Judges: what say you Demon?
Seraphim: Y'all aint shit
*gasp*
Hades: No, no, let him cook
😂
Cute, Seraphim was condemned to Loki's punishment
I thought the same.
Considering 1st season combined many or touched on may from Greek myths, I wondered how much were exhausted.
Titanomachy, Gigantomachy, Monsters, and Clash of the Titans from what I remember.
Getting more material I think the writers will pull from other source myths material.
Yah I caught that too. Very “Loki” punishment
Sometimes, people feel awfull when creating punishments even if is a fantasy, sometimes I feel that when I write
And what exactly is Loki's punishment?
@@bethelsheunesumasukume352 to have snake venom dripped onto his face until ragnarok. His wife catches the venom in a bowl but when she has to empty it does face get burnt. Which is where earthquakes come from
I don't blame to judges for condemning Seraphim especially in regards to his Kin slaying. I get that Seraphim had no idea Electra was his mother at the time but killing her wasn't necessary for Seraphim's survival even if Electra were nothing more than some random women Seraphim happened to stumble upon.
In all fairness, the judges are pretty reasonable here.
Yeah, Seraphim had a point but so did they; the judges were pretty terrible people in their lives but Seraphim did a lot of vile things, some of which couldn't be explained by a need for survival. They judges him fairly
& the cruelty of it
Meh... its kinda deluded when that is only used to judge people who were fucked up to begin with, but favors the ones who fuck others up.
@@felipecouto1102 You see the truth of it.
This is one of the fairest judgments I've ever seen in an animation
the judges took everything into consideration, from the abominations that the seraphim did to the small good deeds
Indeed
Small good deeds don’t redeem downright slaughter of hundreds or thousands of people. That’s some Catholic Church crap right there
Never tough of this but your right. Usually the judges in this instance would be either biased or simpleminded or something like "Yea you were forced to do X but we don't care about that so we will still judge you as if you did X out of free will". But in the show the 3 kings take every little thing in consideration and give a fair reward punishment.
Dude was still killing while facing judgement for his crimes 😂😂
Seraphim made a good point about the kings, they are guilty of evil acts too
Indeed, they sit there and judge others for good and evil acts, but in the end each are as guilty of horrible evil as those they condemn. What should be their punishment?
@@EmptyMan000wasn't that the point? The judges admit no one is without sin seraphim issue was he refused to repent or even admit he was wrong for his deeds and even in the end he blames other people for the actions he took.
@@taurusfrederick5119yeah just because the kingdoms and decent doesnt give him the right to pillage and murder and kill and raise an army of killers and monsters
@@EmptyMan000 I guess this endless job of judgement in the underworld is kind of a punishment
@@EmptyMan000arn’t they stuck in the underworld judging the sins of others for eternity. Seems a reasonable punishment
That’s a face 2:24 that says, this is wrong but the rules are the rules.
Honestly yeah, who decided that Minos could be a good judge?
1:37
What's with that face aiacos?😂
Live Minos reaction
Minos was the king who could turn anything to gold with a touch right?
@@williamsrotimi9258
That's midas,Minos was the one who trapped people in a labyrinth to feed them to the minotaur
@@ozmasterofmasks5838 oh yhhhhh tnxs.
The writers got this one mixed up.
In Greek myth there are 2 different King Minos's who ruled Crete.
The 1st was a son of Zeus, was considered wise & just leading to Crete's golden age and eventually in death became a judge of the dead for being so rad.
The 2nd Minos was his great grandson, and he was the one the one who's wife was cursed into boinking a magic bull because he got greedy & didn't want to sacrifice it to Posiedon, birthing the Minotaur.
I don't blame them for the mixup, a lot of people get confused and this was an era in history before royalty used numbers to know which Royal Richard, Henry or Liz they were referring to.
Seraphim... buddy,
If you really want to have your "You're no better than me!" Monologue taken seriously, at least get your targets right.
The King Minos before you is Minos the 1st. A son of Zeus, and in death crowned the lead judge for the afterlife because he was so wise & just in his rule he brought Crete's golden age.
He's probably wincing because your reminding him of his joke of a great Grandson Minos the 2nd. HE was the one who's wife f**ked a magic bull because M2 wouldn't sacrifice it to Posiedon. Hence the Minotaur, the labyrinth and the Athenian virgins fed to it, to keep it from stomping around causing earthquakes.
They probably just mixed up the two King Minos in one character, thats pretty common in greek mythology based adaptions
@@allissonassisalliassis6123It means they didn’t do their research
It's an anime, not actual historical myth, they can take creative liberties.
@@AlexisTheDragon Sure they can, doesn’t mean we have to like it. We want Greek mythology, they give us lazy Greek mythology.
Well in mythology there's no canon. In many sources King Minos the 1st was the step-father of the minotaur, because closer to his old age he had huge hubris, and refused to sacrifice the magic bull to Poseidon. And then continue the myth about Theseus and the Minotaur. And there's still an explanation why he made Judge of Hades (the realm). Because he still brought order to Crete, made wise and fair laws and etc. There's no canon, every version is right and wrong at the same time. Dionysus, for example, was, before Hellenistic age, god of rebirth, rather than wine. Wine was the great symbol for rebirth.
Were they legit so lazy they had to poach a punishment from the norse? Bound in place while a serpent drip poison upon you from above? Loki and Odin should sue
I mean you are not wrong but at least it's better than some shit the make today
@PromisePleasantl absolutely, but i will not accept a mud sandwich just cause its not a shit sandwich.
its called a reference
@yoyo777 to norse? Why! That dumb! Like, the greek myth is full of delightful irony, this is just cheap and put of place. Like make a mycenaean ref if needs be, something that related to a greek setting at all.
@jim-bob3093 he's name is also Seraphim. it's not the first out of greek reference.
We are seeing Loki's Punishment, and this is supposed to be about Greek Mythology not Norse Mythology.
Let me remind this guy name is Seraphim and he is supposed to be a "demon."
That ship has sailed from season 1!
I expected king minos would say : *PREPARE THYSELF*
Seraphim did the best Reading in history.
The man was spitting facts....literally.
1:10 King Minos wasn’t a saint either. He disobeyed Poseidon by not slaying the sacrificial bull.
Yeah that made him evil..not force feeding the minotaur 12 orphans or whatever every year or somethinglike that.
@@raptormage2209 he gave those innocent people to the Minotaur out of spiteful actions due to the Minotaur being the child of the bull and his wife.
@@mosescola4174 Doesn't really seem like thats the reason, according to diodorus siculus, Minos demanded tribute after the athenians killed his son Androgeus. And because according to pseudo Apollodorus the oracle of Delphi demanded the athenians to listen.
Regardless thats far more evil then not wanting to give the bull away.
Bro has had it rough for most of his life
2:14- It's too bad real courts don't have balifs like this! 😅
If they were judges in a courthouse what would the charges be for his crimes?
To be fair No one has suffered more in the series than Seraphim.
Heron suffered more he lost his mother in front of him and he was treated like garbage all his life and endured so much in that little house with that cursed village. He also became a prisoner/slave without knowing he had powers while Seraphim was granted power to ease his suffering unlike Heron.
@@altair227 Yeah, but during his whole life until Seraphim appeared, Heron was under the warmth of a caring mother, he at least felt that love for most of his life. Seraphim on the other hand had a caring adoptive mother and even some bears that protected both of them as equals, but that was until they were all hunted down, leading him to a life of struggle and violence.
@@LordofSadFac well Seraphim avenged all the people who wronged him his uncle the king/that tyrant king sons and their soldiers/ate from the giant and pledged villagers and make them slaves. Heron on the other hand while he got his mother love and Zeus in a way he felt the horrors of Seraphim when his mother was killed in front of him by Seraphim. Even in the underworld the judges told him that he inflicted his own horrors upon countless others including Heron…..
Doesn't change anything. The judges themselves took it to consideration and said that he did the same to his own mother and brother. Even though they were innocent. Hades was wrong Seraphim should stay in Tartarus. He is a big hypocrite who sees the people who wronged him as evil including their friends and families. If Heron killed his girlfriend for killing his mother he would be mad but he had no problem with killing others who are innocent
@@isaklal518 exactly Hades even stepped in for Seraphim even though what Seraphim did was more horrible than Zeus ever did yet because Hades hates Zeus he make it personal. Imo Hades is a villain he even allowed demeter to kill people and poisn the world and was ok with it. No way his a just olympian.
Seraphim was right about the Kings.
Then there is the matter of your mother…..
Bro pretty much did his best version of Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” and said, “Greek Gods got weird cases. Why are y’all around? Certified Pantheon, Certified Pedophiles.” Then he spit at them lol
I blame Zeus he made Seraphim suffer
Only so much blame can go to others for your sins.
Zeus deserve ended up in Helheim
@G1Grimlock94 Helheim is Norse mythology, not Greek.
@@trueblue6201 we all know, in God of War 4 Zeus was ended up in Helheim after his death
@@G1Grimlock94that was an illusion
You all say he had no good reason to kill innocents, if you even know they are.
But there is, to punish the world and make them understand his own pain, so all would go to their graves knowing what this world had done to him, instead of in the blissful ignornace he never got to have.
that is good reason for you?? it appears you don't understand "good reason" after all.
And then everyone can do the same and the world will end!
Grow a pair the world is harsh and nature is amoral and unforgiving take your immoral attitude that is the most arrogant and narcissistic way of thinking and put it where the sun won't shine.
Even though i like season 1 I think some of these 'wannabee Anime' have very bland designs and mostly animation (not quality).
Its like they just shallowly look at what anime is.
Castlevania as well, its high quality but it is still not Anime. Even the script shows this.
Real Anime have a way to convey dynamic with framework. Even newer Japanese production dont always meet 90s anime. Just watch Sailor Moon transformations comparison from 90s VS new. The 90s have much more smooth and dynamic animation.
This is in season 2 or 3??? I did this trial in season 2
Season three hasn’t come out yet. So this takes place in season two.
