It's funny since Voidvelg got all the good tools it needed to be viable and even the surprise Meta Deck: Star Trancer for Pierce, Void Corridor for Resource Recursion, Voidvelg Globule to make it easier to bring in your Boss Monsters and most importantly, none of the Boss Monsters have a limitation: which allows you to play certain cards. The next one with the most Meta potential is Wyrm Deck since the Field Spell in this Mini-Box is not the one you're going to use normally, but Peaks of Blisstopia. Wyrm's Skill makes it easy to have Field Spell and Fusion in Hand at all times and Tarasque just complements this well. The important thing here is the resource recycling in Fusion and Field Spells: something that many Meta Fusion Decks currently have in Rush's Duel Links.
okay, at this point I think that whoever is in charge of balancing rush duels most be suffering from ptsd from facing something like labrynth or trapnui (duel links) or something because I cannot believe they are this scare of trap cards as to put both of the newer ones to limit 1... if anything the format needs more relevant trap cards than actually do stuff other than, oh a +400 ATK/ -400 ATK.... is either that or they intentionally want rush duels to be an otk format... even early duel links had more interactivity than this (with econ, etaqua, anubis, sphere kuriboh, michizure, freaking magical arm shield...).... that being said, that new trap card bundle seems kinda good (like a poor's man book of moon).
fr. It's another tribute engine like Seahorse Carrier, except you don't have to play any dedicated monster type cause it's super generic. I don't see why people wouldn't care about it.
I want to dig for the psychics but I hate that all the important fusion materials are mini box SRs. I'm probably gonna skip this one unfortunately. Also Jointech Leo works with Ancient Gear Golem so that's pretty neat
So still no rush red eyes support at all great blue eyes and Dark magican gets an entire structure when they have less cards in rush yet red eyes cant even get a 2nd support card
All these new phyic cards do not help your game state especially the one that returns a monster to the hand what is to stop your opponent from just resummoning that same monster back Over all just a disappointment or a box

Linac is understandable because he has several Fusions on the way but Palerider objectively only goes into Apocalypse which is good but not great. Honestly should be a R at best. There is barely any difference between it and a 1500 ATK vanilla and those are usually R too.
This set is awful. Ama Lilith is in here but neither Prima Fusion or the Psychic support from the past year. Tarasque is in here but none of the modern support for anyone else. No Coiled Dragons either. Leo but nothing else in the set is EARTH Machine. Reprinting Dream Drummer and Telepathic Agent again when they just got reprinted. WATER Thunder support but no generic Thunders
We just got Starving Venom a few weeks ago. And before that we got Majestic Magic and one of the best Anniversary Boxes of all time. December is usually when Speed gets a lot more content so wait until then.
