I haven't forgotten about your good, fun film, People. I still include most of your story in my head, when taking in all new SW canon. Descendants Of Order 66, Sands Of Fate: A Star Wars Story, and The Lost Relic: A Star Wars Story, are 3 "fan films" I consider to be more in line with Mr. Lucas' storytelling than a good deal of Disney's releases.
