@@guitariste47 it’s for the fact that if you are harnessed in to a bucket seat and you say roll the car over in a normal car / normal seats they are designed for it, where as if your in a bucket seat you can’t lean down and you could get hurt where you have lack of mobility while belted in
Also I’m 5’6 and 17 so I need them kinda high and close the wheels but no so close I hit the ceiling or the wheel also I won’t be doing harnesses I just wanna keep the seat belts is there a way I can slip the belt through the seats to still have it click and I’ll be protected?
There isn’t a specific video but it should just be a case of removing your seats, ( 4 bolts ) then fit your adapter plates followed by your chosen seats. If you haven’t got adapter plates from say omp or cloude 9 then some modifying will need to be done
@@TheParrottBros Hello, hope you are well; would you know the thickness of the plates sold by cloud9 for instance, because I am going to build my own so it will give me an idea? also, are they made of steel or aluminum?
I don’t have any particular links. I would do a search on the tt forum, it can be done via google if your not a member buddy. If you still can’t find anything let me know and I’ll see what I can find on fb
Great info, Dom. Closing in on 10k subscribers so I'm rooting for you. :-)
Thanks buddy appreciate the support, big announcement coming when we get there 👀
@@TheParrottBros Good on ya, Dom. :-)
My mk1 225 seats lower down nice and low which i like when driving her 👍💎
The original seats do go nice and low, it is a great driving position
Cool video blue bride seats are the nicest
Thanks amigo. Quick one are there any
Thanks amigo 👍
UK. Love the videos bro
Good summary Dom thanks. Personally I like the OEM seats, although I'd prefer them to be an inch lower as I'm over 6" tall
Oem is a very simple but timeless design for sure, i’m nowhere near that tall however I would also like an extra inch down too
What about mark 2 tt-s 3.2 L coupe do I have to remove the back seats or can I just remove the ones in the front
👌another great video ❤️
Good stuff...if I do anything I'll probably just diamond stitch the factory 01 seats. As always 🍻
Love diamond stitching / pleated seats
@@TheParrottBros tough to beat for sure!
Great info - but from a motorsport back ground never install a full harness without a roll cage or hoop. Just saying.
I agree mate, I did discuss this In my roll cage video but forgot to mention it on this one. Thanks for the reminder 👌🏻
Why, please?

What are the dimensions that the seats need be to fit
Another informative video Dom 👍love your hat by the way do you sell them at all ??👌
Thanks buddy, yes they are available for sale just drop me an email dom@theparrottbros.co.uk
I have some sparco seats without airbags installed on my tt, did you know how can I remove the airbag light on the clocks?
Yes, you can buy a resistor from eBay and online stores that you can wire or plug in and will remove the light on the dash

Yes, the pole positions in a mk1 TT Quattro sport run standard seat belts. If you do some googling you will see how they are fitted 👌🏻
Audi TT 😊
Would some prisma Nrg bucket seats fit the Audi TT mk1? Because I’m so close to pressing the purchase button but I wanna be sure that they fit
Having not fitted them I couldn’t say for sure but if you look at the specs of the pole positions they fit with room to spare
Good video, where can I buy the blue bride seats in the UK?
I can certainly ask
what are the Bride seats called? The pole positions are just soooooo expensive haha
I’m just awaiting a reply 👌🏻
Someone knows if seats OEM from tt mk2 fits in mk1? I would like to change my seats but i want more oem look.
They are not a straight swap, but with the base plates from boost fabrications they will
Nice seats but still prefer oem! Thanks for the video.
Thanks buddy, it’s not for everyone but always nice to know what’s available
Hello; I have some nice bucket seats I want to install on my 2001 TT: Have you made a video about this, or do you know off a good one ? thanks

@@TheParrottBros Thanks; I have universal adaptor plates but would like to use the original railing, do you think it's doable?
@@guitariste47 It’s not particularly easy to achieve, but is doable, will require some fabrication
