Thank you for your comment on sugar and if you can’t make it with all the ingredients listed in your kitchen, then you shouldn’t be eating it. I just started dialing back on processed foods that were creeping into my everyday eating. It’s only day two but already I’m feeling that mental clarity and less anxious/depressed feelings all day long. I didn’t know our body can only really handle 5 grams of sugar. Is that per meal or per day?
Loved this so much, I learned a lot. Thank you Crystal! If it helps others, here are the top tips I learned from this… 1. Your body can really only handle 5g of sugar at a time, yikes! 2. Pre and probiotics might be a waste of money- just eat a diverse range of healthy foods to feed different bacteria in the gut 3. IBS isn’t really a thing, there is something else going on with the body and gut 4. Look at the ingredients on everything- if you can’t recreate it at home, then don’t eat it or buy it! Of course there was more than this, but I appreciate these specific facts/tips. 🙏
I absolutely love the term, advocate for ourselves. must happen. we need to take responsibility for our own health. thank you. this is so informative.

Yeah I found the five grams point questionable because on google it says we need 30g but hey dialing back is a good thing
