    THANK YOU!! I didn't have to remove the entire assembly. But after trying to figure it out for an hour or so, reading the manual (useless), I googled my question and your video popped up. Thank you so much!!

    You actually don't need to remove the main body from the spline. Once you lift that little cover, you can lift the wiper arm up 90° and just change the wiper. 🙂

      Yep, came here to offer praise and say I just popped the cover and it gives sufficient clearance to get the old one out.

    First of all, I just want to say I loved all your videos. Can you please do a video of changing the front windshield wipers as well. The cabin filter replacement, engine filter replacement, and the oil change when you get a chance.

    Thanks so much for this video. I just bought a used 2018 Stelvio today. The rear wiper is falling apart. I will use this video to replace my blade with an aftermarket one. Do you think WD40 can work as an anti-seize measure? I don't have the paste you have. Thanks again for this informative video. We are happy to once again own an Alfa Romeo. I turned in my Giulia lease last May and was missing the experience.

    Awesome! My dealer wanted $70 and he treats me like a dumb girl which really tics me off. I love that i did it myself in 10 minutes for $10 bucks. Thank you so much!

    Thanks, AutoFanatic! I was successful in replacing my Stelvio's rear wiper blade with the Hyundai wiper blade. Please keep the tips coming.... Btw, I noticed that Alfa came out with the side badging for the 2023 Stelvio, let me know if you have plans in installing this. I have the Ti Sport trim. Thanks!

    Thanks so much, a very useful tip. Most of us are too reliant on the dealerships for service.

    Nice video. On my 2022 Stelvio, I didn't need to remove the entire rear blade assembly. Once you lift up the retainer nut cover, the entire wiper blade should swing away from the rear windsheild without the need to remove it with the wrench. The rest is the same as you showed.

      yes for the video i was worried the arm would snap back and maybe crack the window holding the camera which is why i decided to remove it, either way it is a very easy DIY for anyone to do and avoid the dealer

    Rear wiper collect a lot of dirt and sand. I live on a dirt road. My wiper blades are good, but the sand that lays on the wiper blades from the dirt road has scratched my rear window and front wind shield

    I just replaced my rear wiper and found out that if you have removed the cap cover for the 10MM bolt, you get much more space to replace the wiper blade without removing the whole arm. I used the Bosch Aerotwin A310H rear wiper that I found on Amazon for 7 euro. For the front I used Bosch Aerotwin A863S wiper blades.

    • @autofanaticcars
      @autofanaticcars  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yes someone mentioned that but having the arm off made a better demonstration for a video i feel. We also used the Bosch blades up front and absolutely love them the factory blades stink.

    Well, that was easy, for my BMW have to put the front wipers in "Wiper Service Position" just to be able to lift the arms . SMH =/ That is pretty cool that part cross reference with a Hyundai for such a consumable.

    This video is an overkill, you don't need unscrew anything. You just pop the bolt cover and the wiper arm becomes free, so that you can pull it up and replace the wiper like you would do it in any other car. The only magic is that cover blocks the wiper arm from tilting it up.
