    nice to see porche is sticking with their sleek styling and not getting caught up in the hard edges non-functional slats and grills that is all the rage.

    The trunk circular covers are not speakers. Left side is oil cap. Right side is coolant cap. Once you remove the plastic covers. You will see it.

      In the UK left side is water, right side is oil, I was surprised how easy it was to get oil in without spilling on the interior. I bought a funnel but found I didn't need one

    I know it´s a cliché, but the red stitching on the black leather is so good-looking. Those little things just make me happy.

      UNfortunately, these interior options, incl. painted dial faces in red or white, ARE COSTLY.

    Great car and your video is nicely presented with good audio to listen to engine sound. Though very frustrating to see how you handled the steering and shifter, your hands are everywhere and on many occasions no hands on wheel at all!

    The Aluminium (aluminum to you) cover in the boot(trunk!) is all dented, or is it my eyes?
    This car is on my 'to have' list... but a panel just there that damages so easily? 🤔
    I've convinced myself that the value of these will skyrocket when you can't buy them anymore 🤞

      And - just an opinion - but Europe (and the UK 🤦‍♂️) are planning that all new cars from 2022 will automatically obey the speed limit (can be overridden for now, but you can see where it's heading).
      Then what - all cars may as well be the same? God help us! 👎👎👎

    IF Porsche carries through with their promise of Android integration in 2022 then I will look at it. even then, it's not all models. Of course, they've been promising this for several years now and have yet to follow through. Since Android is the largest operating system out there, I don't understand their hesitancy unless they're being paid off by Apple...which I wouldn't doubt.

    • @michaelsalter2473
      @michaelsalter2473 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I went from an M2 to a GTS Cayman. It’s a big change, the BMW, even M2 is much more of an effortless daily because you never do anything to it in between services and replacing tyres. I’ve found the first 10 months of Porsche experience to be more involved, a couple of visits to the dealer, needing oil after 4,000 miles and generally less intuitive sat nav etc. The Apple works well but lack of android isn’t a surprise, for all these ‘non driving’ elements it’s just not as convenient as my previous BMW’s suggesting it’s not a priority for Porsche. The driving experience though is wonderful, it’s a magnificent machine and I love driving it. It’s so balanced, I don’t find the long gearing an issue and the manual is superb, I don’t regret taking it over PDK.

    • @TheArathor
      @TheArathor 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The main concern for Porsche which they have stated publicly is privacy. Android Auto collects large amounts of data and at Porsche they are determined that their customers prefer privacy over Android Auto.

    • @michaelsalter2473
      @michaelsalter2473 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    If you look at the interior and especially at the infotainment of even an Audi A3 or the new Lotus Emira speaking of a direct competitor how can Porsche even dare to sell such a bullshit cockpit especially the displays?

    • @michaelsalter2473
      @michaelsalter2473 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I do comment above that coming from an M2 to a GTS Cayman was quite a surprise in terms of usability, BMW's were streets ahead but my word, what a wonderful thing to drive the cayman is, I personally can forgive it anything and could not care less about the cockpit functionality.
