    Great video! Nice how you explain things just when I want to ask about them 🙂.
    As suggestion: Would you consider to make a video about points to follow when creating new build? Lots of creators make great builds but not always for my playstyle. Would be great to be able to change them, but I am not sure what to change and what to keep.
    It would be great to have some guidelines - something like you mention 30K defence cap in your tank guide. I am sure, that some boundaries are in place for damage and crit, but not sure what is important.
    Anyway keep the great work!

      Thanks for the suggestion, it’s a great idea. I’ve done a live stream or two where I go through the dps build making process but it’s a lot different than a well edited video would be. I’ll keep it in mind and try to work it in.
      That will be a longer to make video so it will take some time. Thanks again for the suggestion, they are always appreciated!

    Pug dungeons are exactly the reason I now have mostly optimized healers and tanks with multiple sets and add ons to switch them, except it's in a duo with my wife, who also has now done the same thing.
    We either go full support and always get groups, or try to get the other one's DPS a group so we can actually play the toons that started this.

      Nice. Yeah we go the one support, one dos route so they go more quickly. Haha.

    High elf recovers resource opposite of your primary (whichever is LOWEST, not highest), so being high elf won't help you with sustain since it will be stamina you will be getting. And yes as a healer you do need recovery, if your CPM is anywhere near optimal you won't sustain as high elf with 1 reduce magica cost unless you spend half GCDs on heavy attacking.

    • @Nightharrow
      @Nightharrow  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey SeaUnicorn!
      Thanks for stopping by and the correction on the passive there.
      A bit of hyperbole on the sustain I think but I can agree that some more conversations about the various sustain by class/race/degree of sweat.
      Thanks again, I appreciate you taking the time.

      Can’t beat the scalies… or the math.
      For what it’s worth, Breton historically has been great and still nothing wrong with it. It’s just that things have changed a lot since those days and with the hybrid meta you just don’t need the sustain like you used to.

    Hi Night, I have 2 questions. What gear would you run for 4man content and what set goes where? My second question is what do you think of infused trait on big body pieces instead of divines?

    • @Nightharrow
      @Nightharrow  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      SPC/PA if the tank isn’t wearing it would be my go to. For head I would do are druid or naz if someone else was doing major vuln. PA I would tend to back bar. Master resto front for sustain.
      Infused would be fine I guess? I havnt done the math on it, but probably not something I would do personally.

  • @Equerd
    @Equerd 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Bro, main class for heal in endgame was, is and will be Breton due to skill cost reduction, then dark elf and after argonian/khajit/high elf.
    Extra heal % from argonian is not worth it at all, if all runig hots from 2 heals won't heal, nothing will.
    Spaulder is now optional, as most of the time it is now on sorc mk or EC cro.
    Blue cp: hope infusion on spc, enlivening overflow on rojo. From the brink only usfull when hp can drop really low, most of the time rejuvenator is better.

    • @Nightharrow
      @Nightharrow  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You’re running two healers without Spaulder and they need recovery? Just slap another cost reduction glyph on the high elf.
      Recovery and cost reduction when you don’t need it do literally nothing for you. Breton isn’t bad, it’s just not generally needed anymore. Still a viable option though.

      @@Nightharrow that's the thing, on breton you can pull out as much dps from healer as possible, 3x wpn/spl dmg on jewellery, Thief mundus, and max mag food, or sugar skulls, and sustain is still grate, better contribution to overall group dps. No need for any recovery glyphs, food, eaven ritual mundus is not really needed. If you going for score and best possible results Breton will be best option. I can't see how argonian or high elf will contribute better, dark elf tho still good option.
      Saying all of that, this is still the best healer guide on TH-cam man, nice job 👏

    • @Nightharrow
      @Nightharrow  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Equerd Thanks man, I appreciate it. I spend a good amount of time on these to make them as useful as I can.
      I dont want to belabor the point, but lets look at the math real quick.
      High elf provides 258 weapon/spell dmg, 2k max mag, and ~100 mag or stam per second.
      Breton gets 65 mag per second, 2k max mag, and 7% reduced magicka cost.
      So we are net 35 mag or stam per sec for high elves, 258 weapon/spell dmg for high elves, and 7% reduced magicka cost for bretons. This 7% gives between 175-315 reduced mag cost depending on the spell cost.
      And infused magical harm glyph gives ~278 & 8 mag per sec. An infused reduced spell cost glyph gives 324 reduced magica cost.
      Ignoring the extra mag or stam from high elves we can see that if we choose to run one reduced spell cost we will be net -20 weapon/spell dmg, and +9-140 mag per second. If we go with a breton we end up net the oposite on both of these, have less sustain but a bit more weapon/spell dmg.
      Thats a fair amount of recovery for 20 weapon/spell dmg, and if you run a high elf and dont need the recovery, you can always go with more damage. So I think High elf is better in all but the most extreme recovery situations, which I dont think apply in the current meta.
      As an aside, you mentioned score pushing, that's not something I really consider when making any of my guides as I assume at that point everything you ar edoing is bespoke, and applies to like 200 people in the entire game, certainly less than 1k. Im aiming for the other 99.99999996% of players (a real number if you asume 24mil players and 1k score pushers).
      Also, I love these discussions, so thanks for dropping the comment!

      @gin-chilla4661 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree, the extra sustain passives of Bretons are not needed at all. But absolutely not a single Argonian passive is useful for PvE Healing. Life Mender is totally unnecessary. Resourceful totally fucks up you Pearls of Ehlnofey management. I often play High or Dark Elves on my healers or indeed Bretons because of the extra Armor Passive, which is absolutely nice in various kiting positions. Bretons are still one of the first choices for Healer races, followed by Dark and High Elves. Argonians have absolutely no benefit, in my opinion.

      @Nightharrow  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You don’t really need hollowfang anymore and a lot of people are using coral (need to keep their stam down) so you might swap that out but anything’s fine for a dungeon im sure. And getting people to stand in the olo circle is of course tough. So I would t recommend them.

      Generally speaking more healing is not needed in most/all situations, and in fact you can heal even the most difficult content in the game without +heal sets like this. For that reason it is generally regarded as a poor option.
      Having said that, there could be a situation where it was helpful, but I would first endeavor to try healing without it. Honestly you can heal all veteran content in the game with just combat prayer and illustreous healing.
