Oh my gosh! I would have never believed this process would literally save my family room furniture. After years of my short haired men in my family slouching on the couch, they basically had rubbed the color off in some areas. IT WORKED and we love it! Thank you so much.
I would LOVE an update on this chair! Did the dye hold up? Are you satisfied with it? I’m getting ready to try this on a tuffed sofa. The price to professionally restore is very expensive.

Great find! That is an awesome chair from the get-go. I think you should say the first thing you need is courage to take on a project like this and attention to details and then determination. It’s an amazing job.
I used this on my brown chairs 5 or so years ago. Changed them to black. They still look great except for a couple of places on the arms where they're constantly rubbed. I plan to recoat them again soon.

Did the color stay? Any problems with it rubbing off? I’ve got a chair I purchased but the color is off. It’s a brown with to much red in it. I’d like it to be a darker…espresso color. Cindi, IF I didn't have to do a million nailheads - ha - it can be done in a couple of hours! Dries amazingly fast as well!

Well, the blooming nailheads took the longest! ha. But, if it was say a large ottoman you could do it in a few hours! So fun!
