It's an easy one the WH1000XM5 are the best option as they are comfortable and and the ANC is stellar the sound profile is more balance the bass is not to heavy and mudy but perfect everything about these are amazing I went with the blue ones
Is it normal for the ear cups of this headset to wrinkle? Is there a way to purchase replacement earmuffs?

I have both. The beats sound crisper but surprisingly the sony have better bass
Tried both of these options at the store - the Beats are a bit louder and squeeze your head a bit more, which I found a little less comfortable. The sound on the Sony is much better and the ANC is amazing. Sony wins for me.
Beats is louder but Sony is more lighter and sounds very clean, it’s so comfortable that you don’t even feel you’re wearing headphones. I love beats they’ve always been my first choice but I’ll stick to Sony this time around.

i had a bad experience from sony 1000XM4 its ultra buggy and have tons of issue before of 8 months of use.. i paid 400usd when it first came out.... ill give beats Studio my money this time lest see.

@@Fuegovserrbody they have more of a neutral sound that doesn’t get distorted with full volume compared to the Sony where it’s a little muddy sounding with a lot of bass that drowns out the details when at full volume. Plus if you have an iPhone the personalized spatial audio makes Dolby music and movies sound way better

@@quinnkuhn yeah I tried customizing the EQ and everything they’re still not worth the money. I ended up buying sennheiser momentum 4’s and they sound a million times better compared to the Sony’s. The beats are good for movies if you like apples spatial audio too and head tracking
Naw, Sony is not the one for me. Especially since they have low quality plastic that brakes.
The only thing is good is the ANC but that’s it.

To me Sony had no bass. No matter what eq setting I put on it was little to none.
Then you have a problem with how you listen to music. Sony is super bass boosted.

@@leandro5l78 I leave everything flat. If your pair had no bass; it may have been defective, or there is something wrong with yours ears. It’s a very bass heavy headphone.

I got both and the XM5 have better sound quality, better ANC and a way better microphone
