The Logic one did a great job with the tuning, but I notice it because it has a very slightly muffled sound. The Antares is just a bit clearer on the high end. But nothing that a simple eq move can't fix... So A. is Antares and B. Logic
You did a great job explaining concisely the many steps and effects you used and why you used them. I realize video was focused on the auto tune alone, but I’ll look for other videos where you explain what is wrong with what you’re hearing, which tools you are selecting to address those issues, and how those tools work. But again this video is great in its own right.
@@watchboombox I really love how you used the eq at the top of the chain with some de-essing and then the proMB. Lately I’ve been eqing and boosting more top end at the top and I’ve noticed it’s way easier to get a clean pop vocal doing this. It was funny because I did this and had the realisation of how quickly I was able to get a vocal sound, then stumbled on your video and was like, “he did that too”. Defs what I’m going to be doing from now. Love the effect sends too. They sound lush!
Great topic. 👍 Kinda lost the focus on Logic, when you start with FabFilter EQ tools instead of the Logic channel EQ. What are you saying here? Pre-process your vocal with $399 of 3rd party plugins before you use the free included Logic Pitch Correction, instead of the $299 Antares Auto-tune? What? Huh?
A - Antares B - Logic ….100% positive!

Hey man - thanks for watching - could you let me know what you mean about where I explain what is wrong and what I'm hearing?
I noticed a distinct natural warmth to the vocals when using the neural pitch detection, felt more alive i guess than the regular pitch correction
A - logic
B - Antares
Dude! That is an epic transformation 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Thank you!! What bit do you think made the most difference?

@@watchboombox you use of multiband compression. That combined with the tuning 🙌🏼🙌🏼
I HATE the new Logic pitch correction. More latency and gets more notes wrong. Does anyone know how to revert to the old one?
Try messing around with your buffer rate and/or turn off Neural pitch detection
@@watchboombox Thanks, but that isn't it.
You'd have to revert back to an older version of Logic.
A - Logic
B - Antares
Great!!! Greets from Zurich!
yooooo!!!
A = Antares , B = Logic
Yes
I'm w you on this one

Both are great tools - we just happened to enjoy using this one for the vocal treatment. Would you want to see more Logic stock plugin ONLY videos?
If the vocals are out of tune, have the vocalist sing it again!
We wish we could but not everyone has that technical ability which is why autotune is such an important part of the tool kit.
A - Antares - B Logic
Melodyne. Just Melodyne.
Good one bro plz tell me whos the A and B pllz ..u r the best keep going bro
Dude, you have to funnel us to your IG to get the answer, come on man.

The root note and the scale was never selected
@@rockygohard Huh, at 12:05 you can clearly see the note and scale selected. Maybe I just misundertand?
