Great video. I just installed my 034 piston upgrade on my oump and my car is running very well now with my stage 2 tune. I did want to add that after installing in getting a strong fuel smell right above the fuel pump ive sprayed all the connections on and around the fuel pump with soapy water and there's no sign of leaks or visible bubbling. It's even stronger after I shut off the engine. I'm also not getting any fuel codes as well. Not sure at this point why in getting the strong fuel smell after installing
@@lunchmoney3652 yea that's pretty strange, my first guess would be it's definitely leaking somewhere but not seeing anything is weird. Maybe could be somewhere else down the line or an evap issue but I'd think the car would throw a code for that. If you have the ability to data log, look at the high pressure and make sure it's in spec with what 034 says it should be at and that should tell you if you are leaking or not. I noticed when my pump went out, the car wouldn't say it was down on pressure until it was stumbling and trying to stall.
FUCKIN FIXED IT! Thank you so much for this tutorial. I couldn't have done it without you. Everything driving is smooth as butter but the cars still grumbling on idle so I gotta figure that out. You're the best! Thanks again!
@@masu3701 Might be. But I changed the fuel pressure sensor (with oem) last year in an attempt to fix the issue cheaply. Thanks for the tip. About to get my obdeleven in the mail today and ill know for sure.
I have a 2014 A7 3.0 Supercharger Premium Plus. On Highway 400 miles then (115 degree weather) Check engine light & FPC light turned on. Towed 100 miles all lights off after tow no problem. Went for emission failed P0087 & P0089 codes. Saw 2 videos yours front high pressure fuel pump & the other rear under the rear seat fuel pump whose codes were the same FCP light on dash. Which pump should be replace since my dash lights are off. Thank you so much
@@MaximumTriangle Thank you installed LPWP seems to have done the trick. Have driven 130 miles 3 diffident days trying to see if codes come back & they didn't. Old pump didn't have a vent cap had to buy from dealer. Thanks again
Hi there. May I ask where and how much did you purchase that high pressure fuel pump? I payed off a 2015 audi a6 2.0t premium plus. Recently having trouble to start the vehicle. Takes 4 or more cranks to start. The repair guy told me the fuel pump need be replaced. So I’m just wondering if my 2.0 uses the same fuel pump S your 3.0?

@MaximumTriangle okay let me run some logs and send them to my tuner with 034 specs
What size twelve point star socket?

The fuel pressure sensor could also be bad and throw code p0087

@@MargaretCharles-x1k with those codes, I'd start with the low pressure pump in the back first.

Did you flush the lines etc before doing this? I know audi recommends changing the fuel tank and all the lines when doing this job
