Thank you so much for making this video!! You really helped me understand all meanings/functions of -지요 😊 I'm thankful really.
I love your videos 😊. In this one where you refer asking questions to suggest an action in a softer way, I would translate it as “should we..?” - “what should we eat for dinner?” As opposed to “What are we eating for dinner?” because the latter one is not as soft.
Thanks!
안녕하세요!! 여기 10문장, ’~지요/지/죠‘ 사용 :

6. 한국은 8월 15일 1948년에 해방였지요?
7. 김세정은 여배우 과 가수지
8. 노래는 매혹적이지

How to use in tenses ?
Thanks for this. One question ... when you're using it for "right?" or "isn't it?", I noticed that you didn't always raise the tone of your voice at the end of the sentence, like you would for other questions in Korean. So if I'm just seeking agreement, I don't need to make the sentence sound like a question at the end?
Hi there, no generally Korean questions should end in a rising tone. I can't think of a Korean question form where you wouldn't. I might have just said it wrong as I was reading the script 😅
