You should do a speaker system upgrade. I heard that the stock speaker system is underwhelming and seeing an installation video would be helpful for a lot of people. It would also make a great addition to the car!
TPS stand for Throttle Position Sensor. And basically yeah, its where (in a percentage) your ecu things your throttle is at. 0% being none and 100% being WOT.
I would've went with the Hondata Pro. No separate screen required because the data is on your infotainment system screen. Once you flash, there is no trace because you can flash back to factory preset before a dealership visit.
You can flash back to factory with ktuner. Also a dealer would not be able to see that you tuned the car but they will know because they will see that the car had been flashed before.
What’s the best tune if I daily drive my 2018 Honda Civic hatchback sport 6speed manual I have the prl cobra cai and that’s basically it right now I eventually wanna buy like those down pipes and stuff but rn I just have the cai and the ktuner with the phearable 1.5 coming on Tuesday I just wanna know the best daily tune to use
I've been using the Phearable 1.5 for a while now. It's great and reliable for daily. Best to keep Phearable at Map 1 or Map 2 for longevity. Personally, I am using it strictly on Map 1.
Have you tried the TSP Stage 1 tune? I’ve been reading and those that have compared it to KTuners basemaps say that it’s better. Will give it a try when the KTuner comes in
Yes. It’s paired with a prl Sri. No concerns so far. Just don’t launch the car everywhere you go. The stage 1 base tune has been proven to be a reliable tune while still giving you that extra power!
@@chris_timefk8 do you know if there are blind mirrors designed for specific cars? I know each car mirror has a specific shape so it would be much cleaner if there are blind sport mirrors designed for that shape
I have the same exact set up as you! 2021 hatchback sport ill send it to your email. And if you go back to your setting and enable CAN GATEWAY. That's when it turns on when you turn on your car and off when you shut off. Big fan keep up them video bruhh!😁👍
What sort of catback exhaust system would you recommend for the 2021 Sport Hatch. I've been looking into some and would love some recommendations. Thanks!
I have a 2020 honda civic sport 2.0 cvt can i install this to mine will it damage it? Plz help ive been debating for a tuner for months now and cant make up my minddd
With any tune it’ll eventually damage parts over time. I have a 2018 hatch cvt with the Ktune v1.2, I have it at stage 2 and I only use 93 gas. Obviously it’ll damage my turbo overtime with all the spooling and it being more aggressive but that takes time to happen. Just dont beat your acceleration up too much off stops and you’ll be fine for the most part. But if you do decide to do a tune just be prepared to replace parts in your engine (over time of course). Also some dealerships are anal about the warranty and will nitpick over the smallest things so tuning your car will more than likely void your warranty even if you restore it back to factory.
@@user-cd3hd1ob5m I'm still torn on which one to go with. Seems like everyone on the x gen Facebook groups swear by ktuner. However, hondata has been in the game from way back. I remember the early 2000's and everyone wanted hondata.

@@user-cd3hd1ob5m I just remember back in like 2001-2007 everyone used hondata. I'll probably go with that since it's probably the safest route for my civic and what I intend on doing. Which isn't much honestly.

How has Ktuner been on a CVT? What are the limitations? How's the simulated gearing? How aggresive is your tune?

Good to know! Thank you 😀

Road to 10k
Everyone does reviews after a few weeks. Not any longer can you do an updated version? Or is it the same?
Oh damn back to the civic

Hey Kris! Did you ever figure out how to make the lights work???
That build wrap is clean
Hey Chris will using 87 octane fuel would damage the engine? I'm picking this baby up next week =) great video!
Overtime yes
Is this paired with the intake? Any worries about the cvt?
Yes. It’s paired with a prl Sri. No concerns so far. Just don’t launch the car everywhere you go.

Hey Chris! I just bought a brand new 2021 civic hatchback sport too, but I notice on my Average fuel A it says 20.8. Why yours is Average fuel A 25.8?
where did you get that blind spot mirror????? I swear I need that on my hatch. share the link
go to your local walmart, and the auto section should have it. if not, go to a local autozone, they should definitely have it.
Amazon. There are better ones out there but I’ll follow up with a link once I find it 😀

Is it beneficial for engines without a turbo?
yesssss!!!
Hey Chris, u thinking about getting a catted or catless down pipe soon?
Hey I’m looking to start making videos on my 16’ civic X I’ve been modding. Any input on what would make good content? :)
Great job Chris 🔥📸
Hey sorry if this has been answered or in another video but what mods do you have? Sounds like an intake and maybe an axel back but I could be wrong
What type of gas do you use? 87 or 91?
91 minimum.

Ktuner worth it?
How much HP/Torque is it at now?
Is there any way to use a tuner without the engine error lights? Or a way to flash tune into ECU of car?
The lights go away after u drive it
So does the ktuner make the top speed go more than 125?
Yes. It removes the limiter
Limiter? I hit 147 in my 19 civic sport coupe 2.0 cvt
if you go with ktuner, can you switch to hondata in the future?
I don’t see why not! 😀
Honda Civic review nice lol

Remark
Can I install this with my civic hatchback 2019 CVT?
Yes.
You have the 1.5 diesel Honda right?
Nope. I have the 1.5 gas/petrol one.
any tunes for a 2023 Civic Sport Hatchback?
The Ktuner works with it

you should setup a 2step. if you can 😁
Maybe Hondata is better
Maybe ? Hondata is way ahead of ktuner
