Nice video, i ordered the lens for my new canon eos R100
My 55-250STM should get to me and my recently acquired 7D Thursday :) It's great to get squirrel pics (love chipmunks too). The other day, exhausted, and walking back to my campsite on Mt Lemmon (AZ) after taking some pics and having packed camera up (.....such a noobie mistake), I just missed a pic of the most beautiful squirrel I'd ever seen! Not sure if I'd ever seen this type; what I've come to understand was a Tassel Eared, with reddish back and white edges to tail. It was on a rock along the road! It was a gift to see, so just slightly bummed I didn't get a good pic. I starred at it a bit, so I hope the pro looking guy with the fancy white "L" lens who was just ahead of me approaching saw me looking and too noticed the squirrel and got a pro level shot :)
That’s exciting! You must be pumped for its arrival. Oh, too bad but still awesome you got to see that type of squirrel. I would love to come across one of those squirrels.

Hello, cool video. I bought new Canon lens 55-200mm to my M50 and when I zoom in and zoom out , lens make squeak sound. is it normal ?

Mark II for sure but would make sure the camera is in good condition before purchasing it secondhand.

I use the Canon 2000D(Rebel T7). Currently I have ventured from the automatic modes and I am practicing the TV and AV modes. When I get the chance I hit the outdoors looking for birds and wildlife to photograph.

After a busy day at the office, nothing beats brewing a good coffee, taking my camera and binoculars and to drive to a place were I can walk around in nature and take some photos. That and coffee just tastes better outdoors! I am from South Africa and we are blessed with beautiful wildlife and landscapes.

I'm pretty sure I have this same setup but I was wondering is there two different versions of this lens? I wanted to try recording concert footage with it but it always keeps trying to refocus (AF) and its slow (and noisy). Your video footage looks so good! Do you use the focus manually?
There are 3 versions of this lens. Sounds like you have a previous version without STM autofocus. It's worth considering getting the STM version. It is also optically superior.

Thank you. Yes you can definitely make cinematic videos! Just know it’s a telephoto lens though.

Hello, I’m very new to photography, I’ve found a lens to replace my 18-55mm kit lens, now im looking to do the same with the 75-300 kit lens, would this be a good option, I’m looking to do outdoor and landscape photography. Thank you very much.
Why are you wanting to replace the 75-300? The one I’m using in this video is shorter than the one you currently have.

great content, do you recommend 55-250mm lens over 75-300? ı have 75-300 and ım tired of its chromatic aberration and being IS-less. (ı use 600d as body)
I’ve never used the 75-300 so I can’t speak on it. But I’ve never had any problems with chromatic aberration with the 55-250

Hello! I have a dilemma, buy 55-250, or 55-200 EF-M, it's clear the second one is more expensive, there is an adapter, tell me, is it convenient to carry a camera with such an add-on?
I have the 55-250 and the adapter and there’s no problem carrying it with the adapter.
I have both lenses and the 55-200 is way smaller! The 55-250 on the M50 still feels well balanced and not too heavy though. For casual shooting I prefer the 55-200 for its compactness being second to none.
