That’s exciting being almost finished below the waterline, you’ve done so much, including your baby, it’s been a great channel! Thanks for the episode

Hi the grease things in Holland we call them cups and they are quite common old machines. You fill them up with baring grease and twist them just so many engine hours. Normally half a twist works. A cup should last for 20 twists and then you simply fill them all up and start all over. The grease does not need to come out at the baring but should stop the water to ingress. Best of success with the rest of the build. Cheers rene

I'm glad that worked out for you. If you covered that through hull in beeswax it should be a simple application of a heat gun and it should slide right out, if it scraped off on the way in that could be a different story. Best of luck.

    Hi Richard, good progress !
In my rudder (no265) pin is free playing up down. So there should be the hinge with the two brackets and one free playing pin between them. What holds the pin in place is the rudder shape.

`thanks SJ I've not heard of all those channels except Tally Ho - which I like a lot. Will check them out

Check out SV Mistress, and Sailing Yaba. Two other channels that fit perfectly with the ones you currently watch. Sail Life, Odd Life Crafting, and Sailing into Freedom would be a few more that I would recommend.

@@aboatcalledwanda6925 also i had the same problems as you, companies asking 90 euro for the bushing, its silly, i was tempted to buy a cheap lathe and start making my own, i found this bloke on the dutch sailing forums and when i contacted him i found he lived 10 mins by bicycle from where i live.. it felt like i won the lottery haha
