Marine mechanic here. Let me tell you that the Snap-On impact screw driver is a beast as are the bits. Over the years I find that the flat head bits are always the weakest regardless of brand. But the snap on bits are by far the strongest. Snap-on had no issue warrantying a twisted flat head bit for me and the p3 snapped on me as well, no issue replacing for me. If you don't want to spend the money on snap on then get the harbor freight impact driver and buy the snap on bits. I used the Harbor Freight one for years as well. The one feature on the snap on impact screw driver is the twist selection for direction. It locks in place until hit with a hammer or pushed in by hand with some force. I have found that the other brands I used that setting the direction was unintuitive meaning you weren't sure what direction you were gonna go. Also i would bet you could hit this thing with a jack hammer and it wouldn't break. Good luck out there.
I got the larger set of 3/8" locking chrome extension from snap on. They are great for spark plugs and other stuff where you must retain your sockets or when you don't want to argue with the spark plug hole for the socket stuck in the bottom of the spark plug tube.
I’m so glad you explained the warranty limitations with the MAC Tools impact driver. I have that set and I broke the flathead bit in the first strike. Still sitting in my truck to be replaced. Grabbed a set of Snap-on bit sockets, used them with the MAC impact driver and they worked great. The Taiwan bits are junk!!! Great review as always!!!
What's the best brand of bits to use with impact drivers. I've tried alot and they've failed. I haven't tried snapon or GP but the worst I've had was Astro ones. They broke right out the box. The sad part it was part of the impact kit. It doesn't mean sh#t to have a warranty if it keeps breaking.
I love them. Had the wobble plus first. And also the locking impact ones. Now I have the locking wobble plus.. best of both worlds for sure!(If you’re not trying to use them on an impact)
Every time Aus comes out with a tool haul I know I'm going to wind up buying something he's show casing. Probably my most looked forward to tool hauls. Thanks for showing off the cool stuff you get Aus!

You sure that 50pk of blades from SO is $30 and not 30/day? There's gotta be some fine print somewhere 😂
For once, Snap On's a good deal. Not the cheapest blades, but they last longer than any other I've used.
need a tool box tour
We need a tool box tour of your box!

Try VIM Tools. Make sure the bits themselves are S2 tool steel, not chrome moly and especially not Chrome Vanadium.
I was looking at the 1/2 drive proto locking extensions do you have a set or were they 3/8 at the end of the video
3/8
@@asmautollc do they work well
I like your choice in tools..... from big name brands to simple brands, but that make quality tools.🔥🔥
Been looking at the locking wobble plus set. Your dealer has a good price. Any chance that he ships? Snap on website wants $166 plus shipping.
He can only sell in his territory. Also, it was a promotion and he’s sold out.
