You tame it by when your creature dies (bigger creature means faster tames) take their souls and place it in the water then defend the soul from incoming attacks (vultures from what I saw) when you complete a wave, the taming meter goes up
if you dismount while flying it uses no stam to stay in air. if you put stuff in a vault or storage box it counts as weight. structures do not count. how ever if you put resources in a tame they only count as a percentage to the oasis. and if you use a tame with weight reduction its even less. like argy or anky or dodi. i suggest that if you get one build your base and stock it. then find out how much weight you need... after that pump it all in to speed if you have that enabled. if not then put it all in weight... also the size nothing attacks this thing so pve don't bother with health.
How do you feed it?
U feed it by giving it pots. U make the pots in ur inventory and then shovel small bushes to make the pots green. Then place them in its inventory and itll eat it. Cant force feed it either or atleast it wouldn't for me. Wont eat large tree pot. Hope that helps
To tame you need to kill a tame, collect its soul an place in the waters. Than defend that tame (lager carry weight the better) there are many waves if smaller tame. Snipper an pump work best. Once tamed you WILL lose that creature you where bringing back so don't use your favorite. Also after tamed you must wait 24 hrs till next revival.

teach, for taming you need something that drops from a dead tame of yours from when it died, whether by ur hand or exploring then you grab that and put into the pool inventory, then you have to defend it while it is resurecting said deceased tame similar to osd's on extinction
Kill Giga (any dino i believe) harvest it, dropped inventory has a "soul" put "soul" in "soul" water (not in regular inventory) and defend from creaters trying to eat it... i haven't tamed it yet fully, because need better shotgun, or better weapon...
id love to know how many foundations the oasisaur is wide/long for size comparison for those like me who dont have the pack yet.
it looks about the size of my small tribes island village but want to know specifics of how much can be built on it
A teach, my question is, do you get less resources? The more items you place on it's back or do you or does that not matter?

Stam regen while hovering is a server setting you can toggle.
Do you know if you build on its back if you don't get passive mats?
Does it protect you from bad weather and can you cryo pod it if there’s no structures built on it? Can you set it to follow you?

The taming is crazy fun
Generators get damaged during lightning storms. Might wanna try a see if you can place a wind turbine instead

resources will build up on its back then break and go in its inventory... if you build on it i have no idea yet if it still generates resources you can also build 4 walls high so keep that in mind.
i will say its VERY fast on land, surprisingly
I wish that were the case for it flying but hey, fast ground speed for a walking base is always welcome
Depends what type of server your using but these boys are quick flyers on boosted 😂😂😂

Im very surprised at how seemingly balanced they are so far. Its slow as hell, tanky (but its a base that's necessary), and generally really interesting.
More testing shall be conducted.
I had two. Both times when I logged in, they were in the ground and I lost everything.including a phoenix . Is this a known bug or a way to prevent this.?
U just have to close app and load back up. Had this happen a number of times but we're still going strong. Same thing with structures missing but same method brings it back after a couple trys
I have a question for the community, I have one tamed, it’s at full health, and food, yet won’t provide passive resources is there something I’m missing?

Oasisaur summary: How to tame it; You kill one of your creatures (Unclaimed works too for some reason, but OmenHunter's comment is wrong, you or one of your creatures HAS to kill it) bring to the extremely rare oasisaur and start the resurrecting sequence. When taming you lose the creature, I recommend using a high level paracer, easy to kill with a good wyvern and doesn't have many attacks. You have to defend the floating fetus of the creature you sacrificed from vultures. (I recommend doing this once an ascendant pump action shotgun is obtained.) Uses; As shown in the video, once tamed it passively generates materials. There are other upsides, such as being able to place platforms and several useful things on its back, which means you can use it as a portable base. It has several downsides, however. One example is it is unable to attack. Another is its TERRIBLE speeds, and another is its extremely slow resource generation. If you get them for passive resource generation, do not stop at getting one. It will never be enough. NEVER.
are they on official pvp servers?
The treasure maps act like I dont have the DLC and the tame says its locked whenever I try to tame it. I don't understand.

I honestly love the concept for these guys, its going to be a pvp hell zone because of meshing tho, its just a shame they did not keep going with them to actually enhance the map for example if could dig down leaving the top exposed so you can have your own oasis where ever you want to build as well as body shape and size variants to match what we might want to do. Sadly with that company i dont see it improving at all i can only hope modders can make a improved amazing base love bug.
Will likely never live on one of these properly cuz having all ur tames chasing after the crab would be chaos but ill take the no maintenance grenhouse and free resources

so long as it has food it will produce resources, so make sure to feed it with pot plants
Not directly related to the video but is the SE map a paid DLC? I already have all the maps on the original Ark and I don't want to pay for them again.

All u gotta do is kill a tame and grab its soul go to a wild oasissaur and put the tames soul in it then protect it while vultures get it so not only do you get an oasissaur you also get your tames life back(unless the vultures destroy it in the process)

if you want to spawn it on singleplayer or in your own server the code is GMSUMMON Oasisaur_Character_BP_C 1 put whatever lvl you want it to be as the number at the end.

Make a pot in ur inventory and shovel any small plant/bush. Will turn the pot green. Then place the pots in the inventory for it to eat it. Had to upload mine from dying till I got the pot made. Hope that helps
