Love the new review format, it's clear and concise and I appreciate the meters for Sillage and Longevity. Gives me a visual thought on how the fragrance might perform. I think this sounds like an Office, Professional scent for the Cold months of Fall/Winter where as the original version is brighter and built for more warm weather; but given the price and how I'm approaching summer I'm going to give this one a pass.
On point with another great video Nate! I really enjoy the EDP iteration - perfect office scent. Is the Parfum redundant if I already have the EDP? Like you and others have noted, all TF fragrances are great, but overpriced. Cheers!
Yeah, If you have the EDP it doesn't do anything better or new. If you run out of the EDP and are looking to buy more of it. Maybe then picking up the parfum is worth it.
Hello, I want to buy one product. What do you think, Gray Vetiver Edp or Gray Vetiver Perfume? And do you have any other scent suggestions that are medium fresh with orange flowers?
The Parfum is just richer and not as bright, The EDP still has SOME freshness to it. They both dry down to the T. That both smell 80% Close on the dry down to the point where no one could tell the difference.
Nate. Brilliant review! Vetiver fragrances are fantastic! Like you, price tag and performance has ensured I have never taken the plunge. Has Tom Ford not called time on the label... Certainly the fashion side. Will be interesting to see what Esther Lauder does in terms of the fragrance and skincare range. Thanks again Nate. Stay well!
Glad your good Nate, kitten fur vetiver parfum lasts longer,😂 any glad your good, sounds like an acquired taste and buy on this scent? Boots usually step into stuff not good, and smell, well! Less desirable, lol,I'm done wanted to say hello.
Yeah, they take a lot of my money. They've got some great deals and have discontinued fragrances sometimes. Randomly they'll get dior homme parfum and stuff. The only thing to watch out for is when they say ships between one and five weeks. That's basically code word for they don't have it in stock. They're totally legit.
@@ParagonFragrances They are currently running an awesome sale, I'm adding way too many Mancera and Nishane to my cart at the moment, I hope the shipping to France won't kill me.
So they won't ship to France but I had them shipped to a friend in the US and he'll forward it. Ordered Cedrat Boisé, Red Tobacco, Hacivat and Ani. I'm crazy (especially since I said I'd never blind buy again and I never smelled Nishane) but they were 50 to 60% off.
@@brett.caldas-lima you'll love, the Nishanes. Cedat Boise is always amazing. Red tobacco is pretty rough for me. That would be the sketchy one I would think. But let me know how you like it!!
I might be in the minority and some may say I'm speaking nonsense but I find Tom Ford fragrances somewhat "overrated" and ridiculously overpriced for what you get. Don't get me wrong, most of them are pleasant but I find there are other fragrance houses that are so much better that costs way less. So yeah...TF is just way too expensive for what you get.
Absolutely agree. I honestly don't get the hype and actually some of them smell super cloying and stomach turning to me. My guy loves the sample of Black Orchid I got him but I hate it. He can't be around or touch me with it on.
Since Estee Lauder's Tom Ford acquisition, I wonder if the pricing is a sophisticated price gouging technique for the unsuspecting Jones'. It doesn't make sense that a larger company would require more overhead for the same product. But the markets are going up everywhere and in the game of fragrance vs food, fragrance is a lower player for the masses. Most fragrances, if current events continue to current, are going to again, be for the top 10% and the occasional whore, paid as hush money. Idk, it's strange how wealth transfers in volatile times.
Love the review where you just jump into how it smells!
