Great catch they swapped the FP9 locomotives for the new CPKC locomotive I can’t help but notice that she doesn’t have the auxiliary water tenders and I also noticed that it looks like they removed her ditch lights
It was a short trip no need for the extra tenders they will be added back on the way to Shreveport. Ditch lights were removed when she came into the US she isn't required to have them
@@texastrainfan56 I’m gonna hopefully try to see it in Shreveport next weekend I just got to figure out how I’m gonna get there I’m probably going to only see it on Saturday for one day and then head back to my hometown
@TexasRailfan21-RailfanRyan I plan on chasing them down to Shreveport from Oklahoma (only about 3 hours from me) I'll be back out when they do the event so maybe I'll see you out there
Almost wonder if that's a way to show the Heritage of the unit itself being painted for just CP till now. Maybe the KCS units will have KCS on them when repainted
You're correct here, and of course 2816 will always be a CP locomotive with CP paint and a CP reporting mark. This guy clearly doesn't know anything about this railway.
And the new CPKC locomotives are nothing to sneeze at, also! I look forward to seeing them on a regular basis once they start running on the old KCS tracks running through eastern Oklahoma to Mexico and points south.
Yeah, well done. I think they did a good job on the new CPKC livery, but a little surprised on the heritage CP logo they didn't add a subtle Stars and Bars along with the Maple Leaf?!?!....The more i see it, the 2816 is a handsome locomotive....like it much better then the streamlined Hudsons...like to see the gear, the stuff that makes it go!
Wow that cpkc livery repaint all of em like that really sharp looking CN fans will be pissed it clearly is a take on CN Colors literally identical but replace white with yellow I think this cpkc livery looks better
Good video! Don't care much for the new CPKC Option 1 paintscheme (CP could have done better) as I was hoping for Option 3 or 5, but the footage was well done nevertheless.

Now, THAT'S a TRAIN video‼ EXCELLENT use of a drone‼✅👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thanks for watching!
That drone chase footage was beautiful
The music was not
Nice catch, love it with the Newly painted CPKC 9375 right out of the paint shop.
Great job on the footage and editing and the music overlay!
Thanks!
That drone shot is just glorious, awesome video!!
Thanks for watching!
Wow, the new livery really stands out and looks great!!
Looks like they dropped a bunch of cars when they swapped to the 9375, that consist is much shorter than it was here in St Paul. Great video!
Great video bro! !!! 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃 COOL!!!!
Pretty cool way of showing off the new livery
Love the horn battle with the BNSF stack train!
Thank you for the post, Railhunter!
Your welcome
I am quite surprised that despite this new paint it remains CP 9375 and not CPKC 9375. As indicated under the Cab numbers

Drone videography is a game changer.
Great catches awesome chase and nice video
When I saw CP 2816 travelling west through northern Ontario in 2003, the blue was much darker, almost black. I have a picture to prove it.
Great video! 😀
Thanks
Fantastic video
Thanks for watching
3:54 beautiful drone footage
Thanks
Great video.
Glad you enjoyed it

Thanks for watching and I agree
Great video. How did you know when they were coming into Union Station
Thanks! I arrived at Knoche yard as it was leaving and was able to get ahead of it, so pure luck I guess
I would say
Where’s the f-units? Back in Canada?
They were left in the yard temporarily will be added back before they leave for Shreveport

Why did they remove the ditch lights on 2816?
She isn't required to have them in the US
@@texastrainfan56 true
I wish I could have seen the first CPKC paint skeme in Moose Jaw SK when she rolled through.
sad to see a train that nobody's on, but thanks anyways for the view
CP #2816 has pulled up to KC with CPKC #9375. I also noticed some cars are missing
Dose anyone know if it will be traveling through Oklahoma?
They plan to stop in Oklahoma for the night (on the 21st) then continue in the morning to Shreveport
@@texastrainfan56 do you know where at?
@MTE610 somewhere in Heavener Oklahoma I'm assuming they have a yard there
@@texastrainfan56 oh yeah, it's the end point for the CPKC Heavner subdivision (going south). I go railraning there a lot.
@@FSTM4003I’m in Oklahoma I’m tryna see it to, where’s the yard at?
what is a CPKC
this is good---very good
Appreciate it
You will be seen in a Pentrex program in this section, when the Steam Engine is reversing next to the 9375.
Really? That's neat I guess. Please send me a link if you can
@@railhunterproductionsits going to be a program you can purchase. i will let you know when it's released. Nice drone footage by the way.
I like video!!
The diesel's paint scheme is sort of interesting. Too bad the CP does not have a heritage paint scheme program for the MILW, SOO, and MN&S.

The music kills it.
Would you rather have 3 minutes of drone motors screaming?
@@WarpedHorizonHe’s using a ground camera too, ain’t that hard to loop audio. I do it all the time, sometimes not as good as I’d like but still.
Nice joob 🫵🏼✨🫡🤍
Thanks
That is so awesome! I think I just cheated on my wife 😅
Will they put back the f units on the trip
Down south??
Yes they will and the CPKC Unit will be taken off before they leave as well
Great video.
Thanks for watching!
