@@combatantezoteric2965 might be ULQ warrior...When I was sweaty grinder I used ULQ as it leaves some buildings unrendered at medium distances and you can then actually snipe someone using 3rd person view. It is so broken how the tanks render perfectly but it leaves the buildings unrendered.

Maybe, but when he's in his FW-190 he can't hit a slow moving plane at all at relatively close range, yet when he's in a tank he somehow manages to kill people who he shouldn't even know are there, and if he's gonna buy his way up with eagles, why not buy some other vehicle like the KA-50 and some top tier Russian MBT's to go with it, or the new harriers, or something else OP so he can do the same thing as he is now without having to hack?
My guess is he also has aim assist and it shoots when it goes over a spot where he can pen. That might be why as a plane he always shot at the plane and did not give his shots any lead.

Yesterday I got one in 3.3 who climbed up a hill behind his spawn and nailed my crew in turn through the chest. No suspicion there. Next. I spawn a plane and try to bomb him off his glitched hill. (It was a hill u aren’t supposed to get to) and he turned to look at me and would have nailed me with his gun if I hadn’t dodged. He then set me on fire with his second mg shell. Then I spawn a tank in my spawn, and he turns from the entire map and nailed me in the middle of the turret without rangefinding. He shot me until I died, only turning away to one shot someone across on the other spawn or hidden behind a hill without rangefinding them either. Skill like that to hit a moving target repetedly in different locations from across the entire map without even ranging them and killing planes with their second mg shells don’t exist much less at that br.
it also doesnt explain seeing through multiple blocks of buildings (M18 and BT5 100% he wouldn't have been able to hear) he also has an ally next to him in the case of the bt5

You can't go 'player view' in the server games, and in local replays you can only see what the other players are seeing if they are in your area of awareness, which is why I went server replay. Try loading the server replay (not your local replay) and see if you can find player view. If you do, let me know how you did it.

The first 2 looks alright to me. The 3rd kill could have been a call out by his teammate or it could have been scouted. The 4th kill was honest but then we get to kill nr:5, thats where it starts getting strange. He doesnt check his corners and he doesnt check any of the other common spots where tanks normaly stand.
i don't understand how people are going in defense against it, the bt-5 clip just made it so clear that the guy was using something else besides 'skill' to assist him with that kill.

Yeah the proof is in how he plays the plane vs the tank. You can't be some ace tank guy at level 13 and then total shit in a bf190. When i watched the tank at first i thought maybe he was lucky, but then you see how he plays the rest of the game. He was clearly cheating.
Doesn’t look like cheating to me most of those kills were just good crosshair positioning and the ones where they were close he could’ve heard the engine none of those kills looked suspicious to me
Ah yes. Good crosshair skills and listen for engines can make you aim at a BT-5 who is driving through the woods and behind a building to your right even if you yourself are moving and looking forwards, not playing the objective and going straight into the enemy spawn.

Up until the BT-5 it was plausible he's just a smurf, using good headphones to listen and C to look around corners (coming from someone with 3000+ hours), but that BT-5 does it.
Idk about that, I honestly think that they could be a much higher level player using a smirf account, also there could be other things involved here such as: enemies might have been spotted, he's using max volume to hear enemies even without seeing them, he could be on discord with other members of the squad in order to get call-outs on where the enemy is at and simple luck. Sometimes I kill people through smoke with a blind shot myself, that doesn't mean I'm a cheater. Also this guy clearly knows this map good enough to know where the enemies might come out, and there's hotspots in every map where it's more probable to find enemies. My conclusion is that this guy is 99% not cheating
Agreed. Guy just knows what he is doing, plus it's arcade. I turn my engine sound all the way down or off...whichever it is. Also, at the beginning of battles, I've lobbed shells all the way across maps and gotten a bunch of hits and a kill or 3. Doesn't mean I'm cheating. Firing into smoke, getting a kill...everybody does it. Won't comment on the plane cause I don't play them. Some people just get really good at this game really fast.
Until 2:11 i was thinking it defenitly can be done by playing with the enemi engine Sounds. But no, all the kills near their spawn are abnormal. I'm affraid to see how it can be difficult to spot a guys using those cheats and now I understand the paranoia now in game.
I believe they are not, the BT-5 literally crossed his road, it's a matter of split seconds to squeeze the trigger in those cases, also the kills near spawn look ok to me: they are all crossing his road
I am very new to wt and first thought there's some really talented players. then the thought hit me! cheaters! someone shot me through a rock they were behind. another I shot and the tank just backed up and killed me. that one may have had powerful armor but i'm suspicious he didn't try to get out of the way. there's also been some very long kills on me, the replay lasts forever, lol, and I suspect a cheater. i hope there's not as many as I think. still a fun game. There are times when I shoot mostly blind thru distant trees because I calculate to where the shots are coming from. Once in a while I get lucky and get a hit, I suppose I could be accused of cheating b/c it's a lucky albeit calculated shot.
Engine noise.....its what I use to know about tanks on the other side of buildings using a headset. Helps if you turn down the volume on your own engines. You can tell by looking at the map if they're yours or not. Mixed with low graphics (not something I can personally stand to look at) it explains a lot about this.
The problem is that we are in 3rd person view so it is not reliable. The best would have been to see the replay in player view, we could easily see if it is cheating or if it uses binoculars correctly, the sounds (very important the sound in WT), etc.
Been playing for years, and just now today I came across my first very obvious cheater, guy in an IS-6 killed my team mate while I was heading to his position to help, peeked the corner in third person before actually sticking my tank out and he's already dead staring right at me, artillery going off around him and a good distance down the road from so there's no way he heard me, and he was alone, but he never moved his tank or turret away from my position, until I backed up further away from the corner, then he decides to come my way, and ofcourse it's gaijin so when he does start to round the corner already looking right at me my shot to his barrel does nothing and he then one taps me no problem
I love it when you kill them every time they spawn and run out of spawn points and they send you a message saying you are cheating then they black list you

i play the naval battles and sometimes i have the feeling that some people hacked the shit out of the game because they simple won't die when i pump their ship full of led, but as soon they hit me with a single bullit, then i'm dead and that is soooooo frustrating! And i don't like it when players run out of ships and a massive air/sea battle starts halfway each session, because then there's no ship left and all you can do is battle against aircrafts.
I find it or thunder there’s a lot of cheaters you know using exploits dumbing down your video card shooting through walls rocks mountains sometimes I got to stop playing the game for a while
It's actually hard since I kinda play in the same manner. I use everything to my advantage especially to pinpoint the enemy, senses plays a huge part. Engine sounds, machine gun sounds, slight sounds in the distance of things breaking, slight movements, then there's a sense where you develop where you can kinda feel where the enemy may be, and sometimes you have to put yourself in the enemy's shoes like "if I was him I'd poke in this corner" etc. There are also cases where I just fix my gun to a corner while pressing down "C" to watch my surroundings without moving my turret. Sometimes if there is debris blocking the view of the gun sight, I use my commander scope to fix my gun on the target. Tho I can say that BT-5 and T20 kill were kinda sus in a way. It's really hard to tell. Could be a cheater, or he could also be a vet player with new account. I've already reported 4 cheat engines to Gaijin years ago, and Easy Anti Cheat is actually doing pretty well against 3rd party apps
@@bram5338 Welp, a prop or a jet, you still gotta know that you need to lead the enemy plane to hit it with guns. And this guy just shot constantly with the crosshair on the plane. I very rarely play planes (and when i do, i play AB) and even i know that you gotta lead the target.
The thing is the way he drives, no one gives broadside toward enemy spawn in the open. You always hold angles and guess where the enemy comes from. Too much confidence.
Yesterday a cheater with lvl 11 got 20 kills, i saved the replay and reported all his actions (20 reports over 24 hrs). The problem is gaijin gets a share from hack sells just like all game developers.

for me its fine, as long as you're using a keyboard and mouse, which Xbox does support fully. the only problem is that there are no graphic options whatsoever. so you're at an automatic disadvantage when the mega tryhard german kv1 driver with bushes plastered all over their tank with minimum foliage setting + turned off shadows is rofl stomping everyone that just wants to have a fun game that dosent look like total horseshit with minimun graphics.
I had my first 7.3 at lvl 15 its not hard now to get 6.3 at lvl 13 with a prem acc. And im not any noob which you probably think I am. I have played for 5 years and generally throughout then it was easy to get a tier 3 or 4 in no time.
I hate how jaded this game player-base is about this game. We all know it's a huge problem but no one can do anything about it and Gaijin is adamantly focused on the idea of even acknowledging the problem without realizing they could have done something about it a long time ago, if it wasn't for the fact that they are making so much money off the Chinese player-base and their cheating.
Agreed he is cheating , I have 497 hours and I'm level 53, it's pretty easy to tell that hes cheating regardless of his level, even if the cheater was level 100 it would be very easy to tell that hes cheating, level means nothing.
The BT 5 kill at 3:15 I believe was legit. Someone on his team scouted it. In your video you can clearly see that its been scouted by the white arrow. From that point on you can see the faded red icon of the player moving behind the buildings which he then tracks with his main gun and eventually kills it.

im new to this game and at first i thought there was no hackers bcuz thats their slogan when un run the game. But after a few weeks i been playing with ppl that always know where are the enemys and they are always looking to the right direction in every corner, and not to mention aimbots.
That's the Chinese players for you. Since Gajin opened the game up to them, the cheating and hacking has gotten waaay worse. It's usually Chinese players who are doing the cheating.
ngl chief, but this Tiger ii is playing like somebody with a good headset, you keep saying there's no way he could see them, wellcmaybe that's because he hears them, to alot of peoples suprise sound is very important to being a good player in War Thunder. Then there are plenty of other reasons as to why he preformed well such as say he's a console player who just got a pc, since console is much harder to fly planes or he may just not know how planes work all too well. He could also have just made a new acc to grind through a tree again but have never played planes too much still.
That's a good point. However, When he gets that BT5 there are a few friendlies near him, all with engines. If this was Fulda I'd agree, but he's got friendlies all around him on a city map.

The problem is that the replay is in 3rd person mode. And not in player view mode. However the rare times when I suspected of cheating on WT, I went on the replay in player view mode to see exactly how the player played. And each time it was just a great use of binoculars and sound in space. For example in WT I always play headphones, and when an enemy tank risks going out in one of the two streets, well I turn my camera and thanks to the sound I can locate where the tank comes from. Also the aim bot in WT would have almost no chance of functioning because of ballistics, the aim bot would target only the middle of the tank and if one fires the shell with strong chances to fall on the ground.

You've probably discovered this in the 2 years since you posted this; but if you load up your SERVER replay of a match, you can go to any player and select camera position "2" which will show you what they were seeing (and not seeing).
I recently encountered a cheater in wt he was a kv2 I shot his turret crew is out and he is also on fire but all of a sudden the fire was out and the crew was perfectly fine no modules where dmg too
I have learned to play WT at night, there's literally no cheaters at that time, simply because all those little weaners been told by their parents to go to sleep, they have a school to attend next day morning ;) .
Also have you even considered the fact that others can mark where the enemy is on the map as that is a big attention attractor. I know if someone mark out enemy on map and they're near me I would start to react to counter.
Yeah he was pretty much given the blessing of doubt, allowing for good headphones etc.. right up until the BT-5 Shot.. He couldn't have known the BT5 was speeding along there with buildings in the way at that range.
If you press 2 or semicolon, ";" then it shows the players screen, or at least their view point. Some other helpful buttons during replays ... page up -- speeds time up page down -- slows time down space -- pause You can change those in settings but those are default.
He is using a headset to spot enemies after he has stopped his tank to listen. all of these kills from around corners were legitimately playing by sound. He may also just be using a smurf account while also spending GE to get to 6.3.

Hi, can i ask how you get to see the other players location when playing the replay. I play my replays and look at a suspicious enemy but must of the time I cannot see him i get the message player location unknown. Is it in the setting somewhere to reveal him.

I suggest watching the replays with "player's view". It's much easier to spot what they're doing when looking with them through their gun sight.
Note: you cant do players view when doing a server replay.

Like I said practice your mini map situational awareness, then you can cheat like me and get mad because it is not always correct. That mini-map gets me into trouble when it's not correct. Like telling me only one tank is in an area I'm attacking. When I get there I run into half a dozen enemy tanks...

What about "glitches" like when we shoot at the sametime, I hear my gun fire and even see a good hit "in the side armor" but nothing seems to happen to them when I get one shot through my frontal armor???

The first 2 looks alright to me. The 3rd kill could have been a call out by his teammate or it could have been scouted. The 4th kill was honest but then we get to kill nr:5, thats where it starts getting strange. He doesnt check his corners and he doesnt check any of the other common spots where tanks normaly stand.
This is not player view, he might have swiftly checked his left before pushing the KV-2
i don't understand how people are going in defense against it, the bt-5 clip just made it so clear that the guy was using something else besides 'skill' to assist him with that kill.

Yeah the proof is in how he plays the plane vs the tank. You can't be some ace tank guy at level 13 and then total shit in a bf190. When i watched the tank at first i thought maybe he was lucky, but then you see how he plays the rest of the game. He was clearly cheating.

Ah yes. Good crosshair skills and listen for engines can make you aim at a BT-5 who is driving through the woods and behind a building to your right even if you yourself are moving and looking forwards, not playing the objective and going straight into the enemy spawn.

Idk about that, I honestly think that they could be a much higher level player using a smirf account, also there could be other things involved here such as: enemies might have been spotted, he's using max volume to hear enemies even without seeing them, he could be on discord with other members of the squad in order to get call-outs on where the enemy is at and simple luck.
Sometimes I kill people through smoke with a blind shot myself, that doesn't mean I'm a cheater.
Also this guy clearly knows this map good enough to know where the enemies might come out, and there's hotspots in every map where it's more probable to find enemies.
My conclusion is that this guy is 99% not cheating
Agreed. Guy just knows what he is doing, plus it's arcade. I turn my engine sound all the way down or off...whichever it is. Also, at the beginning of battles, I've lobbed shells all the way across maps and gotten a bunch of hits and a kill or 3. Doesn't mean I'm cheating. Firing into smoke, getting a kill...everybody does it. Won't comment on the plane cause I don't play them. Some people just get really good at this game really fast.

I've seen this in live matches; a player literally drove up to me and fired around a corner with no ability to see my tank at any point.
I am very new to wt and first thought there's some really talented players. then the thought hit me! cheaters! someone shot me through a rock they were behind. another I shot and the tank just backed up and killed me. that one may have had powerful armor but i'm suspicious he didn't try to get out of the way. there's also been some very long kills on me, the replay lasts forever, lol, and I suspect a cheater. i hope there's not as many as I think. still a fun game. There are times when I shoot mostly blind thru distant trees because I calculate to where the shots are coming from. Once in a while I get lucky and get a hit, I suppose I could be accused of cheating b/c it's a lucky albeit calculated shot.
Engine noise.....its what I use to know about tanks on the other side of buildings using a headset. Helps if you turn down the volume on your own engines. You can tell by looking at the map if they're yours or not. Mixed with low graphics (not something I can personally stand to look at) it explains a lot about this.

The problem is that we are in 3rd person view so it is not reliable.
The best would have been to see the replay in player view, we could easily see if it is cheating or if it uses binoculars correctly, the sounds (very important the sound in WT), etc.

Been playing for years, and just now today I came across my first very obvious cheater, guy in an IS-6 killed my team mate while I was heading to his position to help, peeked the corner in third person before actually sticking my tank out and he's already dead staring right at me, artillery going off around him and a good distance down the road from so there's no way he heard me, and he was alone, but he never moved his tank or turret away from my position, until I backed up further away from the corner, then he decides to come my way, and ofcourse it's gaijin so when he does start to round the corner already looking right at me my shot to his barrel does nothing and he then one taps me no problem
The fact that you said "Really good player" to someone who checked around the corner worries me

i play the naval battles and sometimes i have the feeling that some people hacked the shit out of the game because they simple won't die
when i pump their ship full of led, but as soon they hit me with a single bullit, then i'm dead and that is soooooo frustrating!
And i don't like it when players run out of ships and a massive air/sea battle starts halfway each session, because then there's no ship left

I find it or thunder there’s a lot of cheaters you know using exploits dumbing down your video card shooting through walls rocks mountains sometimes I got to stop playing the game for a while
There was a spreadsheet going around where buildings etc. where listed which you can shoot through tho.
It's actually hard since I kinda play in the same manner. I use everything to my advantage especially to pinpoint the enemy, senses plays a huge part. Engine sounds, machine gun sounds, slight sounds in the distance of things breaking, slight movements, then there's a sense where you develop where you can kinda feel where the enemy may be, and sometimes you have to put yourself in the enemy's shoes like "if I was him I'd poke in this corner" etc. There are also cases where I just fix my gun to a corner while pressing down "C" to watch my surroundings without moving my turret. Sometimes if there is debris blocking the view of the gun sight, I use my commander scope to fix my gun on the target. Tho I can say that BT-5 and T20 kill were kinda sus in a way.
It's really hard to tell. Could be a cheater, or he could also be a vet player with new account. I've already reported 4 cheat engines to Gaijin years ago, and Easy Anti Cheat is actually doing pretty well against 3rd party apps

The thing is the way he drives, no one gives broadside toward enemy spawn in the open. You always hold angles and guess where the enemy comes from. Too much confidence.

Yesterday a cheater with lvl 11 got 20 kills, i saved the replay and reported all his actions (20 reports over 24 hrs). The problem is gaijin gets a share from hack sells just like all game developers.

Agreed he is cheating , I have 497 hours and I'm level 53, it's pretty easy to tell that hes cheating regardless of his level, even if the cheater was level 100 it would be very easy to tell that hes cheating, level means nothing.
The BT 5 kill at 3:15 I believe was legit. Someone on his team scouted it. In your video you can clearly see that its been scouted by the white arrow. From that point on you can see the faded red icon of the player moving behind the buildings which he then tracks with his main gun and eventually kills it.
He ought to demand his money back for that overlay for not including air.

The problem is that the replay is in 3rd person mode. And not in player view mode. However the rare times when I suspected of cheating on WT, I went on the replay in player view mode to see exactly how the player played. And each time it was just a great use of binoculars and sound in space.
For example in WT I always play headphones, and when an enemy tank risks going out in one of the two streets, well I turn my camera and thanks to the sound I can locate where the tank comes from.
Also the aim bot in WT would have almost no chance of functioning because of ballistics, the aim bot would target only the middle of the tank and if one fires the shell with strong chances to fall on the ground.

You've probably discovered this in the 2 years since you posted this; but if you load up your SERVER replay of a match, you can go to any player and select camera position "2" which will show you what they were seeing (and not seeing).

Also have you even considered the fact that others can mark where the enemy is on the map as that is a big attention attractor. I know if someone mark out enemy on map and they're near me I would start to react to counter.

If you press 2 or semicolon, ";" then it shows the players screen, or at least their view point.
Some other helpful buttons during replays ...
page up -- speeds time up
page down -- slows time down
space -- pause
You can change those in settings but those are default.

Hi, can i ask how you get to see the other players location when playing the replay. I play my replays and look at a suspicious enemy but must of the time I cannot see him i get the message player location unknown. Is it in the setting somewhere to reveal him.
