My only complaint so far is just the frequency of storm events. Every time one is over the Jerboas are right back to signaling again

This makes me really excited for aberration, can't wait to see what kinds of TLC they do for future maps. Maybe we'll finally get to see the aberrant megalania spawning in its home map, it would be legitimately useful there

That would be cool, as well as new variants, like Aberrant Oviraptor, as he is basically a must have dino now. Also some changes would be great, like a more balanced Reaper Queen tameable, enable breed to Basilisk and Karkinos, also make Karkinos be able to use his upper claws (in ASE Dev Kit he had animations for that, including new attacks and grab animations). And a final stuff that can be end game, a new system in Tek Suit to allow explore the surface during day-time, as getting the Explorer Notes in the surface is quite annoying because of the sun frying you.

Go through the process of adding a new stat for a creature: water for Morelatops.
It does at work at all, and all points put into it have 0 effect. Nice!

Haha it's crazy, very inconsistent, I do feel like it's unintentionally meant to work the way it is, what do you think? Weird how the Scorched weapons work and the base game weapons don't :D

great video, really helpful tbh, i had no idea about a few of these, especially the mushroom and rare flower bush spawns! I have been struggling to get rare flowers even with a therizino delicate specced so i'll defs be taking it in there to have a crack at those bushes!

with the Generators i believe they still take damage in storms , so still have to keep an eye but not as watchful as before , i had mine take damage , cant confirm it was storms as i was offline but there was nothing inside my base to deal damage to it
Seems odd it's only got a bit of damage, I've honestly had mine up for the entire week on a Nitrado server and it's not taken 1 bit of damage, still at 1k health haha, I had to put it in a video to see if everyone else was sharing the same experience :D
@@BEYPlaysGames yea i too am playin on a nitrado server i just know when i logged on today i had to repair my gen, also the new Windmill item says it adds some protection to generators so it could be bugged for you , good ol Ark lol
@@bluntcanadian9091 Haha I know a lot of people that i collab with that have experienced the same thing, but yeah I ain't complaining, i'm sure it'll get fixed though, mainly why I wanted to chuck it in the video because I like trying to build in difficult spots that offer 100% wind just because of not having to use generators so now i'm missing that challenge XD
Hi! I think it only takes damage in the storm if the lightning hits the area, still such a good change lol, hated it taking health damage just from being turned on, makes more sense that it is just the one storm where it can take damage!

cant say i noticed most of these, but i have not played ASE SE since launch. so most of these are just how i remembered the game being other than the normal ASA stuff.
I like how they added new stuff to the old map like structures and caves but they should decrease the heat
I kinda really hope they do, the storms are annoying but I can deal with those still, the constant ridiculous temperature is annoying, feel like I need to hit end game stuff with the best ghillie armour in the game and have fortitude higher than 60 to survive it XD
I tried solo normal setting and I was like "My game is glitching, the heat can't be this bad" 😂😂

Loving scorched earth. Found a lost Rex baby as soon as I spawned in. Only lvl 5 but dam it made the first few hours easy.

I think Electrical storms shutting off powered stuff is localized to those open sparking zones
my ASA scorched base is tucked up in that river valley near one of the waterfalls and not one of the electrical storms has struck my base at least not yet or while I was there.
I know what you mean, then again I've had a generator placed in the open at the wyvern trench for almost 2 weeks now and it hasn't taken one bit of damage XD

Is it to optimistic to hope that because we found 2 caves that there's a 3rd one out there still hiding, and being more optimistic that maybe they will be the artifact caves for a new boss?
I would love that to be the case haha, I've explored the map to death to be honest and the one ruin is the only feature that can pass as a small cave but yeah I was surprise the large cave with loot crates didn't have a new artifact in it!
I hate how hot it is now
The water wells are not all irrigated it seems the ones i find in the real dry areas with more sand and little to no cactus are not irrigated. Im not 100% sure if it was just a bug but i am building a base on the west end of the map just east to the wyvern crack and i went to the well at grid 54, 21 and it was not irrigated, i ended up having to run water towers all the way from the river over took about 25 to 30 water towers.
I think it is just a visual bug, I had a well in a few locations that all said not irrigated yet I had a water tap pumping out all the water XD
@@BEYPlaysGames yes i can fill up, drank, from it but i cant build out from it it does not allow me to put a water tower at the end of the zone and extend it.

what setting do you need to have on in order to see the sandstorm coming in I have not visually seen the sandstorm in the distance approaching

Sadly land drops are still bugged and half of them will mesh into unbreakable rocks cliffs and terrain so you can't get them :/
I wonder if the loot crates are another bait & switch feature like it was on ASA The Island. The island loot crates were amazing for the first few days then it went to complete SH*T & a waste of time.
Say whuuut! I know they changed the loot after launch but the drops were super OP haha! They are still really good to be honest when compared to the ASE drops

Good video brother! One question, I got one wyvern egg and I hatched it. The baby wyvern wants Wyvern milk and I have it but the wyvern does not drink it.....I'm on single player.

@@BEYPlaysGames Imprint care. Sometimes the baby wants to walk with you and sometimes its a kibble or berries. Specifically wyverns need Wyvern milk and go for a walk. Go for a walk is ok but not the wyvern milk. Its not working.

5:27 it’s probably kind of obvious so I hope I’m not just stating what everyone already knows but that’s because with the exemption of the rocket launchers tracking and C4 the rest of the weapons are all mechanical and don’t rely on electricity to work.
They don’t work during an electrical storm in ASE though unless something changed since I last played, couldn’t even use a longneck either 😂😂
Yeah back when I played ASE none of the weapons worked during a storm, Longneck definitely didn't, not sure about grenades and other stuff, most of it didn't from what I remember!

Anyone else have a weird visual glitch at cave entrances. I can't get in a cave. My screen goes red, green, blue, or black and I can't see to navigate to go further. It's in the entire bee hive trench cave. No bee hives either.

Yep :(...Best spots are around the obelisk lakes and some can be found scattered through the river running through the center of the map...no where near as easy to gather them!
I wish the thorny got a tlc like instead of tranq spiked it gives poison so it drains stamina

Ok, I need to put this out.. While it’s nice some creatures can now move sideways, we still need to be able to move sideways at the bare minimum at 50 degrees left/right while sprinting on every creature without moving the camera. It’s just annoying at this point and can only be pointed at PvP as the reason for it being that way. Moving sideways isn’t realistic for most creatures tho, so let’s leave it at the logical ones
I do agree, I guess in this case in its defence it is a mythical creature haha!

Many time you say "which you could not do in ase" suggesting that you can do it now in ase. Was that intentional or do you mean to say "you can not do in ase".

Single and non dedicated my friends base is completely gone and the buildings on by raft dissappear to but when I sale it all comes back on my raft but no matter how many times i try my friends base won't come back we on xbox x
@@reecechapman7286 Ahhh crap, there's no save game option on the Xbox is there? I haven't played console in a very long time, sadly Single Player and dedicated aren't the best in this game without a save option, I don't know why it hasn't been fixed yet. I play on a Nitrado server with my friends which is crossplay with some of my Xbox friends being able to join!

The track that starts at Morrellacrops frame around 2:00, that track is too much. Rest of the tracks are calm

Haha it's basically it's hottest point but happens alot, i'd say the average is 40oC (not sure what that is in Fahrenheit)
@@BEYPlaysGames 104 fahrenheit which is brutal though more realistic as I live in california where during the summer it does get that hot sometimes hotter.

I don't believe the coliseum is new. I remember a coliseum in SE, unless they added and additional one.
It's not new but it is also completely new haha. The ruins around it are totally remastered so it's like seeing something different, I'd feel a bit rude not adding it with the others XD

I am!! I played on the server for 10 hours yesterday, still never saw 1 person mind XD...It's tough though, first few days was spent struggling and dying over and over again haha.

@@BEYPlaysGames I have only pursued the asc maps. I got 2 and one of them had a near max longneck BP. Our server max is 755% and it was about 550%
