Hey so just be aware that just like in ASE the rock golem will always lose efficiency when you are knocking it out with this type of trap due to the splash damage hitting the body which lowers the effectiveness. You should brainstorm a trap like the old cpt fatdog trap where the body is isolated from the head so only the head gets hit and you don’t splash the body which reduces the tame effectiveness.
It is at most a 1 to 2 level difference. The trap you are referring to I have never seen used on officials and even Cpt Fatdog is unsure if it actually works on officials.

Take a PT, put the PT on “high/4” follow, have it follow you, hover it above right above golem head, when you see that the golem can no longer hit the pt, JUMP off pt, put your cannon out DONE
Doesn't really work like that in ASA did in ASE if you get lucky enough for the golem to not aggro you when you jump off, it will when you hit it with the cannon. I tried this way first.

@anthonyeastes4859 in my experience the gollum has issues staying aggro on argy. A lymantria works great though
