I was privileged to meet Allison Durham at my church in FL when she was only 21. She was planning to marry Ben. She sang "We Shall Behold Him" and signed it as she sang There wasn't a dry eye in the congregation and I had been saved only a month. I met her again, 20 years later, in her small home Church of the Nazarene in NC for a public performance. What a lovely lady. What a voice.
Carolyn, thank you for appreciating Allison's gift as much as I do. Thanks for answering my question as to how she is related to Ben, I had seen her in another video during an emotional outpouring of the Spirit, hugging him with tears in her eyes. Her feeling for him was so obvious, now I know it's depth!

i'm singing this in a choir concert. i hadn't practiced much so thought i better put in abit. I decided to listen to it, and have hardly stopped since i first started. this is truely a powerful song. Both in vocals and words.
Such a great rememder everytime it looks like satan is winning ground, we can be sure God is still in control and His church will not die, but will continue to grow.
I rarely listen to the same music daily. However, this piece brings a sense of comfort in knowing the church shall stand because it's built and founded on the rock of Jesus Christ!
Every now and then I come back and listen to this beautiful reminder that God’s church will stand!! Praise the Lord.

They have both blessed me with their singing.
Anita Tate Ive sung this song in its original key. Hard to do yes, I think Allison did herself a favor and lowered the key a bit.Making it more comfortable for her to show her vocal strengths
