First scenario and outdoors combat

- This video introduces the combat system and also showcases what the outdoor environment will look like. 90% of the game will be spent in dungeons, but outdoor events really adds to the total adventure.

I remember watching this a year ago and thinking this game looks very complicated. Now that I have read the handbook, it all seems so elegant and simple.

I am impressed! Great demo, looks very D&D, but I felt that the fight was going more smoothly than in D&D which is very positive. I like the idea of mods for armor, weapons, and stances. You have a backer in me! :D

I only heard about this a few weeks ago being mentioned in a Facebook group and I'm really liking what I'm seeing so thanks for sharing a quick peek into how it plays, it looks fantastic. I don't own and have never played a game like this, so it's funny that I'm in the middle of watching the Lonesome Gamer's playthrough of Dungeon Universalis and there are clear similarities and influences, I'm guessing from older games? I'll also need to get used to the fact that rolling low is good as for some reason this feels counter-intuitive. Good luck with the launch and campaign.

So in Turn 3 Brom the Mad missed his mad fit because the scenario die rolled 5 :) Looking forward to the launch!
Well, as I said in the beginning, they only activate in dungeons, but you are correct that a 5 would activate it :)

I’ve backed this amazing product in hopes that this would get my wife intrigued to play more RPG style board games with me. It lists solo/co-op on their KS, my question is how fun is it for 2 players to play together?? Does it work well collaborating?

Interesting that hits against the "bad guys" did not require "wound location" test but hits versus heroes did, as every body section had its own armor. Or did I get that right?
That's correct. The bad guys only have a single armour value where as the heroes have 4 different sections (Head, Torso, Arms, Legs)
Is this game from the same creator of Dungeoneer: Tomb of the Lich Lord? In fact I do have that game and also couple other expansions, i do hope to get the same feel ... looking good, keep up guys

Thanks! I'm planning to make s series of shorter videos when time permits. Regarding expansions I have some pretty nice ideas going, but let's see how the base game is received first :)
Another question: is there any kind of "morale" test for Monsters/bandits/creatures to determine if they might try running away once they suffer specific losses? (this could be a home rule but I wonder if it is in the core game?) Thanks!
Hi Walt! Nope, the factions in this box fights to the death. It's a feature we might see in the future though.

Thank you! It launches on Tuesday! 1st of March. I won't disclose the price until Tuesday but it's surprisingly humble considering the amount of components :)

Is the amount of player characters set in stone for scenarios or do these scale? Can i play solo and choose to play one character only? Thanks!
The game is balanced for 4 heroes. You could replace heroes with mercenaries that are much easier to play.
Does this relates to the Fighting Fantasy books / Dungeoneer?

Where did you get the 'League of Dungeoneers' card stand from?
I bought it from Amazon, and then I added some beauty to it ;)
So this is a game that I seen, but didn't think much about until someone posted about it in a board game group I'm in and then I became intrigued. It caused me to take a look at the Kickstarter page and I liked what I saw and backed it.
Then I wanted to see the game in motion and looked up videos on it and came across this one. I'm not trying to be mean here, just give feedback. I started watching this video last night and finished it this morning and with 30 minutes left in the Kickstarter campaign, I cancelled my pledge.
I don't know if this was a bad representation of gameplay or if this is it but it was: move, roll to hit, roll for damage, maybe reload a weapon, next character, rinse and repeat.
Maybe this is a dice chucker's dream of a game but I like my combat more on the tactical side. Anywho, that's my two copper. Again, not trying to be mean spirited, but giving my feedback on why I opted out. Best of luck to you and congratulations, your Kickstarter did very well!
I agree, besides the fight was veeeeery long... The All-In for this game costs 135 Euro + shipping and VAT, that seems to be too expensive for a dungeon crawler without miniatures.
