Do you think the oasisaur is pay to win?
Not really
only because you have to pay to tame it and use it :) by buying the bob tall tales season pass for 30$ :)
[No? Maybe?] The reason I put a question mark is because I myself am unsure of how good it is in pvp. I am a PvE player and I think it's not completely pay to win. It does help you in your adventure through Ark but it doesn't give you an absolute huge advantage by just buying it.

@@Mancker In Pvp you can take another tribes dino soul and revive it as your own. So lets say you just started playing and killed someone's giga that has been on since day one and has lets say 50 mutations into melee after getting 60 point tame so 110 points into melee. You can now take that soul and start breeding gigas with 110 points into melee without ever having to have tamed a giga.
It being massive also allows players to use its body to los turrets
@@CamwayGaming yeah I understand that but anything like using it to soak turrets and whatnot I'm not too informed about. I don't really do PVP so I'm unsure of how good it would be to soak turrets or use the body to block them or whatever ppl could do but thank you for the help
I have to say, I'm glad the Oasisaur is a gentle giant who has no intentions of breaking the game.
It's really sad that the map was designed well, with wyvern as the main flier and only large flying dino. You had to work hard for them. And couldn't easily soak pillar bases.
I mean it should be able to use its feet to make a extremely powerful stomp to attack or something

@@captainamericaandcaptainma3337 it could but the intention is that it's not entirely pay to win. They made it passive because if they didn't it would be too op and unfair to ppl who didn't pay for it

Our oaisy must be broken because it wouldnt eat potted trees it nearly died b4 we figured out how to feed it makes me wonder if it makes a difference in what you do to the potted plant i made the tree smaller in the pot for decoration and it did not eat gonna science this now thanks for the video was very helpful
I'm glad it helped! Sometimes dinos just do not eat after an update and it may be until another update before they do and you have to force feed them to keep them alive.
This issue along with knocked out dinos not eating and taming is becoming quite common in ASA
About how long until the resources spawn
Can we use it like quetzal to build sky base on it? Or it's like titanosaur?
You can build on it. The buildable region is not huge but you can get some nice builds on it. Careful about going to high though there is a death barrier.

no lol Players can cut this down easy with guns and compound bows. A determined player can do it with a pike for bow lol
What does it eat? Also i used a fire wyvern i havent watched and tutorials. Use fire only not bite it will kill it 😂. I aim fire straight forward. I wait for all the vulture to come at the same time and fire.
I'd personally use it as a mobile crafting area
My oasisaur dont eat the plant someone can help me? Is a bug?
The oasissaur has 2 inventory's. Are you putting the potted plant into the inventory where you get the resources from?
If so that is why.
Access the inventory from somewhere not near the pool of water.
If that is not the case and you are giving it potted plants and it is not eating them try force feeding and see if that works.
Sometimes dinos just not eat after an update and until another update and you just have to force feed them.
This is something they mostly fixed in ASE but could be back in ASA

if the enemy dino is neutered does it transfer to the new dino?
I don't think it did at first but after a recent update the nuetering stays so no stealing blood lines if the enemy neutered. You could still clone though so if you get better line you can clone until your line catches up
@@CamwayGaming Honestly probably peanuts compared to just blowing up an unaware player and getting all their cryopods. Or destroying someones base while they're offline and getting all the cryopods in the cryofridges. 24 hour cooldown on rezing dinosaurs. When you tame the Oasisaur, it immediately goes on cooldown, and the essence you used to tame it doesn't get brought back to life. I imagine Oasisaurs get killed in PvP pretty quickly, probably before they even get to rez a dino. If a Tribe can afford to keep one alive for 24 hours, chances are that same tribe is the only one on the server that's going to have big high mutated dinos. I'd say stealing cryopods off of bodies/bases is an easier way to get stolen dinos.
@@RandDesu When you say 24 hours do you just mean able to keep other players from killing it?
@@CamwayGaming when you finish taming it, the rez goes on cooldown for 24hrs. Can't rez anything for 24 hours after taming. Can't steal essence and then go tame an oasisaur to rez it, it'll expire as those also have a 24 hour spoil timer. So your oasisaur needs to survive over 24 hours to have any use.
@@RandDesu Ok you meant if not killed. A lot of players think the oasisasaur is a titan and only lives for 24 hours.
Fire and lightning does hurt oasisaur. I have one tamed on official Pve
After it is tamed yes but if your aiming the breath attacks at the areas with the vultures right over the water it does not while it is wild. I'm sure if I went to the body and hit it it would damage the oasasisaur, but if a dino bites in the air right where the vultures are the oasisaur takes damage
it is also possible that they patched it so that it now takes damage from breath attacks in the pool if you tried this during the taming process and it didn't work.
They have changed quite a few things with the oasisaur since day 1.
Cant access the inventory for his material any help
ya its a bug with the oasisaur that started after an update after I made the video. Logging off and back in is the only way I have gotten it to fix but that doesn't work 100% of the time. I have one that no matter what I do I cannot access the material inventory .

@@brunoj.machosky4716 hopefully they fix this soon. When it fist came out you could elect how much to have it refill at a time they took that away and broke access to it.

So did you solo it? You heavily edited after going over the wyverns.
Ya I did solo it but it takes more rounds on officials making it really hard to solo early game.
I see the inventory but not the oasis inventory
Ya its a new issue I have been trying to figure out how to fix it. Sometimes it fixes when I log out and back in but that's it so far and it doesn't always work.

Use a rex. MUCH fewer rounds easy tame.
Ya a rex is around 900 drag weight and a paracer is 950 so they are close and a bronto is 1000 but not on scorched yet.
Its nice for 5g towers but its squishy
ya it doesn't need hp though dead bodies los turrets this thing will block so many turrets. OF course if players are online they can much the body but we have done the megachlon drop with players online a lot and get the job done before the body can be eaten.

@@JessNW0lfG4NG ?? What are you referring to? Do you mean because it tames with 0 food? You can feed it I go over that in the video and keep it indefinitely as long as no one kills it. Only players with the Bobs Tall Tale packs can collect the food for it though.
