She is giving her voice a rest, she is retiring from the music business. The last concert dvd will be released June 16, 2017. She will teach part time at a Christian music college for young people who would like to be in the Christian music business . Then spend most of her time with her husband and children, She will also spend time with her grandchildren. That is right folks Sandi Patty is now a grandmother. All I can say is WOW!
A little backwards- I discovered this song from Kristin Chenoweth but obviously Sandi Patti is absolutely amazing and the song is a timeless classic, well done!!!

I can say that because of the grace (the unmerited favor and blessing) of God I am what I am (today), and His grace toward me was not for nothing (1 Corinthians 15:10). (Thank You Lord for being my Rock, my Sure Foundation all these years...I want to let the whole world know that it is because of Your grace, I am still as passionate for You as when I first received You into my heart in 1974. Lord, I want to live my life for You as long as I live.)

I practically grew up hearing these songs sung by my mom (because they have the same range) and now that I'm older its my turn to sing and she serve as my vocal coach...
