Thank you for the balanced narration and trying to look Ethiopia as a whole. My families are not from the so called South NNPRS but I have the same feeling like you guys may be because I spend my childhood with people from different part of the country in Addis , being from a mixed (religion and ethnicity) family and tour more than 70% of the country in the name of field work as an adult but above all I am a rational global citizen. Better to divide and transform regions into administratively manageable parts and be part of great AFRICA, for that matter I don't believe in artificial maps and territorial boundaries. I have been in different part of ETHIOPIA. hey folks better to learn from our sisters and brothers in RWANDA the real prosperity is there.
I enjoyed watching you guys. It is true that leaders should do primarily what is right and manage the consequences the right way. We expect leadership from Dr. Abiy and his team. We believe he is elected the same way both PM Meles & PM Hailemariam were elected even though they enjoy different amount of support and have different degree of influence in EPRDF. Leaders should be BOLD enough to denounce CRIME, CRIMINALS and EVIL acts. Engineer Getahun's recommendation (getting Russians experience and solution for the similar conditions we are in) could be one good resource for finding the way out of this crisis. EPRDF has only one experience which is kept us in this mess. Now they have to consult other minds for the solution as "We only know what we make" Giambattista Vico, Philosopher. Keep up the good work - seeing and showing the light. Keep us positive. I would be happy to see what you think of "Export Led Economy" as an an economic policy for Ethiopia, a country that is desperate for looking a home grown solutions for its challenges. I happened to check websites of Ethiopian Universities and sponsored projects. They do not have projects that the student care in their day to day life. To give you some example Wolkite University agriculture department has project for rearing pigs and no project with what people use everyday (Enset or Kocho or Bula, Buna). To me such is a good example how export led economy fails us to secure our basic needs. please comment or do a program on this! Thanks

I'm so glad Ethiopia has such intellectuals!!! But I do have doubt that these guys have significant influence on the politicians because politics in Ethiopia is not knowledge based.
I am really confused here why do you think combining is crushing? Americans came from all regions of Europe and yet they never regret their unity, in fact they don’t even mention their background, why do we need to magnify our differences? Who had benefited from tribalism or ethnic federalism. Please come up with an idea that brings us together. Our differences are our major problems and the root of all our evils. Please teach something that solves this problem. As an elite you can help us with that.
