Great job mate. Hope to see more videos ❤
I like this guy, hes smart as shit 😂id work with him im guessing he knows what hes doing 🤘😎🎧🍀😇🩸💚
so are you letting the sidechain get triggered by only the click of the kick? I thought the length of the low end of the kick was supposed to be ducked out?
Logic : 200 $ and free updates, Alchemy, 80 go Apple Loops and more
I tried switching between them for years and I love the concept of writing and producing most stuff in Ableton and then recording and Mixing and Mastering in Logic, but in reality I get frustrated each time I have to switch between different interfaces and recall different shortcuts etc…
One thing that’s great in Logic is that everything can be pulled to be its own window (like the Mixer or the Piano Roll) which is really great if using multiple screens. In Ableton all “windows” are always glued together
How do you get your green background in Logic?
So beautiful - I imagine that gorgeous music is made in this studio. Thank you.
I don't even found any plugins....
Testing auto tune on non singing vocals is wild
Hello everyone, First of all, I want to point out that Logic Pro has been treated unfairly in this comparison video. Such a biased approach is neither objective nor professional. The lack of neutrality in this evaluation is quite evident. Additionally, it’s important to mention that Logic Pro costs around $220 and offers lifetime updates without charging a single cent-this is a significant advantage that should not be overlooked. As a friendly suggestion, I recommend taking a more balanced and thoughtful approach in your future evaluations. Keep in mind that there are people in the comments section who may have more expertise in music production than you-this is something worth considering. Wishing you all the best and good luck!
Coming to check it out soon!
What’s with the wall of windows and doors? Room sound character?
If I remember correctly, in an interview he said that they changed all the doors in the studio and this was a way to keep the original vibe/history of the building. And I guess that in a way it works as small diffusers haha
Cool place
Very cool spaces. I wonder what that model of Hammond that is, seems like it could be a very interesting instrument to have around.
7:48 That is a Schoeps V4, and not really "like a U87". For starters it is a small diaphragm microphone.
It is a small diaphragm condensor, but with it's own design twists, to impart the character for vocal recording that makes it somewhat more like a large diapgragm condensor. 'SOS describe it as having the SDC within a bevelled pressure plate. This configuration increases the capsule's effective diameter to around 33mm, and provides a similar pressure build-up effect for off-axis sounds to that associated with a large-diaphragm capsule.' In that sense, I think in layman's terms, which he may have been speaking, it's in the broad ballpark of what a U87 is usually used for. Both very expensive, both primarily used for recording main vocals. I don't know if the size of the diaphragm is so much the difference. But, then, as you say it's not really a Neumann. And Schoeps do have a different family sound. I believe the V4 is a relatively bright mic. I guess that's a very rough similarity too, though I suspect the V4 is more the Schoeps style of a very sensitive, revealing, open sort of brightness that picks up even a pin dropping. Rather than that focused spotlight lift the U87 treble has. The Mojave MA-200 is another very bright mic, I guess maybe they are showing their preferences for vocal mic with a leaning toward brightness.
@ I got this info directly at the Schoeps factory, from the designer himself. Mostly what you wrote is correct, but I did not refer to the capsule dimension. Schoeps did and will never build a LD microphone, for solid reasons. Me being German, also an engineer (more in the field of computing and mechanical engineering though), please excuse if I cannot describe it in correct terminology in English 🤷🏼♂️ But build-ups or "brightness" isn't s Schoeps thing.
Saludos, Mario!
He says hi back!
1TB SSD.. 24GB RAM.. 4GB Graphic Card.. i7 10 Generation.. 24 Inchi Monitor DEAL.. 1TB Hard Disk.. Super Fast Pro.. Gaming. Computer PC ke naam se milega OLX per agar aapko Kisi CPU ki jarurat hai to aap le lo bhai
Pretty basic set up tbh, I would’ve spent more on at least 2 tb of ssd and would expand the ram to what the cpu allowed at least 64gb of ram, well worth expenditures just to be able to record and mix with several vst instances and not worry about crashes
Master plan Limiter + Clipper , you get that in hornet master tool, too. But cheaper
What's hornet tool?
Mastering plugins: Cla mix does something good (Placeholder for a soundshaping plugin) Black box hg 2 ms !!! That does magic!!! Oxford limiter for security
We like a bit of security
Logic’s mastering chain is more vivid and clean but has less low end ingormation.
Quite hard to tell the difference though isn't it?
Would love to see more videos like this from their other songs on ITEOTWBIABD. Especially the guitar/synth layering on 'Seasons'. Keep up the great work man!
Thanks! Check out the channel there are two other video on this session on layering instruments and vocal production :)
"I should probably change it at this point because I've been using it way too long" -- why? What sense does that make? @6:08
Sometimes it's nice to switch things up to feel re-inspired :)
I love that your mic is clipping throughout the video. really adds to the vibe 👍
We were trying to get that “raw” sound
this is why its so important to write the song first then produce it. so much experimentation can come from that
Amen!! Is that how you like to compose?
A is IA
The is weird black screen at the start for 3 seconds
Sorry about that - it's been fixed!
You need them both...... :)
Why?
@@watchboombox I use them both, score.....mixing/mastering, pitch corrections etc etc long list in favour of Logic but I love also Ableton, they are both great
Tbh cracking plugins from big time companies is no problem. They won't notice that missing money and their CEO is probably out in an expensive yacht somewhere not giving af. Cracking from indie companies is dumb though because those people are actually trying to eat.
i think rutracker's down rn. got any sites for a serum plugin?
I don' think anyone in on a yacht... piracy makes everything more expensive for everyone because its baked into the financial model sadly.
Continue development on this no matter what. Splice Studio walked so you guys could run!
Hell yeah!!!
Those aren't transient markers, but warp markers. You can also make transient markers, though.there's a difference!
superb tips. thanks
Thank you! Let us know what you think about our other videos
This is. awesome!
Thank you!!
Great video. I just bought the Sonnox Inflator. When you turn the Effect up dont you have to gain compensate on the output level?
You definitely can, however I usually don’t because it’s not affecting the peak level only RMS
Thank you. Peak level/RMS, I wish I understand 😊
Bro do you want video editor
I've used Studio One, Reaper, Ableton Live and Garageband (which is like a cut-down version of Logic) I can definitely see the advantages of using Ableton Live as a production tool and for arrangements. The session view in Live makes it really easy to record sections and move them around, and plus the sound design and sample library and range of instruments, and integration with controllers makes it really easy to work with for production. I also love the warp functionality in Live, and how it works with clips, makes it easy to move audio around, fix pitch and timing issues, and consolidate a final track. For mixing and (simple) mastering, I would rather bounce down my stems from Live and then use something like Reaper (I'm also looking at Logic for this step) - Especially if you're trying to co-ordinate a lot of different stems and master a lot of different versions or rough mixes, the interfaces and functionality in Reaper and Logic fit this workflow nicely.
thanks for this tip!!
Glad to help! 🔥
That Amp Sim is fire. I use it all the time. It's seriously good.
We love it too!!!
Great video & clear communication keep up the great work
Thanks so much :)
Excited <3

« Themes & Appearances : Ableton 1 - Logic 0 » 🤔 Well, even with the light/dark switch, Ableton track lines stay…unpleasant to work with (colors and contents). That’s also one point that made me switch back to Logic after some AL tries. Ok, totally subjective and free feedback! 😉
More of this please! I really like the energy of this guy, especially when he said in one of the episodes that the mosquito zapper is his studio’s most essential tool 😂
Thx!!!!
Our mixes got 110% better since buying a mosquito zapper.
@@watchboomboxIf I could only send you a picture, I also got one. But my mixes still suck 😂
Love this would like more breakdowns is very helpful to venture into K-pop
Will book another trip for Noize so he can do a round 2
This is very helpful 🙌
Thanks Brooke!!
