    I bought a used trek xcabliber 7 for 200 dollars. It now has a fox 34 performance, gx 1x12, new dt swiss 533d/370 wheelset, dropper, shimano xt brakes. Upgrading can and probably will become an addiction

    • @KoRnudo
      @KoRnudo 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      how could you get it for only 200 was it in that bad of a condition? or is it just europe to america price difference?

    • @AbdulDobreia
      @AbdulDobreia 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @KoRnudo definitely just eu vs us pricing, over here bikes are so common that people dont care for them and practically sell them for nothing. Pretty nice but parts are just as expensive as in the us if not more expensive.

    Hey man! I just turned 14 so i am geting a new bike, ive had an old Scott Voltage YZ 30 for like 5 years now so k am looking for a better bike, i saw the scott aspect 760 on sale for 500$ so i am probably gonna buy it. What do you think? Btw i am an absolute begginer at mtb.

      500 sounds pretty good if the bike is being sold in a store. If it's second hand then it depends if the bike is in good shape (if everything works if it's been cared for) and the model year. I say go for it :D

    I have a Scott Aspect 960 from 2018, and it looks like it's pretty much the same bike, same paint, same tyers, same brakes. I am planning to upgrade it to a 11-50 12 speed Sram Eagle SX with a crankset from Shimano XT. I can't wait to that project. I love that bike, and I want to put even more love into it. I've already spent some money on it, mostly for maintenance, and few parts changes. But last month I've did some researches and I made plan for upgrading it. I already change a tire, I've put a 29x2.40 Continental Trail King in the front. I've used that tire on the back for a short period, but today I've put the Kenda one on the back, and now I feel the bike to be a lot faster, but with better grip for the front. Next time I will get a 29x2.35 tire for rear from Maxxis.

    You don't need a goat link on that deore, it has a massive range. I have mine on a 11 to 50 tooth cassette and it works perfectly without a goat link...

    • @LUKASOPW
      @LUKASOPW  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't know what hardware you are using, but my derailleur's maximum capacity is 43 teeth (like is written on Shimano's website bike.shimano.com/en-EU/product/component/deore-m6000/RD-M6000-SGS.html ). So I had to use a road link.
