I had a very hard time finding a bottle of Grey Vetiver. Nordstrom had a sample bottle, but no product. I finally found a bottle online. I was wary of counterfeit products. Very happy with it! It was David Bowie's favorite, incidentally, according to Iman.
Great video, Manny. I luv Grey Vetiver EDP. I used to think this fragrance was only for when I was suited and booted. But then came the pandemic lockdowns, where I was wearing joggers, t-shirts, hoodies and sneakers ... EVERY... DAMN ... DAY. One summer day, I gave it a go and BOOM. It was perfectly suited for my crisp white t-shirt and fitted jogger. Since then it has been making a regular appearance in my spring/summer/early-fall rotation. I feel elevated when I wear it. It will never go out of style. Tom Ford Grey Vetiver EDP. It's in my Top 10 For Life list. Great video, Manny. I hope you revisit some more great fragrances. - CJ -
To me most Tom Fords are great but they are to expensive compared to alternatives out there. However I love Grey Vetiver so, while I can afford the real thing I don't like to through my money away, I buy the Alexandria clone for the edit but they formulate as a edp so it gives it more punch at about 20% of the cost with high quality ingredients
Because it is fairly common, if there is a Tom Ford boutique or official point of sale near you, I'd just check it out there. Typically speaking though, it is the most "friendly" smelling vetiver if I had to compare it to Carven, Guerlain, Terre D'Hermès, etc...
Thank you so much! And the jury is out on its status. It is still readily available officially at stockists online and on the Tom Ford site, as well as on the gray market to boot. That being said, there's less stock in general lately which is a point of concern, for sure. So we will see. I am sure it will be easier to tell come next fiscal quarter.
@@CascadeScents many thanks I’m not taking chances it is my favourite designer fragrance for work. Even the wife loves it too she is responsible for a large part of the dent in my bottle. time to stock up on this masterpiece.
Thank You for the review!🙏🏾 I tried Vetiver Sensuel (Mancera) recently. That was my first real vetiver fragrance. Would "Grey Vetiver" be a redundant purchase?🤔
Great review and I enjoyed it and I like this fragrance and I give it a 9 out of 10 and have a blessed day
You too, Michael. Thanks so much as always! =]
You welcome keep up the good work and thank you very much
Maybe I should give it another chance. Great video, cheers!
Thank you so much! Hope you dig it this time around! =]

Great video, I think that you should try Essential Parfums, I'ts like grey vetiver but more refined and cheaper. Regards from México
Thank you so much! Greetings from Canada! =]

Thank you so much, CJ! Glad you continue to enjoy Grey Vetiver post-lockdown. Dress it up, dress it down. Today and tomorrow! =]
If I had to choose only one fragrance for the rest of my life, this would be it. Unless Gucci re-releases Gucci pour homme 2.
Is that a “moon swatch” watch on your wrist
Sun MoonSwatch with an aftermarket strap, yes. =]
Any similarities to H24 EDP?
👍🏾right off the bat for "gateway vetiver" 😅🤓😎👍🏾👍🏾
If you know, you know. =]
i love it i wear it alot, i also overspray it too make it last longer... it feels llike taking a bath in 4711
This vid is very informative and pushed me to buy a bottle, now i smell exactly what i wanted to smell like :)
I have the EDT, I never got my nose on the EDP, but I will soon.
Hope you dig it also!
Great review brother I’m new to your Chanel but love your content keep up the good work.
Thank you so much! =]
I have just purchased a 100ml bottle and I am pleased with it!!!
does it smell like Armani Prive vetiver ? i love that scent however everywhere I go the reviews I get was the longevity was not good
Great scent, just something about it that throws me off. Gifted my nearly full bottle to a friend, whose wife adores it.
Aw, that's great! Glad she adores it too then. =]

I have the edt. It's better. This scent I feel is more mature for students, maybe post college
Bro, you're post-college as well though. :P
@@CascadeScents I meant maybe suited better for post college and older and not students.
Please tell us if the new batches is still the same ?
i don't own this one but have gone threw some decants and what a great scent. you nailed it on the head. great job.
Thank you so much, fam. I know it's not typically your steez, but I am glad you still dig it too. =]
Just paid £85 for 100ml. 💪🏼😌
From where?
My grandfather knows Tom. So he gave me this fragrance for Christmas. I am quite pleased.
Manny, you dropped a lot of weight! Don’t lose anymore you look great!
Thank you so much, Louie! =]
What about the people wear scrubs? 😊
You think it's blind buy worthy

I have a bottle and really love it, it is a classic for the office, however I rarely ever reach for it anymore past few years.
You the Man(E)!!!!
Thank you so much! =]
Great video. Is it true that this is discontinued?

Grey Vetiver EDT (2014) is discontinued. The EDP (2009) and Parfum (2023) are available.
Soooo…grey vetiver vs dior homme sport? Thoughts?
GV is more mature and formal whereas DHS is more youthful, casual leaning.
It smells like standard body lotion
Which one[s]?
Great video of a truly classic fragrance, Manny. I have a decant of the EDT. I will look into the EDP. Enjoy seeing your new videos again.
EDT is more smoother.
Thank you so much, Clinton! =]
Just couldn’t get into this one. I prefer Guerlain Vetiver. Prefer those ‘old man’ frags haha
The Guerlain is incredible! I still love it. So OG! =]
Thank You for the review!🙏🏾

I owned it since 2018
