I enjoy your videos, and these guides are great, it's interesting to note when you look at some of the logs from ESO Logs and you see Tanks are swapping into sets like Imperium and Beckoning Steel, with the Healers wearing Saxhleel, Arcanists are sporting Coral Riptide with Ansuul's it's important to remember that teamwork makes the dreamwork. Additionally sets like Powerful Assault always confuse me as well. It says "You and 5 other members" So my first cast goes out to myself and 5 other players. Leaving 6 players unbuffed. The second cast goes out to myself again and another 5 players. Leaving 1 player unbuffed. So now I need to cast it a third time in order to get that last member?
PA is based on range, so it will leave it off the tank typically so you are good to go but yeah, it can be a problem. Those shielding sets I find to be less than useful personally. They just melt so fast in content. I think maybe they are wearing them thinking they help when they probably don’t. I’ve wanted to be able to recommend a good 5 piece survival set and there really isn’t anything great for tanks, so I still suggest engine guardian and masters s&b. It is one area I wish zos would add a good set for, but it would probably break PvP so they don’t.

I have few questions - why theres no MA/WM? Isnt it gonna do better uptimes of Major Slayer? Aaand. Does Jorvuld affect the MA/WM? If so - 70 seconds is a looot
Great questions :) the short answer is those are more typically used in very well organized groups for burn strats. And since they only apply to 6 players each, you typically have two people run them, one often a parse healer, and you have to make two stacks so the buffs go on the right people. Fitting Jo on means you would have to loose another dps set, so it’s typically not done. As for uptimes, those sets procing on 6/8 people, even with 100% uptime only gives you the equivalent of 0.75 up time for the entire raid group, which is worse than ro/jos 80%. So it’s just better unless you can burn bosses fast enough. And I make most of my guides for the 99% plus of players for whom burn strats and optimal ulti gen/rotations are not really possible. That group being a very small minority of the overall player base. I’ve also done a much more in depth guide on raid group optimization but not a lot of people are interested in it, so those videos will typically get so few views as to not be worth it. I just did this one to help out a few friends. If you are curious though or want to share your own knowledge, we have help channels in the discord where people can come ask these more niche questions and get high quality answers. So drop by sometime!
