaths due to the Savior and the demons
And in DMC5, the Qlipoth.

It was his own Devil Trigger, which Nero takes after
nochtczar How was that his Devil Trigger when his Devil Trigger is shown in this very game...
Vergil: _walks by on the street_
Random woman: "By Sparda, I will give this man children"
You wondered why Vergil looks young here?
This Vergil intro is SICK ! I felt betrayed in the dmc5 cutscene where he rapids slash 2 poor foes...
A dying man, so weak that he uses a Katana like a cane. Is still able to kill 2 big demons with 2 hits in highspeed.
i think that is pretty sick.
2:38 this is Your Mother! Nero.
i like how he uses the scabbard also in his attacks , thats so cool
The woman in red...
She was the only one to look back as Vergil walked off.
Could it be...
Vergil is Nero's father confirmed?
Maybe that's that's the mother of Nero, nothing special just some random chick who fell in love with a demon who learned how to love like Dante and Vergil's own mama.
Well, it was already confirmed in the art book and now in Dmc5
Officially confirmed
Yes, that’s Nero’s daddy. Still have no clue what happened to his Mom, the women in red most likely of course but there’s no story of her.
what would happen if in Devil May Cry 5, Vergil meets Nero, both fight because Vergil wanted the yamato which Nero has, then Dante arrives and boom, series of stuff happens, which leads the 3 of them finding out that a new family member has been discovered and all 3 must rise against a bigger enemy.
+Carlos Dairo Man that's awesome
That would be Mundus.
+wiseguy240 Winston Didn't Mundus get rekt in the 1st instalment though?
***** No look at the ending again. Dante couldn't kill him in fact he needed trish's power in his guns to finally overpower him. Also he only sent mundus away to demon world mundus said he'll return and then dante said something strange saying when he does to say hello to his son for him.
+Carlos Dairo well Father and Son fighting xD that would be kind of hilarious to see.
2:36 Nero's Mom maybe? :^)
FizzyMcSoda exactly
As with all things Devil May Cry 4. It manages to not explain anything and instead raise more questions.
No wonder the reboot happened lol.
+wiseguy240 Winston the reboot is like dragon ball evolution... It sucked ASS!
Emma7846 Ehhh it was decent, definitive collection was well done as well. I'd definitely place DmC leagues above devil may cry 2.
We don't talk about Devil May Cry 2.
J Smitherz Exactly my point lol. 😂
0:49 - your brother asked the same question Vergil
He became a twinkle in their parents eyes by this cutscene.
who saw the lady that stopped and looked at Vergil
idk but i think its Nero's mom
Rena The Kink Queen
"thats so cool when he said "the power of the son of sparda
Am I the only one who noticed that Vergil's facial model for this game is almost the same as Nero's facial model?
Vergil: and that Nero is How I Met Your Mother.
Nero: you got her pregnant just by her looking at you?
Vergil: I have demonic power what do you expect?
@kenny yes
@Austin Rocha jesus.... but I really hope we got 6th game but...jesus
Lol that would totally be funny hands down
Dante: So bro, didnt i killed you in that Castle before i fought Mundus?
Vergil: Nag, you must have dreamt it Dante.
You guys don't get how interesting that ending scene is!! "Well I can't exactly call them misguided. But soon, they shall this devil's power. The power they could ever imagine. The power of the Son of Sparda." He was talking about NERO!
Chris Thomas Yeah, but I wanted more story about his connection to Nero, not some cheap ass cutscenes! Capcom didn't deliver like we all wanted
Well the game was only $25 bucks lol and with the content on there what more do you want? It's really not Vergil's story.
hum....
Vergil is love ❤😘 Vergil is life ❤
Vergil needs his own game and story
I cant ressist myself from comparing Vergil with Aizen,, how they both hunger for power,, and most important thing is how cool they are,, I love Vergil's cold personality,, just like I love Aizen
Where's he from?
+Kyo Mebi thx
@@andrewrogers6197 Bleach
👌👌👌
I pretty agree with these
i agree with you since every time nero touch an item the arm absorb it into power that could mean vergil is in nero arm and he is absorbing power until he free himself
P.S sorry for my bad english
FYI it was confirmed
The Lonely King it’s confirmed dude
Sparda100 well that is sad
Oh my god. The way Nero's mom looked at at vergil. Its like she knew whats going to happen to him...
Vergil shethes his sword
Neros mom 'oh my god you got me so pregnant I'm instantly in labour 😱'
Also that Sparda mod at the end looks awesome
I’m pretty sure that woman that was looking at Virgil was Nero’s mom
Looking back, I'm surprised Dante never flaunts on how he is the son of Sparda, he just says it in a casual term like "my old man" or "a son who cleans up his father's dirty work, where have I seen this before?" Now thinking about it Dante has a bit of similarities to Solid Snake, both clean their dads dirty work and they both have Mothers named Eva.
Solid Snake: save Eva!
Dante: why did you say that name?
Virgil doesn't fight for fun... your just in his way
Truly when we get to see Vergil go from Vergin to Vergil
2:50 So thats the night in wish Vegil knocked up that order gurl wow
Who's here after playing DMC 5 ?
I can see Vergil as a new character in Bleach.
Vergil Devil-triggered and completely hollowfied Ichigo... That would be one hell of a battle! It would probably end the same as Asura vs Oni-- a big fucking "TO BE CONTINUED" on your screen and you'll never find out who won
As long as he doesn't look like Hollow Vergil from DmC, why the heck not?
if the anime English dub comes out.
Stern B voice should that voice.
Bleach will be fucked. Everyone will be fucked. No offense thou but Vergil is damn OP.
Funny thing is, Nero is voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch (Ichigos English voice actor)
"The power of son of sparda" this is so epic
*Nero’s mom stares at Vergil*
Vergil: Stand aside!
Nero’s mom: Too late.
Vergil: what is your true intention?
Nero’s mom: I’m pregnant, with your kid.
Vergil: Foolishness!
Nero’s mom: haaaah... disappointing, another one of those dads again....
From that day forth...my mind changed...a voice echoed...Vergil...give me more...Vergil!
2:35 "Oh look that handsome guy... Yes, he will be mine and I will get his devil boy"
Edit: It's curious that woman dress the same colors of clothes like Eva.
It took me a look of replays and some help from comments section but I finally realize. Vergil is Nero father. I always went for the Nero is a weakened part of Vergil power that manage to survive, but now it's official, Vergil is Nero dad.
Can you explain how?
+Abigail Weller By looking at the video, or other comments like I did.
Alexis Guillen Oh yeah I just read them. I hope they make a DMC 5 and touch on that.
+Abigail Weller Your name is Abigail. The same name as the main villian in the anime. Was that intentional?
But hey, it's just a theory, a GAME THEORY, thanks for watching!
Vergil so fast that the npc girl got pregnant just by looking at him
I cant hold my breath. He is so cool
Bet that was Nero's mom in the crowd, plus the line about "a son of sparda." Ya, he was going to lay her.
