Luminar has told me that can’t edit NEF files. Has this changed?

Too bad Metadata is so limited in Luminar Neo. We only use the Catalog function/page and have taken out a lifetime license for this. We assume that the possibilities of the Catalog will become more extensive in the future. In any case, it left many competitors behind in its decision-making. 👌🏻

Is there a way in NEO to sample colors on the image? Usually looks like an eye dropper in most programs. I can't find it even in user manual searches.

It's tiring to always have to switch from the catalog to the edit tab. If it's just a few photos, that's no problem. If you have reached 1K photos?

I am unable to resize my images on my Windows computer without stretching out

Thanks for your video Jakub. I think Luminar Neo has issue in case the images include people because I do not think it has exposure blending feature. It means I need to use other application like Affinity Photo to combine a designated image with the stitched panorama image from NEO.

The skin and body options aren't present in my version, even when I open portraits

Luminar Neo still does not support Nikon High Efficiency format RAW files. They will not process refunds if you purchased expecting file support like you get from all the other apps like Lightroom. They promise they will add the support in the "future" but will not let you pause your subscription until that happens. NIKON SHOOTERS STAY AWAY.

Since the update my focus stacking panel is gone. I guess I will have to contact Skylum😢😢😢

It has nothing to do with this update, but my eyes hurt every time I look at this new logo, it's horrible, the other one was so beautiful and futuristic, I thought the change was terrible.

Neo doesn't want to upgrade to 1.20 on Mac.

The new changes make sense to me - they are improving the naming/categorizing of the tools.

When you finish the edit and send it back to Photos, there doesn’t seem to be any way to get back to Photos without quitting the program and relaunching it

My sliders don't alter the image when I convert to black and white? Not sure whats wrong.

The editing controls appear to have been chosen by someone wanting to use every control in the library. Most, if not all, adjustments could be managed using the “conventional” slider to set a value from x to y. The controls add nothing to usability and just take up unnecessary screen space. I took out a subscription on my iPad because I use Luminar Neo on my Mac and didn’t really test it during the free trial-a mistake. I cancelled auto-renew and will not be downloading the iPhone version. The editing results are good, but the process is not worth the effort and aggravation.

It's nice that the video starts with you with a long beard and ends perfectly shaved.😊

Awesome editing features on a phone, but it really needs RAW editing to make it complete... the same thing i stated with Luminar for iPad came out. But this really is an amazing tool for snapshots.

I am using Luminar NEO v1.19.0,, and trying to follow this tutorial. The user interface has changed from when this tutorial was produced. Typing "J" on my PC keyboard does not show the histogram mask. I'm not having much luck searching for the process to show it. Correction: It works as shown in tutorial. The sample image I was using has no over/under exposed areas. I selected another image with very dark areas and the histogram clipping mask showed the areas in bright blue.
