We covered a lot of ground that day - I think we swam over 5 miles - so no one spot in particular - we were as South as you can get on the Llyn, had a good view of Bardsey. Wouldn't recommend spearing there - scary currents. Spearing is best in the shallows - more fish and a safe exit!
Mannnn you're so selective!! Sometimes it feels like you never shoot 😂 We're the bass undersized or were you just after a bigger one? I would have definitely taken the fat mullet at the end... 😋
Well.... this was during the 2018 'Bass Ban', so we weren't allowed to shoot bass that summer...! To be honest, most of those were fish were on the small side. I don't take that many fish really, quite often I'll look back at the footage and wonder why I didn't take a shot, but hey, it's nice to be able to sit back and enjoy the view :)
@@BR0SE1DON Definitely a good ethos to have. I've never dived through a bass ban. Must be frustrating! Sometimes when I've reached my bag limit I'll just point the gun at the fish and say 'bang' in my head instead 😂 Having the camera pointed at them must help too
@@tamariderr you know what, the camera is so worthwhile, great to be able to look back at all your dives. The bass ban was a royal pain in the arse, I think I saw more bass that year than ever before! 😅
@@BR0SE1DON I see you haven't uploaded for nearly a year.. you been able to get out in-between lockdowns? As a new subscriber I'm going to start to expect some new videos! 😆
@@tamariderr oh mate, last year was just shocking, I only got in once. I’ve got some half decent footage, I should really put it together into a little video. I’ll try and do some more this year, I quite enjoyed filming the one I posted back in April 2019, that was actually quite fun. I live a looooong way from the sea unfortunately so I get precious few chances to get in, let see what this year brings. What part of the country are you in? Do you fish in N. Wales?
Good footage, where was this dude
